We contracted with Everdry on February 6, 2024 to waterproof our basement with their multi step system. The job began on March 11. Nothing was mentioned ahead of time about moving our water heater. When they started, they mentioned they could not put the Durashield product behind the water heater and could not trench without the water heater being moved not having any prior notice we did not have a plumber scheduled to do this, so they left that area, not covered and not trenched the brochure shows Durashield going from floor to ceiling on all unfinished basement walls are door shield only goes up about halfway. They completed the job in two days since the completion of the project we have now had water in our basement three times the side of the basement that continues to get wet does not look much better than before the job is done , we have to use a fan to dry the floor. It takes approximately 24 hours to complete. They did come to try to fix that side once but it really did not help. It’s not just stamp we have standing water moisture also comes up through the cracks in the basement floor the brochure states that all floor cracks would be repaired they were not! We called to let them know that we had a plumber lined up to remove the water heater so they could complete the project. They told us it would be the second week in July before they could get us. We are closing on the sale of our home on May 31 we had this job done to increase the value of our home. I feel we are being penalized because we didn’t have the water heater moved. I feel that’s poor customer service to put our job repair off in order to continue to schedule new work. This is not the job or the experience that we expected.Business Response

The customer was advised that the hot water tank would need to be disconnected and moved away from the subject wall. When our crew arrived to perform the necessary work on April 10, 2024, the tank had not been moved, thus the work could not be performed at that time. The homeowners acknowledged at that time that a subsequent service date would be necessary. Due to an unusually wet spring and our company’s busy season, the follow-up work had to be scheduled in July 2024. The delay was not due to our company performing new work or as a punishment for not having the hot water tank disconnected. It was necessitated by a particularly busy schedule for our company.
Despite this, based upon the looming deadline for the sale of their home, our Production Manager has left a voicemail message for the customer earlier today at approximately 8:35 am to discuss possible work dates prior to May 31, 2024. This necessitated our company rescheduling several other projects in an effort help our customer. We are awaiting response from the homeowners.

EverDry Waterproofing installed a waterproofing system in this customer’s home in August 2023. At that time, the homeowner indicated she was satisfied with the work and the subsequent clean-up. Our company returned to her home in September 2023 to correct a minor problem with the alarm system on the battery back-up unit for the sump pump. Since that time, our company has received no contact from the complainant about any outstanding issues until the filing of this Complaint. The subject warranty remains in full force and effect and our company will reach out to her and schedule an inspection to address her concerns.Customer Answer

We hired Everdry Columbus to complete waterproofing and foundation repair in the basement of our home. The project was supposed to be completed in November 2023. Everdry’s first crew did a sloppy job that cut corners in multiple ways and ultimately failed to fix either our foundation or water intrusion problems.
Now 5 months later, we have called Everdry back out to our home numerous times after already paying them a significant amount of money (over $30,000). Since the start of this project, Everdry has repeatedly not scheduled a sufficient amount of days, not sent enough workers, and/or not sent the correct supplies. Each time, this has caused us to cancel, reschedule, and extend the project beyond what was originally promised. Each time, the work done has not been sufficient to fully address our foundation and water intrusion issues.
Currently, Everdry is in the process of completely redoing their original botched job and, midway into this 4-day follow up project, has once again cancelled and rescheduled a large portion of their work. Each time this happens we as the homeowners need to adjust our work schedules and personal lives to accommodate Everdry’s ongoing delays. As a result of Everdry’s failure to complete the work they’ve been paid to do, we have now lost the use and enjoyment of a large portion of our home for nearly half a year. We’ve never been so frustrated and disappointed with a company. Also, we recently found that our local NBC4 did a story in 2023 on customers who have made similar complaints about the poor quality of Everdry’s work. Follow-up service for this customer began on April 25, 2024 and is ongoing as of the filing of this response. Additionally, the customer has alleged that our company damaged either their water meter, primary water line or both (an allegation that we categorically deny and the recent repairs reveal no water in that area of the foundation). Despite this, we have agreed to have the City of Columbus come to the subject property and perform an inspection of these systems, and if damage is found, we will reimburse the homeowner for the subject repairs. The earliest the City of Columbus can come to the property is May 8, 2024, at which time the inspection shall be performed. Additionally, as a good-faith attempt to satisfy our customer, EverDry has agreed to warrant steel beams previously installed in the home by another company, a gesture that is neither owed by us nor has been paid for by the owners.Customer Answer

