I am writing this on behalf of my family member. He was denied move in for health reasons he did not disclose . He paid fees $55 app (3 ppl ) and $275 holding fee all on Jan 3,2024. Lena gave paperwork saying move in date Jan 16,2024 almost $7400. My family member had help from a business to pay for the move in “ Golden Rainbow “ when they contacted management to get the information Sara I believe her name was , was extremely rude and stated she did not have to give out there information if they did not want too, and that it was up to them to accept the help from this specific business that helps people with certain health conditions . She proceeded to say why didn’t he tell them he was going to get help from someone . What does it matter and where by law does a person have to tell you about their specific health . Once they found out what the actual company was that was helping my family member with the move in and deposit fees they discriminated against him which is not right or lawfully right . My family member works and submitted pay stubs as well but it’s not his fault he has underlined health issues and businesses who help certain people . Then she proceeded to say maybe try another one of our communities because it’s up to each persons discretion since they are privately owned . It was disgusting how they acted like my family member had cooties . We will continue to reach out for help because we know his rights was definitely violated .
