1 starFlagship Fantasy Resorts - Deceptive Sales Practices and Broken Promises My wife and I attended what was marketed as an "informational seminar" in *************, promised a complimentary tablet. Instead, we endured hours of high-pressure sales tactics and outright lies. False Promises Made: We were told we could book flexible weekend stays for $189, which doesn't exist. They promised access to Eastern Seaboard properties for business travel that are unavailable. We were assured of significant savings on work travel, which proved completely false. They claimed we could split vacation weeks, which isn't possible as promised. Critical Information Hidden: We were never told that our children and heirs would be forced to inherit this timeshare burden. Interest rates were never disclosed during the sales process. Special assessment fees weren't mentioned, nor were the severe usage limitations we later discovered. Reality vs. Sales Pitch: Despite extensive business travel needs, we've used this timeshare only ONCE for two days out of what should have been numerous opportunities. Persistent booking issues make it essentially unusable. We specifically asked detailed questions about supporting our travel-heavy lifestyle. Every assurance was either inaccurate or intentionally misleading, including statements made by the contract administrator during signing. Bottom Line: The product we were sold simply doesn't exist. No flexibility, accessibility, or cost savings as promised. This timeshare has become a significant financial burden serving no functional purpose. We're seeking immediate contract cancellation due to material misrepresentations and deceptive practices. Consider this a warning to others considering Flagship Fantasy Resorts. Recommendation: AVOID THIS COMPANY!Review fromDeborah B

1 starI am a senior citizen with a disability from a bad accident in 2019. I have trouble understanding complicated things and have a lawyer to make legal choices for me. But Flagship promised me a nice room with a jacuzzi, kitchen, and ocean view. When I got there, they could not find my reservation for an hour. The room had no jacuzzi like they promised. The pool was closed the whole time. There was no restaurant so we had to eat somewhere else every day. The worst part was the meeting. They kept me 4 hours. I told them I have a Power of Attorney because of my accident and cannot make legal decisions by myself. They did not care and kept pushing me to sign anyway. The salesman ***** and a rude woman kept lowering prices and pressuring me. They told me the interest would be 4.90% but the contract said *****%. I dont understand the maintenance fees. When I said I could not afford it because I am on a fixed income, they just kept pushing. They made me use my credit card. I have been paying every month. I had to cancel my credit card because I could not afford it anymore. They took advantage of me, a disabled senior citizen and ignored my Power of Attorney. This is wrong and they should not be allowed to do this to people like me.Review fromCLAUDIA H

1 starThe sales representatives at Flagship Resorts, explicitly told us that the plan we were purchasing would allow us access to hotels all over the world. But during a follow-up visit for a complementary three-day/two-night stay, we were informed that our plan was only valid for Atlantic City properties. This was a complete contradiction to what was originally presented to us. When we raised this issue, the sales team attempted to shift the blame onto the original presenter, claiming he had misinformed us. Yet they acknowledged that this individual had been with the company for over five years, making it difficult to believe this was an innocent mistake or isolated event. We were also asked whether we had children, and upon providing that information, we were encouraged to list them on the contract under the impression it would simply allow them to use the property. We were never told this would make them legally responsible for the timeshare in the event something happened to us. This is another example of deceitful tactics used to manipulate our decision-making as we would never place this kind of burden on our children.Given the repeated misrepresentations and coercion, we consider this contract to have been entered into under false pretenses. We owe them NOTHING.Review fromDeanna P

1 starIn 2020, after being an owner with Fantasea Resorts, I was contacted again and persuaded to attend another presentation, this time under the promise of learning about a new, improved program. I was told there would be no more maintenance fees, no off-peak restrictions, and easier booking with more access. I made it clear that I could no longer afford the timeshare and did not find it useful. I was again assured things had changedbut they had not. I was convinced to upgrade my membership under false pretenses, and now I am left with the same unusable timeshare but with higher fees and even more financial strain.I now understand that I was misled from the very beginning. I was manipulated into making a significant lifelong commitment that has proven to be the worst financial decision of my life. I was never informed that this burden could potentially be passed down to my daughter, which I find especially distressing as I dont want to risk ruining her financial future. Over the years, Ive only been able to use the timeshare a handful of times but only for two-day visits and never during peak or warm-weather seasons due to limited availability. I was sold an off-peak week that proved nearly impossible to use. My maintenance fees have continually increased, and the promised value has never materialized. I feel trapped by the contract and continued to pay solely to avoid damaging my credit.Review fromCarl T

1 starIn January 2022, my wife booked a stay at the Flagship Resort in Atlantic, unaware that the discounted rate required attending a mandatory sales presentation, we were subjected to over four hours of high-pressure tactics. After repeatedly declining the offer, a closer came in and dropped the price of a one-bedroom unit from $21,000 to $16,000. We agreed, primarily based on assurances that ************* would provide flexible vacation options. We later discovered that *** bookings were restricted to full-week increments, limiting our ability to use the timeshare as described by the salespeople.**** website continued to be non-functional, and their customer support proved unhelpful. Despite owning the timeshare, we were forced to pay out-of-pocket for our subsequent stays at so-called owner discounted rates. Availability was consistently poor, with bookings limited to just 60 days in advance and rooms perpetually unavailable. Further compounding our dissatisfaction, our original sales agent had assured us that maintenance fees would remain flat for a minimum of five years, yet they have increased each year since our purchase. We were also told fees could be paid monthly, yet they are due in full annually. This entire experience has left us feeling misled and frustrated by false promises. We were deceived into purchasing a product that has proven to be both inaccessible and unreliable.Review fromVladimir V