We reject Everdry’s response for the following reasons. As the homeowners, we are not experts in how to resolve water intrusion or foundation issues. In hiring Everdry, we relied on their expertise to accomplish these goals. Unfortunately, Everdry’s initial work failed to fix either the foundation or water intrusion issues in our basement. Indeed, Everdry’s staff have since pointed out numerous examples of their own company protocol not being followed in our home’s initial repair work.
During a 4/4/24 follow-up assessment (the latest of several), Everdry’s representative confirmed that additional work was needed in the basement corner where the water meter is located to abate water intrusion and stabilize the foundation, and he confirmed that moving/replacing the water meter was a necessary component of this work. Everdry should have included the water meter repair in their original plan and was negligent in not doing so. That being said, we are happy that Everdry is now including the water meter as part of their foundation repair solution (albeit 6 months late).
For reference, I am including pictures from 4/2/24 where water is seeping through the wall in the area immediately surrounding the water meter. Obviously, Everdry’s initial work failed to fix what we hired them to fix. We emphasize that Everdry is not doing us an extra favor (as they seem to contend) by now completing a component of their work that should have been done as part of their initial plan.
Regarding the steel support beams on the walls, Everdry needed to remove and reposition our existing beams as part of their ongoing redo of the interior drainage system. Since Everdry is the party who has now re-secured the beams in place, their including the beams in the warranty is not an extra “gesture of good faith” but rather the bare minimum that one should expect any reputable company to do.
We appreciate Everdry’s ongoing efforts to now complete the job that was scheduled to be completed in November 2023. However, the length of time it took for this to happen was both unreasonable and highly burdensome to us.
Due to Everdry’s repeated and unnecessary delays, we have sacrificed the use and enjoyment of our basement—a living space that makes up approximately half our home—for nearly six months. Furthermore, Everdry’s negligence in not properly and fully completing the job the first time around has led to numerous subsequent visits to completely redo our interior drainage system and re-excavate around the exterior of our home. These invasive projects in our home have required us to significantly rearrange our work schedules and personal lives to accommodate additional and repeated work that should not have been necessary.
As a result of the hardship we have faced due to Everdry’s negligence, we will be submitting a request for additional compensation to Everdry following their satisfactory completion of the current job. We request that this complaint remain open until further notice.Initial Complaint

Our initial transaction with Everdry Waterproofing took place in August 2019, but this is an ongoing contract with them that they are obligated to abide by. We have been very patient with the amount of time we have given them to make things right. We were promised superior, timely, and professional service but have not experienced any of that in this business transaction over the course of this contract. Everdry was contracted to provide us with a Multi-Step System which included full waterproofing of our crawl space and basement, as well as full replacement of the inside and outside drainage systems. Our crawl space does not look professionally done and looks nothing like what was promised to us. Water issues in our basement are still continually apparent to this day. The outside drainage has been dug up several times since the initial contract and still has not been fixed to function as promised. We just want from the company what was promised to us or reimbursed the funds to hire someone to do the job correctly.Business Response

Our company originally had service scheduled for *** and ********************* on May 23, 2024. However, we were able to rearrange our service schedule to perform the repairs on May 9, 2024 and May 10, 2024, dates that were agreed upon by the homeowners. EverDry has maintained consistent communication with the customers, even as recently as last night, and believes the scheduled work will resolve the issues reported by the complainants. Additionally, our ***************** Manager will reach out and schedule a meeting with the homeowners to further discuss the matter.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
The initial date we agreed upon for Everdry to come out again was 6/11/24 and 6/12/24, not 5/23/24 as stated in their response message. They did, however, manage to move up the date to 5/9/24 and 5/10/24. This being said, it is not possible at this time to "accept their reponse" within 7 days without the work being completed yet. We would prefer the complaint remain open until Everdry has completely fulfilled their obligations.Regards,

