  I signed a contract with Ecoline Windows in July 2024 and had the installation completed in December. During my consultation, I inquired about my existing storm door with the Ecoline Windows salesperson. I asked if I could reinstall my storm door, and the salesperson informed me that if it was included in the estimate, the cost would be $330. However, he also mentioned that if I spoke with the installation crew on the installation day, it could be done at a lower cost. He assured me that he would inform the installation crew in advance. As we are not experts in this field, we trusted his words and waited. However, on the day of installation, none of the staff asked me about the storm door. After the installation was completed, I attempted to reinstall my existing storm door, only to find that it was impossible because the standardized storm door was now larger than the newly installed door frame. I contacted the company, but they claimed that the door was a standardized size and that I should have informed them in advance if I wanted to reinstall the storm door. They then requested additional fees for a new brickmold and service. If the door and brickmold were indeed standardized, as Ecoline Windows claimed, I should have been able to install a standard storm door from Lowe’s or Home Depot. However, due to the door installed by Ecoline Windows, I am unable to install any storm door. Despite multiple email exchanges, the company continues to demand extra fees for a new brickmold and installation service. As a customer without specialized knowledge, I relied on the salesperson’s explanation and the company's reputation when making my decision. However, they are now requesting additional payment simply because I did not personally mention the storm door again on the installation day

  We had 4 bedroom windows and 1 patio door completed by Ecoline. We originally went with this company as they told us that there were no glass delays for them and that everything was made locally. This was in 2021 when this was an issue. This ended up being untrue and everything was delayed. Install was finally completed in Jan 2022. Our patio door was the first issue that I noticed. We could barely open it. It took me over a year and countless visits by their techs to finally say that the door was defective. I stayed home for dozens of these visits missing work and activities/family time, and no one would take notes or submit paper work and it was ALWAYS me following up with the company for anything to be done. Their trim work is also done so poorly, it splits within weeks to months after install. They told me if I wanted it done nicely that I would have to pay extra. They also use a copious amount of caulk to fill in any gaps on the exterior. They also damaged our walls and new flooring during the install. We had other windows done by another company as we were fed up with Ecoline and this was not an issue for any of their windows. I am now dealing with our replacement patio door. It is bowed and now leaking cold air into the house. I have reached out to them, and of course I know this is going to be a painful process to get anything rectified. I do not have any hope that they will do anything. Lastly, they demand payment upfront and before any work starts. They will just stand there until they are paid. This is because the company will make the workers pay the company if a client does not pay. Highly unethical. A client should be able to pay once the work is done and you are satisfied, not before. There is no hold back in case poor work is done. I have lost countless work days, time with my family and energy with this company for them to rectify their issues. They are unwilling to make anything right. Stay away from this company.

  I had a terrible experience with Ecoline Windows regarding the warranty for blinds I purchased about a year ago. My sales **** ****, assured me the blinds came with a 5-year warranty. However, when one of my blinds stopped working, I contacted customer service, only to be told the warranty was only 1 year and had already expired in September. They offered to send me an estimate to order a replacement motor, but when I explained to **** from the service department that the issue was with the battery, not the motor, he completely ignored my message and never followed ***** make matters worse, **** never answered any of my phone calls or messages. This lack of accountability and communication is unacceptable.Their warranty policy is misleading, and their customer service is extremely disappointing. The quality of their products is also questionable. If youre considering Ecoline, demand written confirmation of their warranty and any verbal commitments because their word cannot be trusted.If I could give them zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, the system doesnt allow less than one star.Avoid Ecoline Windows if you value transparency, quality, and professional customer service.

  The only reason this company even gets 1 star from me is because, technically, I do have my windows installed. However, I can confidently say that the journey to get to this point has been singe handedly the most frustrating experience I have ever had dealing with a contractor. Our windows were not installed on time. We had to constantly follow up and push to get on the schedule (our windows also were magically ready to be installed as soon as we started discussing requesting our money back). The installation team no showed us during our scheduled time. The communication between the schedulers and crews is atrocious. Actually, the communication from this company in general is completely subpar. Once the installation crew actually showed up and put the windows in (payment up front, of course) they did not install our trim as we directed them to. Not only that, they did not even bring enough trim to finish the windows at all. Weeks later, after us again constantly having to follow up and push for this job to get done, they finally came back to deliver more trim so that we could finish the job ourselves. And despite the fact that we sent them exact measurements of what we would require, they STILL did not bring enough and had to come back the next day with more. The lack of customer care, totally unacceptable communication, and complete inefficiency of this company are just a few of the reasons I will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. We would have been better off to do this job ourselves (and honestly, had to finish most of it on our own anyways). And to top it all off, even though the windows are installed, we've now discovered one is crooked. If you're looking for a company with a strong attention to detail, that takes pride in their work and customer service practices, who will effectively communicate with you, then I would highly recommend you look elsewhere. I can't wait to never have to deal with Ecoline Windows again.

  The windows are wonderful. They have made a big difference in the warmth of my home. Once they replace the frame around my weird kitchen window and put the permanent blinds in I will be seventh heaven.
