    February 20th I was sent 3 letters (references: *******, *******, *******) detailing 3 open accounts (account numbers: *******, *******, *******).

The reason I am complaining here is because this business cannot be reached in any way.
The letters state the following methods of correspondence:
I supposedly can reach them by phone; yet I am unable to speak to anyone.
I can file a dispute the accounts electronically, except no email address is listed nor does their website actually have ANY options to dispute or even contact them about these accounts.

For a business to be this poorly reachable by phone or via the internet is outrageous; it's not the 90's anymore, we should be able to reach out to each other in a more timely and reliable manner than snail mail.

I have seen other complaints received direct communications from this business, I would like to know what number I can actually call to speak to someone.

The accounts themselves have been settled with the original creditor and I have attached the receipt to this complaint.

consumer indicates ARC cannot be reached in any way. Consumer indicates the

    ARC can be
reached in multiple methods. ARC has live people answering inbound phone calls M-TH

***** ** ***** **** ********* of ARC called the consumer on 3/21/23.  Mr. **** let the consumer know the accounts

consumers and ARC.  Mr. **** and the
consumer agreed that his phone call during office hours that was not answered
was a phone carrier issue because after hours he did reach the ARC after hours
    voice mail greeting.

    Since the

received a notice that I have a collection from ACCT RES CRP on my credit report. It says it was opened on 06/20/2022 for $120 with account number starting in ******* that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA.

On February 5th, Account Resolution Corp posted against my credit report for a charge that I did not incur. These are false reports to my credit report that need to be removed. This company seems to repeatedly make these false claims as you can see from the repeated complaints. How does this continue? What is the proper legal route to remove this business license?

    Business Response

Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 3/2/23.
The consumer indicates in the complaint that ARC posted a false item on their credit report that the consumer did not incur. The consumers desired resolution is for ARC to correct the credit report.
Upon receipt of complaint, ARC reviewed the account and complaint with the creditor. ARC did send on 5/4/22 a validation notice to the consumer which would have documented the right to dispute and request validation.  There was no mail return on this sent letter.  ARC did not receive any request for validation.  The consumer did call ARC on 3/3/23 and indicated to ARC that the creditor said there was no balance due for this account. ARC relayed this information to the client on 3/3/23 and ARC closed the account on 3/3/23. A request for account deletion from credit reporting was submitted to the credit reporting agencies on 3/4/23.

I have been unable to reach them by phone to pay a utility debt. I would like to have the utility debt removed from my credit if possible. When I call the number provided I am left with no other option other than to leave a message.

    Business Response

    Account
Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint 19521213 on 3/1/23. The
consumer indicates consumers are not able to reach ARC for a resolution. Consumer
indicates that ARC does not send mail and does not answer the phone. The
consumer’s desired resolution is to pay the bill and have this removed from
    credit reporting.

    ARC sends mail
and answers the phones. The consumer has three accounts at ARC. All three
accounts have received letters. One of the accounts was paid in full and closed
within 8 days of placement in March 2022. The consumer called on 3/2/23 concerned
that she was not able to reach ARC on 3/1/23.  The employees of ARC were at a team building meeting out of the office
on 3/1/23 for the day at 1pm.  The
consumer did pay the one account in full over the phone on 3/2/23.  The payment in full status was reported to
the credit reporting agencies in March 2023.  The third account was paid in full before credit reporting started.  All of the consumers’ accounts at ARC are now
closed and paid in full.  When an account
reaches a paid in full status in our office, our office will report the
respective status to the credit reporting agencies.  When an account is paid in full, our office
considers the account closed.  After an
account becomes a paid in full status, our office will report this account as
paid in full for approximately sixty to ninety days to the credit reporting
agencies.  After this time period, our
office considers the account closed and is returned to our client.  When an account is closed and returned to our
client, our office will no longer credit report this account.  This was explained to the consumer in the
    call on 3/2/23.
    Since the accounts
are closed and the consumer’s desired resolution will be met, there was nothing
further for ARC to do currently as it relates to the complaint. However, ARC
remains available to discuss the complaint with the consumer at any time.

    Our office
is in receipt of complaint CC ******** on 3/1/23. For all the reasons
identified above, our office considers this complaint resolved. Please contact

    Account
Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 2/25/23.
    The consumer
indicates in the complaint that the consumer has contacted ARC several times in
reference to the account not being the responsibility of the consumer. The
consumer believes the account is inaccurate and should be removed from
reporting to the credit reporting agencies. The consumer’s desired resolution
is for ARC to correct the credit reporting.
    The consumer
called ARC on 2/24/23. While identifying the consumer and the account, the call
was terminated by the consumer.  This is
the only time the consumer has contacted ARC.  ARC has made multiple attempts to reach the
consumer with no success.  ARC has
responded to multiple verification and dispute requests the consumer has made
to the credit reporting agencies.  ARC is
not aware of any inaccuracy with the account.
    ARC mailed the
consumer an FTC Identity Theft Victim’s Complaint and Affidavit with the
validation of debt on 2/24/23. If the consumer completes the Complaint and
Affidavit form and returns it notarized with a police report to ARC, ARC will

it relates to the consumer’s request that the account is removed from credit

for the debt, ARC has not received a notarized FTC Identity Theft Victim’s

ARC has attempted to reach the consumer by telephone, is unaware of inaccuracy
with the accounts, sent validation of the debt, and the accounts are reporting as
disputed with the credit reporting agencies, there was nothing further for ARC
to do at this time as it relates to the complaint. However, ARC remains
available to discuss the complaint with the consumer at any time.