Our initial complaint still has not been resolved. Everdry has been out twice since our last contact with BBB. Each time they were out to the house there was another reason given the job was not able to be completed (they also left the side of our house with mud and tar that was not cleaned off. It looks like an attempt was made to scrub in one area and they removed the color off the siding we just had installed in 2017). Our frustration with this situation seems to be endless. We have diligently been in contact by phone/text msg with the *************** Manager, ***************, who has been informed of the whole situation and been given all our concerns/complaints with this service. *** assured us the issues would be addressed and taken care of. Everdry has now scheduled to come out on Saturday, June 1, 2024 to take care of the crawl space encapsulation they did incorrectly, but they are telling us the outside drain issue will not be addressed again for 4-6 weeks. We are currently waiting to see what happens on June 1st.Customer Answer

Everdry still has to contact us with a date for them to come out to hook up the downspout system and complete the french drain, as well as correcting and completing the crawlspace leveling and waterproofing. The last contact was on Monday, June 10th when two guys (**** and *****) came out to look at the current state of our crawl space and they specifically stated that they were "embarrassed of the condition the previous crew left it and of the poor quality of the work that was done". They said there was at least 3-4 more days of work to do, and someone would be contacting us to schedule when they would be out to complete the work. We have not been contacted by anyone from Everdry, thus far. Therefore, this work still has not been completed.Business Response

Complaint: 21602224
We are rejecting this response because: the work has not currently been completed satisfactory. ******* has sent a text to **** at Everdry to confirm the dates of 7/15-7/18. We would also like to make the company aware of how difficult it is to have to keep scheduling these multiple day appointments over and over again, when we have work schedules of our own to juggle. We have had to use up our vacation time to be home when they've come out on all the previous visits.

Complaint: 21602224
We are rejecting this response because:The work is STILL not completed. A call was supposed to be made to us to let us know what time a crew was to come out on 7/15/24 and one was never received. ******* took the week off work to be here to let the crew into our house to start on, what we were told previously, would be at least a 4-day process to complete.
Day 1-July 15, 2024 (Mon)- The "crew" (which was 2 guys) showed up at 8:30am. The equipment they showed up with was 3 buckets and 1 shovel. The 2-guy crew worked in the crawl space from 9:00am-10:45am. In this 1hr and 45min timeframe they only managed to remove 3 (not even full) buckets of dirt. At 10:50am, one of the guys let ******* know they were going to leave to take their lunch break- they never came back. ******* reached out by phone call and text message to the supervisor ****, and the ***************** Manager *************** to request a call back so he could inform them what had happened. **** nor *** replied back.
Day 2- July 16, 2024 (Tues)- Still no response from **** or ***. Crew (3 guys) arrived at 7:48am. One of the 3 guys was the *******, ******. ****** informed ******* the 2 guys that were here on Day 1 had quit. The first hour they were here ****** was going back and forth with phone calls to his boss (we believe his name is ****). The crew removed all the work that was done back in May. At 9:45am they said they were going to have to leave to get a light to see better in the crawl space (shouldn't this be one of the basic equipment items expected to be included for the job when working in a dark crawlspace area??) and then take their lunch break. The crew returned at 10:45am and worked on removing more dirt from the crawl space. At 2:45pm they cleaned up a bit and were done for the day.
Day 3- July 17, 2024 (Wed)- Still no response from **** or ***. At 8am the same crew of 3 guys from 7/16/24 and 7/17/24 showed up. They worked up until 10:45am then left for their lunch break. Returned at 12:17pm but no work was being done because they said they were waiting on more guys to show up. Another crew of 4 or 5 guys showed up. There was discussion between them about the job/work to be done, one guy then got a suit on to go into the crawl space. There was nothing communicated to ******* as to the progress of where they were at in the timeline of completion. At 2:40pm the crew left for the day.
Day 4- July 18, 2024 (Thur)- ******* was notified by text from the ******* Dakota, that they were not going to be here today until 12:00pm. ******* waited. Crew was a no-show at 12pm. At 1:05pm ******* received a text message from ****** stating that they would not be coming out at all today because one of them had a family emergency and they were also struggling to find a sled for the buckets of dirt they needed to remove. No work was done at all this day.
Day 5- July 19, 2024 *********** of 4 showed up at 8am. ****** notified us that *************** (***************** Manager) had quit and that he is no longer with Everdry. Still no response back to previous messages left for ****. The crew removed a few more buckets of dirt from the crawl space, but that was all the work that was done today. ****** notified ******* that there should be support posts under the beams in the crawl space (why was this not noticed or mentioned to us before?) and they would have to be installed but they would need time to locate them and buy them before they come back, install, and complete the work on the crawl space. He said they could do this over the next 3 Saturdays (7/20/24, 7/27/24, 8/3/24). 7/20 would be installing the posts, 7/27 would be strictly hauling out dirt, 8/3 would be doing the encapsulating. It still has not even been mentioned to us when the outside downspout situation (hooked back up underground) is supposed to be fixed and completed as promised.
You can see how this situation has been so stressful and frustrating for us. This is 5 more wasted days to be home for this company and they have accomplished hardly anything. We feel that we are just being put off and the work is never going to get completed. At this point, we would prefer to be compensated for the money we lost on the project so we are able to hire someone else that can get the job done.

