The company sold us a product and service however they did something else when they showed up. They also have not completed the job.Business Response

The job is incomplete. Everdry did show up yesterday. They sent a two-man crew and they worked for three hours today. They sent one man today and he worked all day but because of lack of manpower he did not finish the job. The job is suited for a four-man crew and as of today the job is still incomplete. As previously indicated in our company's response to Ms. ****'s initial complaint, was was scheduled to correct the reported issues on June 21 and 22, 2023. It was a two day project but Ms. **** chose to file her response on the evening of June 21, 2023 before the work was complete.
The work has now been completed and Ms. **** signed a Completion form on June 22, 2023 at the conclusion of the work, acknowledging the completion and her satisfaction with the work. No addition work is scheduled. Our company considers this matter closed.

I purchased a sump pump and the sump pump has never worked properly. It was not put in the ground properly, so the company came out on five different occasions and broke the concrete foundation to my home trying to get the sump pump in the ground. Each person they sent could not complete the job so they would send a new person over and over. Ive had at least 20 guys in my house and the sump pump is still not working. Second issue is they voided the warranty on my radon mitigation system. I asked the company before they did the work would my radon mitigation system be affected. They told me no it would not.. Warrant voided.. also, during the installation, they did not give me a radon lid, knowing that I have radon in the home, they expose my family and myself to high levels of ***** because they left cracks around my entire basement and did not put the radon lid on the sump pump. Imediately following installation the backup battery pack did not work. The battery failed the next day. They came out changed the battery I continued to have issues beeping all day. (still does not work) They finally sent someone out and said that entire battery system needs to be replaced. They have sent six guys here With the wrong battery, they refuse to order the one that I need the ones they bring are not wired for my system. Im fed up. I paid over $24,000 for the system and they have destroyed the foundation to my home they have not reimbursed me for the radon mitigation system and the sump pump is not working . I call I email I even had one of the managers tell me he would handle this situation personally he has ignored me and lied to me repeatedly. Im trying to get the system to work. They also charge me for something that they did not install.

I have plenty of emails and proof they have sent several men to my house to look at the issue but never resolved it as Ive stated to them Id like to see action. I do not accept what they’re saying because they have not fixed the problem. I spoke with a supervisor today and he said the same thing they told me before in the past we’re gonna schedule somebody to come out and take care of the issue. We already mailed the check is what I was told on Tuesday and then today I was told they were going to do it so the information is not true and no action has been taken. They just send out a worker with a clipboard to appear like they’re doing something. I have the entire conversation recorded on my ring camera. The supervisor that came out today did not know why he was there in addition to that. He did not have the Wi-Fi box. He did not have a crew with him to fix the issue. Yes, I met with them but they did no work. They told me someone would be in touch and I did not hear from anyone until yesterday. **** ***** called me and said the same thing again “I will take care of this personally” but nothing is being done. I have been hearing this for at least six months now. There is something very minor that needs to be taken care of which is my battery box. They won’t even order the correct box for my system. Based on my interaction, they don’t have any intention of fixing it. They keep giving me empty promises. I was told the radon system check was already processed over three months ago. He told me yesterday he saw the check and I should get it soon. At the initial meeting, which was at least 2 weeks ago they told me he had the foundation report and he would get back to me. I have this on videotape. Yesterday he asked me did I have a foundation report, they lie so much they’re forgetting what they’re saying. He said they could come out Thursday or Friday but we have not heard from them. They have full knowledge of what needs to be done.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: they have addressed the Wi-Fi backup battery, which we waited for a year and Im grateful but they have not addressed the sump pump issue or the foundation as of yet the reimbursement has not been given for the sump pump nor has he returned regarding the foundation. Everdry rep ********** in with silicone and told my husband he will return to finish and silicone will not fix the foundation issue

Everdry has submitted for a check on 11/20/24. The check will be arriving by the end of this week and will be hand delivered to the consumer. The check is for reimbursement of Radon testing. As of 11/21/24 the services were completed and signed off on. The foundation issue was curing cracks in our concrete that was laid. The cracks were sealed and no further foundation issues were found. The image is not a check stub that is a request for the check. Until I receive a reimbursement for the radon mitigation system, and they reimburse for the foundation damage. I contracted with Everdry to waterproof our basement. Work began on or about October 9, 2022. Work on the first day went fine. On day 2, the lead worker came and told me that they had accidentally cut the line to the AC unit outside. He said that the company would pay for the repair. In reality, it was a 30 year old system that could not be repaired, but it was still working well.
Fast forward six months, numerous phone calls, and numerous e-mails later.. Everdry has yet to reimburse me for the fictional repair (given the age of the system it became apparent that I would have to purchase a new unit). Moreover, they have failed to follow up with some issues that we brought to their attention regarding incomplete work (see attached photo)..
The work they actually completed was, for the most part, satisfactory. However, they have not fulfilled all of their obligations under the contract and they have failed to follow through with their obligation to reimburse me for the AC unit.

While my wife and I are willing to meet
with Everdry, their proposal is nothing more than the same responses
we have received for the last (now) seven months, with Everdry
failing to fulfill any of their assurances. Given the history of
this controversy, I cannot assume that they are acting in good faith.
We will meet with Everdry regarding the
reimbursement, although that is pretty much pro forma, once
they have assured us that their representative can enter into a
binding agreement and only after they have sent a team to fix the exterior defect. There is no
reason for either my wife or I to be present for that to occur.
It is
our position that there should be no further delay in resolving these
issues.
We
will also discuss the issue of damp spots on the basement floor (a
new concern which has likewise been raised in the past).

On 7-1-2022 I signed a contract with them to waterproof **** ***** ******* *** which was never completed ,There is water still leaking in the basement of both home,s I,ve called them about the problems on both and they said i had a balance and i informed them they did,nt complet there contract. Description:
The constituent hired Everdry Waterproofing of Columbus on August 7, 2022. They are located at **** ****** *** ********* ** ****** She hired them to stop dampness in her basement. They spent three days water-proofing her basement.
She tells me they mixed the concrete on her patio and it stuck to her freshly painted patio. Additionally,
they tracked tar on her driveway. These are examples of damages. We generally cannot take a
complaint against this.
So, I asked her about the job itself. She tells me the cement they put down is uneven. I told her this is
more likely to be accepted because it is poor quality work. For this reason, I am submitting the consumer
complaint.
The constituent paid them $100. She owes them $18,000.Business Response

relation to power washing the driveway and patio and had not heard back from the customer since that
