About the bbb foundation

Recognizing integrity put into action

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Wisconsin Foundation was created in 2001 by BBB Wisconsin to expand its educational and community impact. While BBB Wisconsin is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, the Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) charitable organization that can accept tax-deductible donations and pursue grants.

The Foundation has no employees. BBB Wisconsin staff provide the experience, infrastructure and operational support needed to carry out its programs. This structure allows the Foundation to focus its resources on its mission of advancing marketplace trust through education and supporting individuals, businesses and charities that operate with integrity.

Education, events, and community resources

BBB Foundation also connects the community with learning opportunities, trusted meeting space, and local presentations on ethics, scams, fraud prevention, and marketplace trust.

Educational programs

BBB provides educational resources for business owners to help you grow your business. Attend free webinars, get certifications, and earn continuing education credits.

Speaking engagements

BBB staff can speak to organizations, civic groups, businesses, and community partners on scams, fraud prevention, marketplace trust, and related topics.

BBB events

BBB hosts seminars and events throughout the year for businesses, nonprofits, consumers, and community partners.