It was stated in earlier communications that this work was scheduled to be done and completed 7/15/24-7/18/24. It was not. It was also stated in previous communications that the crew would then be out on Saturdays (7/20/24, 7/27/24, 7/29/24, 8/03/24) to complete the work. It was not. It is now 08/10/2024 and the work is still not complete.
7/20/24- This Saturday was the day support posts were to be installed in the crawl space. ******* received a text message from ****** (crew worker) that they could not find the posts to purchase that they needed to install so they would not be coming to do any work.
7/27/24- This Saturday was the day the crew was to be hauling out all the dirt from the crawl space. We received no communication since the previous Saturday (7/20) text message from ******. No crew from Everdry showed up to our home to do any work. ******* called and left a voicemail for the supervisor ****, as well as a text message, to please call him back to discuss what had happened.
7/29/24- ******* received a text message from **** asking for a good day and time for him to call us to discuss the situation. ******* replied to this text that Tuesday 7/30 at 4pm would work best for us. No response was sent back from ****. No call was made to us on 7/30 at 4pm. No other communication has been received to this day.
8/03/24- This is the Saturday the encapsulation was to be completed, and clean-up was to take place. ****** and 2 other guys showed up at 8:30am. There was no explanation from them as to why they did not show up on Saturday 7/27. They installed 2 support posts in the crawl space. At 10:45am they said they had to let the cement dry at the base of the posts before they can come back to haul dirt out. ****** said they would be back out on Saturday 8/10.
8/10/24- Dakota called ******* this morning at 7:52am and said he was the only one that showed up to the shop and there was no supervisor or ******* there. He said there was no crew to come out to do any work today.
As you can see, another 4 Saturdays scheduled for work and they were only here 2 of the 4 days with barely anything getting accomplished. We have put up with this constant charade for way longer than we should've. It is obvious from all the previous failed attempts to complete this project that it is not going to be completed by your business. We've wasted enough of our time and have suffered great frustration through this whole ordeal. We want a full refund to hire another professional that is competent and stands behind their work.