1 starThis is a WARNING!!!! We were victims of deceptive sales practices by Flagship Resorts that have left us financially strained and frustrated. After purchasing a timeshare in 2017 that we were never able to use, we attended an "owners meeting" in February 2021 where we were subjected to high-pressure tactics to upgrade our package. The salesperson misrepresented the offer as a limited-time opportunity and failed to disclose critical information, including that we were purchasing points through a promissory note affecting our credit, that maintenance fees would increase by 8% annually, and that these obligations would continue in perpetuity, affecting our heirs.Despite our hesitation, supervisors applied additional pressure, even promising a complimentary two-night stay that was never honored when we tried to book it. Since upgrading, we've experienced higher mortgage payments, inability to book vacations, unreachable customer service, and a complicated booking process that requires calling during business hours when we're working. When we formally requested cancellation on April 5, 2025, detailing these deceptive practices, Flagship Resorts completely ignored our concerns. We warn others to avoid this company that uses unethical sales tactics and traps customers in perpetual financial obligations they can't use or escape.Review fromNATALIE A

1 starAfter paying off our $25,000 contract, my husband and I have received only 4 vacations hardly the robust value proposition we were sold. Our experience reveals a pattern of deceptive practices that have left us financially burdened. Our ordeal began years ago when I filled out a raffle card at **************, leading to our initial engagement with Flagship Resorts in 2006. While early stays were pleasant enough, the expectation that we would have consistent access to "our" unit quickly proved false. In 2021, we purchased a timeshare upgrade after a mandatory meeting. We were lured with promises of a points-based system allowing travel without constraints "all over the world." They explicitly assured us this upgrade would grant access to any Flagship location, including the coveted Boardwalk in *************. When we expressed that ************* wasn't our preferred investment location, we were told we could exchange for destinations worldwide, but Atlantic City timeshares have pitifully low trading power. We were never informed that the points system operated through a separate company requiring additional yearly fees, nor that an impractical number of points would be needed for any meaningful trip. The upgrade delivered only disappointmentsmaller, mold-scented rooms at the Boardwalk location and a closed pool at Flagship on multiple occasions. The sales process was manipulative and designed to obscure the truth. The presentation stretched 5-6 hours with three rotating salespeople pitching offer after offerwhich we declined 4-5 times. Yet when signing the 60-page contract, we were rushed through in just 30 minutesan absurdly inadequate window to comprehend such a complex document. When inquiring about cancellation, I was told it was impossible, only transferable to someone elsea burden I'd have to manage myself. No mention was made of escalating maintenance fees during sales, and when I raised financial hardship concerns, the best offer was a payment plan.Review fromAlike C

1 starOne of the reasons we decided to purchase Flagship Resorts was the idea of investing in real estate, AS WE WERE TOLD BY THEIR EMPLOYEES. We were repeatedly told that Atlantic City was going through a reimagining and within a few short years, the value of this real estate investment would go through the roof. Atlantic City will become like ********* and the ability to rent our timeshare would result in significant income that would help us pay for the loan and maintenance fees. However, there has been no reimagining of ************* as it is still in disrepair and if I cant book a reservation for my family, how in the world am I going to book a week for rental purposes? Everything we were told that was supposed to be a benefit of purchase has turned out to be flat out lies. Here we are six years later, and nothing has changed, nor do we believe ever will. I have called multiple times, but reaching someone on the phone is nearly impossible unless you are making payment. I have spent countless hours on hold, trying to speak with a representative. This entire experience has turned into a costly nightmare for us, and we are demanding to be released from this shameful contract; but they are impossible to reach. Avoid these people, once you are sucked in, you will never get any satisfaction from the purchase. This is NOT REAL ESTATE AND NOT AN INVESTMENT.Review fromBill A

1 starAvoid Boardwalk Resorts at All Costs My experience with Boardwalk Resorts has been that they are nothing but liars! One of my primary concerns before purchasing a timeshare was how to exit the agreement if needed. I specifically asked, "What happens if I decide I don't want it anymore, how do I get rid of it?" | was assured they would buy it back. However, once I was locked into the deal, it became clear this was not true !Here's what they conveniently failed to mention during the sales pitch: The maintenance fees go up every single year. When I questioned them about this, I was dismissed. Their response? "You should've read the papers." When I tried escalating my concerns, the salespersonwho claimed to be the supervisor-denied everything she had previously said. She accused me of lying and essentially told me I was stuck with the timeshare, even after fully paying it ****** make matters worse, we've never even been able to use the timeshare. Yet, they expect us to pay for it. I've called multiple times, left countless messages, and no one has had the decency to call me back. I eventually stopped making payments as there didn't seem to be another option, and they still refuse to cancel the agreement. This company is misleading, unreliable, and impossible to work with. DO NOT do business with Boardwalk Resorts. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewherethere's no transparency. honesty. or accountability here.Review fromRachel G

1 starThis company is absolutely deplorable. They lied to us not once but TWICE. Tricking us into signing a contract, stealing money from parents just trying to take their children on vacation. THEY LIED AND TOLD US WE COULD TAKE OUR KIDS TO ****** TWICE!!!! Knowing we couldnt and even asking us to fill out a complaint form from the first contract we signed saying the guy was wrong for lying to us then told us we had to wait for the new year to use the new contract !!! That was just to get us past the time of cancellation. As soon as the new year came and we tried to book ******, they told us the company hasnt had a contract with ****** for over a year which was before we originally signed. We have paid everything off for them and have never used it because we only bought it to take our kids to ******. Imagine what horrible and awful people take advantage of families like this! We asked for our money back and to cancel the contract only to be told we are out of the window now! Well of course we are, your company told us to wait!! STAY AWAY!!! I will be posting this everywhere!!! ********, ******, instagram etc for anyone who will listen to never listen to this company!!This should have an option for 0 stars because it doesnt deserve 1!
