      Scam. I attempted to make two payments via the instamed payment system embedded in my health insurance website. Instamed withdrew the payments from my account and did not send them to the intended service providers. They held the payments and would not respond to phone calls or emails for weeks. I ended up having to make the payments again directly, then start a fraud claim through my bank to get them to respond and refund the payments. Using instamed was a complete waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

      Incredible bad IT. I have the same error message about failing ZIP code for over 2 months niw. Nobody can solve the issue, except closing the ticket(s) without solving the issue. Connected them with HSA bank, but no solution. Makes payments from MyCigna through Instamed susing HSA account) impossible.

      Instamed operates a fraudulent business. They send out payments in the form of prepaid cards that most providers are unable to process. Because of that, medical bills remain paid and patients are sent to collection. The authorities really need to investigate the way this company operates.

      If I could give them a zero, I would. My health insurance company (Cigna) gave us the option of paying bills through their website via the third party payment provider InstaMed. I have done it twice. Realize that they send payments via USPS. If the payment address is wrong, then the provider will never receive the payment. The patient can inform InstaMed that the provider payment address is wrong, but InstaMed will not update it unless they are informed by the provider. It takes up to 6 weeks to cancel a payment! I'll never use them again!

      One star too many. I concur what is said here - NEVER EVER USE THE PORTAL VIA YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO PAY PROVIDERS. NEVER. I will leave as many reviews as I can warning people. After hours and hours trying to solve the mess of a payment I made in 2021 via InstaMed, which two years later the provider claims wasn’t paid, I have finally figured out that InstaMed pays some providers (at their request) in pre-paid credit cards. Nuts right? And if the providers don’t use them in a timely fashion (dozens of pre-paid cards at a medical provider!?) they EXPIRE. No joke. Your payment debited from your checking account is now essentially expired. And if no one informs you of this or they use an old email address, you are now in default. They claim they refund your payment but so far no evidence of that, and then the provider is left without payment who will likely turn you over to collections, also without your knowledge. This is a ridiculous and messed up process. Of 5 InstaMed payments made via the Cigna portal back in 2021, 3 of them have been a nightmare of calls, emails, receipts, bank statements, trying to figure out what in the world happened. Just don’t do it. Tell your friends. Shame on you InstaMed for a lousy process which doesn’t clearly warn payees of this crazy process that is clearly fraught with potential problems of non payment and collections risk.

      Should be illegal. They sent our office a letter stating we had received a patient payment. When I called I was told we had no payments , that it was a marketing effort to attract business. OI found it appalling

      I paid a bill for services rendered 9/2022. Paid in 10/2022. Kept receiving notices. 12/3 I contacted InstaMed and have had 24 email conversations since. I have provide proof of payment. I had an account lead jump into the conversation and she actually asked what date of service I paid for. I only have been to this clinic 2 times and they applied the first bill correctly but apparently can’t figure out where my monies went for the 2nd date of service. They asked me for my phone number last month which I gave them and still no call yet a email asking me if this has been resolved. What a joke. I just received another bill today for the same date of service for the same amount.

      I never signed up for Insta med. I do not know how to cancel them. Does anybody know how this could happen or how I can get rid of Insta med?! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Received email and text informing me of bill for a payment plan I never signed up for. Made numerous calls to instamed, while on hold I get disconnected, sent email. Called immediate care from where the bill originated and no one responds.

      Instamed sucks even for business owners. Customer svc speak to you nicely but no resolution of issue. Specific agent assigned to you will never pick up calls nor answers emails or voicemails. Julia S******** to be specific. I have been trying to resolve an issue since early september and not even close at this time!
