We had drainage system repair done 10+ years ago. We have been paying for yearly warranty. In the past, they have come out to fix leaks, or say nothing we can do. Then in July 2025 had severe leaking in basement. Had someone come out. Scheduled us 2 months out- September 10, 25 @ 8am. At 8:04am, got a text stating they need to cancel. I guess general manager doesn't look at reports until day of. They needed to reinspect my system. So they came out 9/12/25, promised they had a crew on standby for Monday 9/15/25 at 8am. So today, my husband got a text at 8:30am stating they have to cancel again. I contacted 2 different people to have a manager or supervisor to contact me on September 10, however no one has reached out I would like another couple company to come out and fix the drainage system problem and Everdry to pay for it. Thank youBusiness Response

They did show up Wednesday. However the work they did was not what should have been done. They came back out the next day and did a partial repair. Still things that need done, like a new battery for sump pump, etc. The managers, job supervisors and people working do not communicate. I think if people don't show up, then that is business problem and maybe supervisors need to step in and do work. Still awaiting job to be completed. Front line still not tied into main. Also, garbage was thrown in garden, cups and wrappers laying around. Not to mention all the belongings of ours that was destroyed because of leaking. Come to find out it wasn't done right the first time. I believe we should get some sort of restitution or payment to help with damage caused by poor work. Dealing with this for 10+ years. Not fair that we are left out to dry.Initial Complaint

In 2019 paid $24,000 to have our basement done. Until recently it's done ok besides the fact they did not tell us they were draining the sump pump into the yard in 2 different locations, needless to say we have been dealing with the mud pits created in the yard. End of June my husband noticed water along basement walls. Called them the first time June 30th, so called inspector came out and saw the water said he would turn in the paperwork. 2 weeks later I called and the receptionist said she had no notes on it. Called me back and scheduled repair crew to come out on August 4th from 9-11. Called me at 8am and said a ******* called off they would have to reschedule for August 12th. on August 11 I waited until 4:30 pm and called to see what time they were going to be here, no answer, they did call back talked to my husband and told him they would have to reschedule again because our whole repair crew was off sick, rescheduled for Aug 21. in the meantime, I have water all around the foundation in the basement!!! I have never been late on my $75 a year. We just paid $3800 for someone to finally fix the flooding in the yardBusiness Response

First, I will provide the facts about the job.
I signed a contract with Everdry for a basement waterproofing job on 5/1/2025.
The contract was signed for $26,512 and I paid a $6,512 down payment. The business committed to provide me services to make my basement waterproof.
The nature of the dispute at this point is that the job is not complete. In detail, the sump pump does not discharge far enough from the home to be a long term waterproofing solution. Several employees at Everdry have attempted to tell me the job is complete and Everdry began pursuing collections even though the job is not complete. The job which was supposed to take 2 days has now taken at least 10 days of coordinating with Everdry employees, part of the extended length of time is the job was initially done incorrectly. I have tried negotiating with the company for a reduced cost of the price for the additional time and completing the job. After contacting another company and the city of Columbus, the best practice for the discharge line is discharging the sump pump to the street. Everdry is trying to get me to hire my own engineer and apply for permitting to complete the job to discharge to the street with no discount, alternatively they are offering a "pop-up emitter" which is significantly cheaper and not best practice according to my research including communication with another contractor and the city of Columbus.
My desired resolution is an end of the contract. They can keep my downpayment and I can finish the job with a different company.
Attached is a time-line of contact with Everdry, a full list of issues I have had during the job, communications with the city of Columbus, a picture of the current sump pump discharge, and a photo of the letter received via certified mail that is a threat of collections.
Not attached due to file size constraints are videos or original work, conversation with general manager, and emails with Everdry, but are available if needed.Business Response

