    House build was in 1964 come with water well, basement. Long term average was 356 bq M3. After installation migration system, average drop down to 37 bq M3.Very well professional installation migration system except vent go outside. Should have protection from heavy downpour rain and small bugs.

We're glad to hear that your radon levels dropped significantly after installation and that you were happy with our professional service.Regarding your concern about the vent, wed like to reassure you that a sub-slab depressurization system is fully sealed, meaning humidity, water, and bugs cannot enter your home through the system at any time. The exterior vent is designed to withstand outdoor conditions, and while rain exposure is normal, water does not flow back into the system.For optimal performance, the vent remains open to ensure proper airflow, as additional coverings like insect screens can become blocked by leaves, ice, or debris, which could reduce efficiency.     Needed radon mitigation in ************* (if you're in ********, do yourself a favour and do a radon test over the winter), and chose ****** at RadonCare for advice and install. The price was good and the installation professional. I also got him to install a whole home air filtration system that's really helped with the wildfire smoke in the *******.

    We had a fantastic experience with RadonCare. We reached out to a few vendors initially and RandonCare was the only one we felt confident proceeding with. We were able to schedule a call with ****** ahead of the installation where he gave us a detailed breakdown of the system, potential installation challenges, location options, and lots of insight into the what was involved in the process.On installation day ****** walked us through all the testing performed, recommended installation locations and trade offs, and worked with our feedback to create the best solution for our in progress basement renovation (routing plumbing to minimize impact in the room). Work performed was neat and professional and ****** was great to work with. ****** also caught a missing check valve in our sump and installed it while setting up the mitigation system.For reference, our long term measurements before installation were around 280 Bq/m3 after ~40 days measurement, and have now dropped to ~25 Bq/m3 after ~20 days measurement. We couldn't be happier with the experience!

    A big thank you to ****** for taking the time to stop in and do an inspection of our home for radon mitigation. Our home is located near *********, **. I had contacted RadonCare yesterday morning. As it turned out, ****** was on the road for business and was coming through our area within a couple hours.He stopped in and did an initial assessment of the proposed radon mitigation work. This was a walk through to get an idea of my options and what would be involved. ****** is concise, professional and has a great deal of experience with this type of work. I retired as an electrical maintenance inspector in heavy industry and after having met with ******, I am very confident that he would do a great job.

    RadonCare was great to work with. Very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions with a great deal of patience. Work was done meticulously, there was no cleanup to be done because the installer had cleaned up very well after himself. Best of all, our Radon levels are much lower! Down to under 15 bq/m3 from as high as 398 bq/m3.

    I am impressed with the services provided by RadonCare... Andrew and **** went above and beyond explaining any questions I had and addressing any concerns regarding the Radon levels at my home. I researched a lot about Radon and how to mitigate it and I was initially considering doing it myself (drilling the slab, installing a vent and sealing some cracks)... After speaking with a couple of other companies/competitors, I was confident I could do the same thing they were proposing it. When I met Andrew (assessment/sales), I was impressed how much knowledge he was able to share and how their mitigation considerations go beyond the Radon itself. **** (installation/services) did exactly what was proposed by Andrew, no surprises. Now, a week after the system was installed, radon levels decreased from 150-280 Bq/m3 to 15-60 Bq/m3... In addition, a good surprise, my basement now is warmer than it was before, probably due to the efficiency of sealing all the surroundings of the basement. If you are considering mitigating Radon at your place, you should AT LEAST talk to Andrew! Great job!
