    I strongly advise caution when considering this company for window and door installations. My experience has been frustrating from both a product and service standpoint, with multiple unresolved issues: The exterior aluminum trim around the patio door was left unfinished. Interior window moulding was installed with visible cracks that still need filling. One of the door handles installed was incorrect and does not match the others in the home. The window cranking/opening mechanisms are inconsistent and poorly installed. The patio door handle broke just two weeks after installation. The front door seal was inadequate, allowing insects to enter the home. I was delivered double-pane windows instead of the triple-pane I paid for—and never received a refund for the difference. The front door lite frame (the part around the glass) was defective and needed to be reordered. The wrong front door was initially delivered, causing a 6-week installation delay. The front door lite frame has still not been properly replaced. I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing. Based on the numerous issues and lack of follow-through, I would not recommend this company for future window or door projects.

    I signed a contract with Ecoline Windows in July 2024 and had the installation completed in December. During my consultation, I inquired about my existing storm door with the Ecoline Windows salesperson. I asked if I could reinstall my storm door, and the salesperson informed me that if it was included in the estimate, the cost would be $330. However, he also mentioned that if I spoke with the installation crew on the installation day, it could be done at a lower cost. He assured me that he would inform the installation crew in advance. As we are not experts in this field, we trusted his words and waited. However, on the day of installation, none of the staff asked me about the storm door. After the installation was completed, I attempted to reinstall my existing storm door, only to find that it was impossible because the standardized storm door was now larger than the newly installed door frame. I contacted the company, but they claimed that the door was a standardized size and that I should have informed them in advance if I wanted to reinstall the storm door. They then requested additional fees for a new brickmold and service. If the door and brickmold were indeed standardized, as Ecoline Windows claimed, I should have been able to install a standard storm door from Lowe’s or Home Depot. However, due to the door installed by Ecoline Windows, I am unable to install any storm door. Despite multiple email exchanges, the company continues to demand extra fees for a new brickmold and installation service. As a customer without specialized knowledge, I relied on the salesperson’s explanation and the company's reputation when making my decision. However, they are now requesting additional payment simply because I did not personally mention the storm door again on the installation day

    We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline. We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these visits missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. They also damaged our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline and this was not an issue for any of their windows. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them, and of course I know this is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified. I do not have any hope that they will do anything. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. This is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company.

    I had a terrible experience with Ecoline Windows regarding the warranty for blinds I purchased about a year ago. My sales **** ****, assured me the blinds came with a 5-year warranty. However, when one of my blinds stopped working, I contacted customer service, only to be told the warranty was only 1 year and had already expired in September. They offered to send me an estimate to order a replacement motor, but when I explained to **** from the service department that the issue was with the battery, not the motor, he completely ignored my message and never followed ***** make matters worse, **** never answered any of my phone calls or messages. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable.Their warranty policy is misleading, and their customer service is extremely disappointing. The quality of their products is also questionable. If youre considering Ecoline, demand written confirmation of their warranty and any verbal commitments because their word cannot be trusted.If I could give them zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, the system doesnt allow less than one star.Avoid Ecoline Windows if you value transparency, quality, and professional customer service.