********- We have met with Mr. ******* and offered 2 alternative options for the sump discharge line such as extending the line 15' underground to an area that is suitable for proper drainage. At the time of the meeting with Mr. ******* he had requested for us to move his sump pumps to the front of his home and for us to run his discharge lines to the street. I had indicated to Mr. ****** that the chosen location for the pumps was in the most suitable location based on the layout of his basement. We also advised Mr. ******* that running the discharge line to the street would have to be ok by the city of Columbus also noted that the city would require an engineer report and drawing with the possibility of an approval. The cost to move the line would range 4 to 5 thousand in addition to cost of the work that was already completed. We agreed to move the sump pumps and the discharge line if Mr. ******* could obtain an approval for the routing of the discharge line to the street Everdry would do the work at no additional cost to satisfy Mr. ******* request. Also note that during this project Everdry did pull all necessary permits and setup an inspection with a city inspection who inspected the work and approved the installation of all the work that was done by Everdry which Mr. ******* attended. We also advised Mr. ******* if we were to complete the service requested and he was able to provide us with an approval from the city of Columbus that running his discharge could propose service issues in the future such as freezing and possible water back up into his basement. We will provide all documentation of the permits and approvals we obtained from the city of Columbus. Mr. ******* has informed me that he does not want any communication from our office, and he will be seeking an attorney. We have sent all of his information to our legal team for non-payment.
Columbus City Code States-
3. Prohibited discharge onto public right-of-way
Discharging sump pump water directly onto public sidewalks, streets, or alleys is forbidden if it creates hazardous conditions, such as:
Ice hazards in freezing temperatures.
Falling hazards due to slickness caused by water or algae accumulation.
Section 20-309 of Chapter 20 of the Columbus City Code
specifically addresses this, stating that it is unlawful to allow water from a building to fall upon or spread over adjoining sidewalks.Customer Answer

The business did not respond to my list of complaints. Let
me respond to the main issue. The work in dispute is not “additional,” but work that would
be done on a normal project. The sump pump discharge was discussed verbally
when I was signing the contract. Unfortunately, I do not have a recording of
this because I am used to companies upholding their contract. All other
companies I received quotes from would have discharged water to the street. The response also does not accurately represent the
discussions I have had with Mr. J*****. I have attached recordings of
negotiations with Mr. J***** (in which he agreed to be recorded). After
discussing with other basement contractors, I was willing for the project to be
completed and was not requesting to move the sump pump. I was simply asking for
the correct discharge to be installed and for the price of the project to
adequately change to reflect my additional time in which I have not been able
to fully use my home and the time I have had to miss work to supervise the project.Direct negotiations broke down a week after a phone call
where Mr. J***** said he would only be willing to discuss the price if I used a
“pop-up emitter” rather than have the discharge go to the street. He gave me a
ticking clock to respond to the issue by the following Friday (email
correspondence attached). I reached out to the city of Columbus Blueprint
project, my neighbor who also used EverDry, and a contractor. I heard back from
all three and ended direct negotiations because: (1) Blueprint said the
preferred method is to discharge to the street when possible, (2) My neighbor’s
service included a discharge to the street, and (3) the independent contractor confirmed
that discharge to the street is the standard method. These responses, the
ticking clock, and lack of movement from EverDry regarding renumeration through
the price of services for my time made me believe EverDry was not negotiating
in good faith.I am still amenable to ending things without legal
intervention. My only request is that the contract is rendered void. Therefore,
Everdry could keep my deposit, I would be out of my time at no additional expense,
and neither of us would need to engage in further legal costs. If this main issue is addressed as above, then I will not
act on the other issues mentioned in the list of complaints and I will agree to
the dispute being resolved.

Unfortunately, that is not a reasonable resolution noting that Everdry has invested time, labor and materials. We are willing to come to a resolution within the 3 options I provided in the first response and collect full payment for the project.Customer Answer
Date: 08/01/2025
EverDry is not responding to my complaints or attempting to reach a resolution.
I reiterate that the main problem is that EverDry would not complete the job to install the sump pump discharge to the street. This is part of the job and the desired method of the city of Columbus. This is also work that has been done on my neighbor's home for the contracted multi-step method. I also verified this with another independent contractor who is going to finish the work.
As mentioned in the initial complaint and my response to the business, I am willing to reach a resolution, but if there is no response regarding the proposed resolution this seems difficult.