Everdry does understand the frustration from the consumer. We are truly truly sorry for the experience thus far. We do ask that the consumer understands the extent of work that has to go into this project. We are spending alot of money and are having staff work on days that we are not even open to finish this project for them and to accomodate the consumers schedule. The reason for the length of the project is because we are limited to 1 day a week to accomplish this work. The week we did have multiple days on the project the crew discovered it was an unsafe environment and Everdry went ahead and supported the crawlspace free of charge with adjustment posts to be able to continue the work. Everdry still plans on coming out this Saturday 08/24/24 to complete the project.Customer Answer

Complaint: 21602224
I am rejecting this response because:Everdry DID NOT complete the job again today, as promised in the previous response letter to this case with BBB. In response to the previous reply (as to whom, we have no idea because they did not deem it necessary to include a name on the response), we were made clear of the extent of the work at the beginning of this contract (AUG 2019) and told it was a 4-5-day project. We should not even have to be dealing with this project still needing to be completed 5 years later. The money you say Everdry is having to spend on this project, as well as having to staff on days you are not open, unfortunately is not of our concern because this should have been taken care of long ago. If it had been, this would not be an issue now. ******* and I have had to give up yet another Saturday to be here at home for Everdry to come out, with the understanding that this job was going to be COMPLETED- this is what was said in the previous response. We have given up our days off and vacation days with our jobs to be home for this, we have no more left to take. Also, there was never any mention to us in any previous conversations or visits (before the one where this was mentioned to us by ******) that our crawlspace was an "unsafe environment" for the crew to work in OR that adjustable supports were needed. If this was an issue, why were we not made aware of it before when the initial project was contracted? It seems to us that this would've been something that is obviously noticeable and mentioned from the start, right?
Today the crew of 4 guys showed up at 10:39 a.m. I spoke to the ******* Dakota, to confirm that ALL work was going to be completed today. He told me that the supervisor **** told him all they were doing today was excavating and that is it. What about the encapsulating? What about the outside drainage? and how about cleaning up after themselves? ******* had to actually ask them to lay something down on the floor, so they weren't tracking dirt in and out when taking the buckets outside. Are you aware that all the Dura-shield paneling around the outside of the crawlspace area is covered in dirt and grime from their hands and feet and doesn't even look like it's just been installed recently? or that they've left their supplies/trash in our crawlspace. Also, why do they always show up without the needed equipment for a job they know they need to do?
I have attached files to show what was contracted and expected from Everdry, as well as an estimate from another basement professional on what it would cost for us to have the crawlspace completed correctly. This estimate is for the crawlspace ONLY and does not include the outside drainage that still needs addressed. This basement professional stated that there is no reason this job should not be completed within 2 days, tops! The 2 days would also include the outside drainage at an additional cost (which can be obtained). Everdry has failed again and again, on following through and just needs to admit to their incompetence in completing this project. We will accept reimbursement for the amount of the estimate provided + the cost of the outside drainage, and nothing less. We are ready to take further action, if needed.

It is now 09/09/24 and our basement work is still incomplete/unsatisfactory.
****** sent a text message to ******* the morning of 9/6/24 asking if they could come out Saturday 9/7/24 to finish the crawl space (no mention of anything else getting done). ******* responded with "we need to know if the whole job is going to be completed inside and outside and cleaning of areas?" He was then told it depends on how many people they will give him (Dakota) to come out. ******* told him that's up to Everdry to figure out. ****** then told him they would be out the next morning Saturday 9/7/24 between 8-9am and the work would be finished.
******* and I were here waiting for Everdry to come when he received a phone call from Dakota saying they would now NOT be coming out because there were only 2 guys available to work. That was the end of the conversation. No work done again, when promised.

We did not want for this complaint to be closed. Everdry did not show up to do the work until Saturday 9/14 so we were waiting to respond to BBB until after that. They say all work has been completed but there has been no other contact yet from the supervisor to come out to check on the work that's been done. We did notice that there is some fast food trash left in the crawlspace that can be seen from the entrance way and we have no idea if they covered up more underneath the encapsulation material they laid down in there. We would like a supervisor or someone in charge of Quality Control to come out and approve this work.Customer Answer

We are still awaiting a response from Everdry in regards to a Supervisor/QA manager coming out to check on the quality of work. No contact has been made since the crew was out last.Customer Answer

10/07/2024- We have yet to receive a response or any communication from Everdry since the last crew left, in regard to our request to have someone come out that is in charge of ***************** to inspect the work that has been done to our crawl space.Business Response