EveryDry gave us an estimate February *******. We asked them to do the financing for the job under mine and my husband's name. They only did it under my name. They came out on Monday, March 10, 2025 to start the job of waterproofing our basement both inside and outside. My husband and I were out of town and our 23-year-old daughter was there that whole day while they were working. They showed up without a supervisor and smelled strongly of marijuana. They didn't properly prepare the space, including the baseboards. They began jackhammering the cement floor in our basement around all the outside walls. We were home the next day andmet with the supervisor ******. He assured us everything was going according to how it should. They had put painters tape over the baseboardsto hide the damage from the first day. They "finished "the job Friday 3/14. ****** did a walk-through with me but left the painters tape on because he said everything had to "dry". I pointedout some things that were wrong, including tar left on our freshly painted basement walls, chunks taken out of the wall, transition piece from the mudroom to the basement was ripped up,dust everywhere, etc. I was assured they would come back the next week and take care of it. They came back the next week & remove the painters tape where I saw the severe damage to the baseboards. Spots that were actually chunked out of the wood because they didn't properly protect them while they were cement that was up against the baseboards. They dropped cement on our pavers by our driveway. When plants started coming up in April, I noticed that all of my perennials along back bed outside the family room wrapping around to the fireplace were not returning. The last four months we gone back-and-forth with them trying to get them to come and fix all the damages. They have been playing games with us sending people out but not getting anything done or fixed. They lied to the finance company & said was done so they want payment from us.Business Response

This matter is absolutely not closed. We have tried to contact this company and work with them for over four months now and most of the time we receive no response responses. We are currently waiting to schedule them to come out to supposedly complete the replacement of the baseboards. My husband replied to their text last week about days that worked for us and we have yet to hear back from the company about when they're coming out to do this. They still not mention the transition Piece. They also have not talked about what's gonna happen for them with all of the perennial plants that they destroyed.
This matter will not be closed until we get complete resolution of the project being done to our satisfaction. It will not be closed until we get. Credit for this project. The entire project. From day one this has been a terrible project. He took the information down for both my husband and I for the loan and then didn't even run it under both our names and credits just fine. That was the first mistake. Then they sent out a bunch of workers that smelled like marijuana and didn't do anything to protect items in our basement as well as around the house, the outside of the house. Extremely disappointed in this we were unable to use our finished area in the basement for three It kept promising to come out and finish things. This is absolutely not closed and taken care of it

We have visited with homeowner to discuss their concerns; the company has agreed to replace their baseboards within their basement. The customer offered 3 dates of availability we are able to schedule the replacement for the baseboards 8/9/2025. Also note that it is written within our contract and Job card that the homeowner is responsible to make all serviceable areas bare and accessible. Everdry has come to this agreement for replacement of the baseboards as a reasonable resolution. We are waiting for the homeowner to confirm that the chosen date above will work for their schedules.Customer Answer
Date: 07/27/2025
My husband sent ever dry three possible dates that we are available for the repairs. We have not seen a communication yet on the date that they will come and make the repairs. In their message, they said they agreed to August 9, 2025. I have not received that confirmation text or email or phone call. My husband is not received that confirmation yet. We are more than happy to have repairs done on that day.
again, we are demanding a credit for this job because the baseboards were repaired. They haven't said if they're gonna have the transition piece for the mudroom down to the stairs the basement that they ruined as well. We have not been reimbursed or been credited for any plants were destroyed. They have not finished painting, sanding and painting the spots in the walls that they had to repair. So even though they say they're going to fix the baseboards on August 9 we are not holding our breaths because we've been told this before. They were supposed to fix on May 30 and they did not. And we're also demanding a credit because for three months our basement was unusable because we kept everything away from the walls so they could come and complete the repairs like they were supposed to. They didn't repair them or replace them as they were supposed to. We had to use our finished basement in June for a sleepover for our son's birthday. So now yet again we have to move everything into the middle of the room so they can replace the baseboards when it should've been done months ago. So we're demanding our credit for this job because it has taken five months for it to get completed, hopefully. And even then they only talk about replacing the baseboards, but not finishing sanding and painting the walls where they damaged those and replacing the transition piece at the top of the stairs to the basement. We've had to put forth significant effort and move items around in our finished basement several times because they did not show up and do what they were supposed to do when they said they would do it. Another reason we are demanding a credit because the company lied. Yes, Everdry lied to service finance and on March 26 they got paid the full $34,000 from service finance even though the job was nowhere near complete. This has been one frustration after another. We're ever dry is not upheld their end of the contract from day one. They allowed a crew but clearly was hi. Come in and not properly repair our basement so they end up damaging our walls which I've been freshly painted. They damage our baseboards. They damage the transition piece. Didn't properly cover everything so there's dust all over all of our belongings in the finished and unfinished part of the basement that we've had to clean up over the last couple months. They left gravel all over our carpet. We have stepped on gravel more than a dozen times in our basement and we've even run the vacuum several times and each time it has picked up gravel that ever dry left behind. So our basement was not properly prepared nor was it properly cleaned up. We're still waiting for a number of repairs. We had to go out and buy all new plants that they killed. And then someone at the company lied to the finance people and told them that the project was done so they could get paid and then not complete the repairs. And again we weren't able to use our basement for three months because we kept getting told they would come finish everything and fix everything and not to put anything back. These are some of the reasons for demanding a credit for this job.

We have been in communication with Mr. *******, and he confirmed that Aug 8th would work for the scheduled service date for August 9th. To answer your question about the financing the homeowner would have to sign and agree to any of the financing terms before the bank will fund us as well the bank does a verification call after all docs have been signed before funding the company. To answer your question in regard to the base boards it is noted and signed by Mrs. ******* & Mr. ******* on the job card that the company is not responsible for any damage to the baseboards and that we recommend having them removed prior to any work to be done. The company has agreed to return and replace the boards. I will upload the said documents. Only Service to be done is the replacement of the baseboards on August 8th.
Customer Answer
Date: 08/14/2025
So Everdry did come out on Saturday, August 9. They did replace the baseboards and sanded spots that had been spackled. They had to wait several days for the caulking to drive in order to paint the baseboards. They said they would come back in several weeks, but no date was given. We are still waiting to hear back which date specifically they will come back and paint the baseboards. At that time, they will paint the spots on the walls that were damaged And hopefully replace the transition piece from the mudroom to the basement stairs. So we yet again had to rearrange everything and they finished part of the basement to the middle part so the baseboards could be replaced and then move it back because otherwise we can't use the space and our son has a sleepover with friends coming up. So when they do come back to paint the baseboards, we will need to move everything again to the middle of the finish part of the basement.
We are still waiting to hear about the credit for this job since it's taken over five months to get these damages taken care of. It has cost us a lot of time as we've had to move things around in our basement but the finish base and unfinished base a number of times. Because they said they were going to replace the baseboards back in May, but did not we were unable to use the space as we were told to leave everything in the middle and not put anything back so we were not able to even use our basement for several months. and there's still the matter of all of the perennial plants that were killed along the back and part of the side of the house. So hoping to discuss further with them the credit for this job. We do appreciate ***** coming out and personally overseeing some of the work being done as well as sanding the walls himself. Would you feel that he will actually get things taken care of at this point which is much appreciated. I will need to send him a text soon to discuss the credit amount for this project. So we still have some unfinished things to take care of, but as of now, there's no set date for them to return to finish these.Initial Complaint

We paid EverDry to waterproof our basement back in December. We paid them 18k for the job that hasnt been completed. They did not do the work specified in the contract, gaslighting me into believing the cheaper option for they was the better option for my home. It has taken 6 months of constant complaining for them to do some of the work that was called out in the contract. I am rejecting this response because:
We have reached out to the company numerous times about the areas that are still showing water every time that it has rained and have been told the same or similar answers as to why this is happening. We know for a fact that they did not complete the job per the contract originally as I have had to make numerous complaints to the business for them to complete the work stated in the contract. I have requested documents from the company to show that they dug down to the cracks and have not been given such documentation. From witnessing their work, they did not dig down to the cracks and this is part of the reason we were having issues.