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our office will be reaching out this morning to set up a time for our ***************** Specialist to come and inspect the work that was completed at your earliest convenience. We look forward to working with you!Customer Answer
Date: 10/11/2024
Everdry sent **** from QA out this morning to inspect the work done by the previous crew. Our concerns were expressed to him in regard to the finished crawlspace. We are disappointed that the floor of the crawlspace was never completely leveled out (as we were led to believe in the beginning of this agreement with Everdry and would be the end result when the job was completed). It was stated in his opinion, this is the best that can be done with this "unique situation". On this matter, we feel we were misled and being forced to have to accept it as it is.
There were other details requested to be addressed- the Durashield installed needs cleaned and wiped down from the crew entering and exiting the crawlspace area, we were also told (by the previous QA *** ****) that a moisture barrier white sealant would be applied to the east wall where there are still moisture stains present, the outside drainage pipes were connected underground as requested but the hole that was put in the siding of the house is not a clean cut and the finished sealant job is messy-we requested this to be cleaned up and have some kind of cover plate installed over the pipes where they exit the siding, the ground against the house on the west side where they dug to install the underground drainage lines has sunken in and more topsoil needs added to the area. **** said these issues would be presented to the office and someone would be in touch in regard to getting these requests resolved.

10/16/24- **** from Everdry came to the house to complete the work order but did not come with the necessary tools/equipment/supplies to complete them. He did attempt to spend about 5 min trying to wipe down the panels that were muddied up from the guys entering and exiting when the crawl space was worked on. It was also made clear to him that the piece that was attached on the outside of the house was not what was descibed to **** when he was out the previous week and is unacceptable...it looks like a metal/chrome piece that would go around a bathroom fixture, not a cover plate for the outside of a house. He then wrote up another work order for the incomplete jobs (basement wall sealant, outside cover plate and adhesive clean up around pipes) and said someone from the office would call to schedule yet another visit to complete.Customer Answer

***** from Everdry came out on Friday 11/1 to complete the work in the basement that was requested. We were asked to provide contact information for the company we had our siding installed by so they could try to obtain a cover plate for the pipes on the outside of the house. We are currently waiting to hear back from them to take care of this issue.Business Response

We have been trying to contact the consumer to find out if they would like to outsource the siding issue or have us fix the issue ourselves since it is outside the scope of our work. We remain ready and willing to resolve this with them. We just need communication.Customer Answer
Date: 12/08/2024
We screen our calls due to a lot of unwanted ones that come through. If Everdry has tried to contact us , there has been no messages left on voicemail to make us aware. Also, the last person that was out asked us for the information regarding the siding and all information was provided to them..including a name, phone number and the name/ type of siding. It would be good communication and very helpful if a message were left.Customer Answer

I don't understand why we are getting a message from BBB saying a response was not received from us...the communication history clearly shows a response was made on 12/8/2024. We are currently waiting for Everdry to contact us in regards to the remaining work. A voicemail message or even a text from Everdry has not been received by myself or *******.Business Response

EverDry Waterproofing of Columbus quoted me $20,000 to waterproof my basement.
I gave them a $100 check deposit & signed a contract . They cashed the $100 check.
I then waited to find out if they approved my financing.
They only approved me for $12,000 in financing. I told them I could not come up with the $8,000. I said I wanted to cancel my contract & asked for the $100 back. They said it would take a few weeks . That was OK., but it has been since 10-24-23 & I still have not received the $100 back. I have called twice . Once on 12-20-23 left a VM & did not get a call back. I also called again this morning & had to leave another VM.
A man who came out to have me sign was cancelling my contract. He tried to talk me into having work done for $12,000. All of a sudden he said they could do the complete work now for $12,000. This does not sound right. If they could do it now for $12,000 why not that when they first came out?Business Response