The contract that we signed with EverDry stated that they would follow any cracks to the bottom of the foundation to repair. We have asked them numerous times for proof that they did this service and have not been given anything. The last service call, which this corner has been worked on 2-3 other times by the company, revealed a crack that they did not follow down to the bottom of the foundation. This crack would not have formed in the 7 months since the initial work was performed, thus proving that the company did not satisfy their initial contract. We have to ****** the company to respond to our requests, and even then they do not perform the work that they say they will perform. The work they did last time was subpar. The connection from the emergency sump pump line came disconnected during the last rain storm. We have reached out to the company and have not heard back from them. We are asking for a full refund of our project since it is clear that they did not fulfil their contract and we need to work with another company to get our basement issues corrected.Business Response

I have been with Everdry since 2023. I am still having more issues with the "repairs" in my basement that they have made. They put a drain into my basement but they placed it too high to function. They installed sump pumps but failed to bring the run off away from my house. They came back and added pipes but now it overflows into the middle of my back yard and is creating a mud pit. They have to dig up the basement again because its still leaking. Each repair requires meeting an inspector, then meeting the team on different days. They still fail to address the issue by the end of all the meetings. I am losing hours from work each time I have to make these arrangements. They say they're going to do something during the meet and greet and the only do half of what they discuss each repair. After almost 3 yrs of these headaches and paying a loan on $22000ish I shouldn't still have puddles in my basement! I feel I should be compensated something towards my loan and time. This has been rediculous. All service should come with some type of accountability and I'm just not experiencing that at EverDry. It should be fixed.Business Response

March 6, 2025. Everdry did a total basement waterproofing job inside and out. There were multiple terrible issues but Ill stick to the one issue that must be resolved. A new sump pump system was installed and the sump pump discharge was rerouted. I had originally been told that it would be tied into the down spouts but that was not possible so as an alternative I was offered a dry well installed in the yard to collect the water. Unfortunately they did neither. The water just discharges into a low spot in the back yard that has since turned into a total mud pit. I have the area fenced off with orange plastic construction fence to keep my dogs out of it. Two separate people have been out to look and agreed that a dry well should have been installed. Their service department scheduled this to be done on Friday June 6. 2025. The week before, someone from the service department called and asked if they could change the appointment to Monday. It never occurred to me that she meant any other Monday but the one in the same week as the original appointment as she didnt say a week from Monday or Monday June (some date in the future). When no one showed up on Monday I called the office and was put into the service department voice mail as I always am. They have never once taken a call at the time Ive called. I was really mad by then, no show plus wont answer my call. I have never received any call back to date and none of my calls have been answered. They didnt come on the originally scheduled date of June 6 or I thought maybe she meant Monday June 9 but still no show and still wont answer my call. This job was over $16,000. And I have been left with nothing but headaches. I either want them to finish the job or refund me the cost of having another company complete the job.Business Response

BBB took a complaint over the phone. Below is the voice to text voicemail description
*** ******, ********, I am asking that EverDry payback and refund me $22 ,620. They did not fulfill their contract. The contract states that they were to do the work within 90 days. The contract was signed on October 31, 2024. Here to date, they still have not completed the work. They started the work the week prior to Thanksgiving in 2024, did not complete that week to satisfactory, filed a dispute against the charges after they worked on the House once again here in January, there was mold detected in the house December 19th between the vapor barrier that they put up that we were not told that was going to be put up. We were told that the company does not put up vapor barrier. Once Everdry was notified of the mold, we were told that we were to treat it with vinegar or bleach. They worked on the house January 14th inside in the basement, January 15th inside in the basement. It wasn't until that Friday that they asked to come in and do a test mold. My husband had to miss three days vacation because them canceling the job and not coming out. The job was supposed to be complete, again, that second try of them coming out, and it still was not complete. went into the following week, they came out that Thursday, Friday, it was not complete, they came out Saturday, it was stated that they would be completed that day, it was not completed, I filed a dispute on my credit card, they submitted fraudulent documentation to my credit card company stating that the job was complete on November 22nd of 2024 on a unique sheet that my husband had signed. It was not dated when he signed it. He signed it on ***** of 2024. they dated it for 11-22-24, and that last line on the sheet was added after, and it says that job is complete with that date, and they falsely added that. And you can even tell in the documentation that it is a different handwriting on that last line. It looks different from lines 1 through 5. The unique sheet was basically just stating things that they weren't able to complete during the job and that if something should happen due to them not completing that portion of the job that they would, it was covered under warranty and they would come back out and then do it at that time. So, because they did not complete the work, as they stated and sold to us, they did not fulfill the contract in completing the work within ************************************************************************************************************************************** their favor. I am asking for the $22 ,620 due to all of that. Again, this is *** ******, and the ** number is ********. Thank you. Thank you very much.Customer Answer

Have more attachments that I was unable to upload. I also have videos on my ******** account that I have recorded of conversations with the Everdry staff supporting that the work was not done professionally, nor was it complete, and the 90 days that it was supposed to be completed have lapsed. Everdry have breached their contract as well as forged documents, that I provided the proof of the unique sheet where that shows where line 6 was added at a later date than when my husband signed it.Business Response

[If you do not say why you are rejecting the company's response, BBB must close your complaint.]
Complaint: 22956857
I am rejecting this response because:We recently met with Everdry representative ******* ******* at our home. During our conversation, ******* emphasized that he had implemented numerous changes within the company and was now personally handling all decisions and complaints. My husband and I took this opportunity to express our ongoing negative experiences with *********************** quickly became evident that ******** primary motivation for the meeting was to continue work at our home in an effort to restore Everdrys Better Business Bureau (BBB) status. He explicitly stated that as long as he extended an offer to complete the work, Everdry could regain its BBB accreditation. Given our continued dissatisfaction with Everdrys workmanship and business practices, we made it clear that we were unwilling to proceed further. ******* insisted that things had changed under his leadership and urged us to trust him personally, rather than judge the company based on its past performance. Despite his assurances, we declined his ******** husband and I have already taken multiple days off work to meet with Everdry staff in an attempt to see our basement project completed. On several occasions, we lost valuable paid time off, only for Everdry employees to fail to show up as scheduled. This project has been extraordinarily costlynot only in terms of the price of the work itself but also the additional expenses required to correct errors, as well as the lost wages from our missed workdays. Time that should have been spent on leisure and family instead had to be used supervising Everdrys unreliable workers.******* later scheduled a second meeting at our home, this time bringing along ****. This interaction further highlighted Everdrys ongoing issues with miscommunication and dishonesty. ******* claimed he was informed of the meeting only the day before, yet we had scheduled it with **** a full week in advance. When we presented our text message correspondence as evidence, **** finally admitted that he had failed to communicate the appointment to *******. Until confronted with proof, **** was content to be deceptive. Instead of addressing this clear issue of dishonesty, ******* chastised us for "degrading" ****. We were not degrading anyonewe were simply presenting evidence of the ongoing deceit within Everdrys operations.Despite these concerns, ******* remained focused on securing our authorization for continued work, which we believe served two purposes: (1) to extract additional payments from us and (2) to aid Everdry in regaining its BBB accreditation. Once again, we declined.Following ******** initial visit, my husband discovered that the pipes Everdry installed in our basement were not even connectedmeaning any drainage system was ineffective, causing water to spread throughout our basement living area. Given these glaring issues, we firmly refused ******** offer to complete the job. At no point did he offer any form of compensation or discount for Everdrys repeated failures, our time off work, and damage to the home. Instead, he repeatedly emphasized the companys expenses related to the project. When we stood firm in our decision, ******* resorted to threats of arbitration and placing a lien on our homedemonstrating yet again the companys aggressive and unprofessional ********** is important to note that more than 75 complaints against Everdry have been filed with the *****************************, underscoring the widespread dissatisfaction among homeowners. Many customers have invested their life savings, retirement funds, or even gone into debt to pay for a service that was supposed to protect their homes from water damage and mold. Instead, they are left chasing Everdry for accountability, often met with silence or resistance.Given these ongoing concerns, we urge the BBB to continue withholding accreditation from Everdry. Ohio homeowners deserve better.