I am lodging this complaint regarding the unethical business practices exhibited by Everdry Waterproofing. On October 20, 2023, I contacted Everdry Waterproofing for what I believed would be a simple estimate. The company had persistently reached out to me, offering a free estimate, and due to a specific situation concerning my future plans, I decided to have them assess my basement.
To clarify, my intention was solely to acquire an estimate in order to gain an understanding of the issue at hand. I wanted to identify the necessary steps to ensure a dry basement, as well as create a healthy environment suitable for a potential rental family. An inspector named Clayton D***** was assigned to inspect my property.
During the initial assessment, Mr. D**** gathered some basic information and proceeded to ask me a series of questions. In response, I mentioned my plans of relocating to Europe. I believed that sharing this information would aid him in accurately assessing the situation and recommending the appropriate remedies.
However, to my dismay, I soon discovered that Everdry Waterproofing had manipulated my situation for their own gain. Instead of providing an honest estimate, they took advantage of my vulnerability and attempted to exploit my plans of moving overseas. Their actions displayed a clear disregard for ethical business practices.
I am deeply disappointed by this incident and expect Everdry Waterproofing to rectify the situation promptly. It is imperative that they provide me with an honest estimate, taking into consideration the true needs of my basement and ensuring the safety and well-being of any future occupants.
I strongly urge Everdry Waterproofing to reevaluate their business practices and uphold the values of integrity and transparency.

In process of repairing crawl space leak a new fitting was installed on the sump. In the process a line was disconnected causing water to spray into basement. 2 weeks of phone calls and messages and they will not return callsBusiness Response

Our company has previously provided waterproofing services at the listed address but have no knowledge as to who the listed complainant is. He is not our customer nor is he the owner of the subject property. Our Production Manager spoke with our actual customer and owner of the property, who advised the complainant is her friend. Our office has no record of receiving any phone call from our customer in relation to the reported issues but learned that she was attempting to contact a former employee directly, hence the lack of a return telephone call from our office. Based upon this most recent telephone conversation, a follow-up inspection and corrective repairs (if necessary) will occur within the next week. Our customer is agreeable to that proposed plan of action.Initial Complaint

Everdry started this project on May 30th. It is August 21st. and it's still not completed. I have sent them pictures, and the Manager came out and PROMISED me the work would be done in two weeks. IT WAS NOT, IS NOT! Now one of the sump pumps piping came apart and the water was just cycling in the sump. I had to turn it off. The water was very Hot from cycling. I sent them pictures and said to call me ASAP, I still have not heard from Everdry. This was supposed to be a week, week and a half project. I don't understand why this has not been completed... then I realized why.. "I had paid them in full." If I had not paid them in full, they would have had to complete the job, before they got paid. There are still issues that need completed. I am very frustrated with the lack of respect for my Wife and I. And the complete disregard for a paying customer. This was an easy job, the concrete had been removed before and someone attempted to do what everdry does. The crew did not dig down far enough on the outside of the house, and they had to come out and do it again, and they did not finish the job. I want to be compensated for the time wasted by my Wife and I for having to be there over and over again. I want Half of my money back, and I want a NEW sump pump, and battery system, and the visqueen and Tar to complete the walls myself. So I know it is done and not half way completed by employee's who are upset because they have to complete something their fellow workers did not. There is Tar on my siding, and they went one block to high with the tar on an 8 foot section of the wall. Right where everyone can see it. This is very frustrating. This work may be physically hard, but the lack of a checklist for the employees to follow is beyond belief, I explained this to the Manager that came out, and he agreed with my thoughts. Why can't I get any respect from this company ??Business Response

On April 30, 2022 we got quoted $17,628 to do work on our basement. The quote included doing a sub pump, putting special coating on the outside wall of the basement, and a special wrap on the inside. Because of our basement design, they could not do what was quoted for the outside, or the inside only the sub pump. While they were doing the installation to gentleman from the organization, got into a verbal argument to where my neighbor almost called the police on them. They were late several times, and did not respond when called upon. When the service was done, they still charge me the same price, even though I did not get the service that was agreed-upon at the beginning. They would not change the price, and told me the only discount they would give me was there a $75 a year service plan since the completion of my basement, they have been out several times because there is still water leaking in my basement. The work is not complete and they will not come back out to fix it. I’m looking for some sort of a refund on what I paid, or for them to come out and right the situation.Business Response