We were able to meet with the ******** 3/25/25 at 5pm, we discussed resolutions and agreed to complete any services needed to satisfy the homeowner. The work to be completed was to repour their driveway where service work was completed. It was in a previous agreement that Everdry would remove the driveway to service those areas covered by the driveway and the customer was to repour at their expense, ******************** agreed to repour their driveway at our expense to help with satisfying the ********. The second service discussed was to reroute their discharge line under their sidewalk to the street, we also stated that we would like to add an additional service to reinforce their foundation with an epoxy injection into a crack on the inside of the foundation that was previously sealed on the exterior of their home. Within the meeting it was brought to my attention that Mr. ****** had removed the concrete in an area that Everdry serviced to find that there was a section where that pipe was not connected, this area is what we would call a high point and is exactable to be done if there is an area that is obstructing any service work to be performed. With the mention of this particular area, I agreed to reinsure that the system was working, and we would flow test the system to make sure there were no other areas that would need any additional service. Mr. ****** and Mrs. ****** stated that they did not want to peruse a resolution with Everdry, I feel that we have attempted to agree and help the Murphys home with a very reasonable resolution to address all of their concerns.Customer Answer

We have paid Everdry a total of $12,137.50. April 4, 2025 my daughter went down in the basement to discover we had water leaking into the house from the rain we had the night before. This further confirms the several attenpts of Everdry coming out to do a job they were hired to do was not done. Our house is worse off than before they touched our home. The riped the down spouts away from our home so we have to attach them at our cost. Everdry empolyees repoved schedule 40 that our downspouts when into and placed a cheaper material that our down spouts are barely in as they were cut too short. Our mini split that was ran into our downspout was placed on the ground to leak and having the drainage be stangant/leak down into the foundation. We can not risk having the comapny come into our home and further damaging our home as they have done this far causing us further finacial burden that they have thus far. Not to mention the many other homes and families they have vicitmizes to their scam of lying about the work Everdry does not do, causing further damage to homes and further finacially burdening with cost that would not of been needed had they of not came in and done damage. Everdry does not do work they cause destruction.Business Response

Subject: Re: BBB complaint 22956857
To: ***** ***** <***********************************************************************************>*****.We have decided to go in another direction with the Murphys, I know the client has listed below that they are still having issues within their basement. After our last meeting the Murphys stated that they would like to part ways with Everdry as they were not in agreement with myself or the company and the options we provided to come to a resolution. The Customer was able to have all of the amounts paid reversed from our accounts, there for we as a company have not been paid any monies for any of the work that was provided by Everdry. The Murphys requested Everdry to part ways and they would like to hire their brother-in-law to do the repair work needed; after discussing this with our legal counsel we agreed to separate from the customer with no monies owed for the repairs. Our legal team is drafting a document for the separation of the Murphys and Everdry. We plan to provide the Murphys with the said document this coming week, per their request. I do not feel that arbitration will be needed based upon the Murphys request and Everdry agreeing to the request. Please also note that the some of the work that had been done by Everdry was undone by Mr. ****** and learned at the time of the last meeting, which may conclude to why there may be water in their basement.Respectfully******* JaquesGeneral ManagerEverdry WaterproofingColumbus, *********;Initial Complaint

I had Everdry waterproof my basement, and it has been a disaster. After they finished the job, I had the following issues.
1. My basement flooded with toilet paper and poop. I had ********** come, but the main sewage line was obstructed by gravel and concrete. The basement had to be sanitized. I paid for the service, and Everday was to reimburse me.
2. II asked foI asked for an itemized receipt for the work. The gravel truck they used cracked my driveway because of its weight. I was told I could not get a receipt until I authorized the financing. The problem was that the driveway and plumbing reimbursement was included in the bill . The financing company removed the charges but I was not reimbursed.
3. The sump pump was not connected properly and flooded my basement. Everdry replaced the parts because the PVC pipe was not glued properly and was cut too short. The motor burned out and needs to be replaced.Business Response
