    We have complied with all requirements of the FDCPA and FCRA completely. This has been confirmed by legal counsel. We are also a Business Associate in total compliance with all HIPAA guidelines. Many people on a regular basis are misinformed by internet credit repair scams.

    CBS Collections is attempting to collect an amount that is NOT owed to whoever they are seeking to collect for. I have sought to have them cease and desist any collection efforts since the balance they reflect is now due or owed. See attached letter

    THIS COMPANY WAS SUPPOSED TO NOTIFY ME OF THE DEBT THEY ALLEGED I OWE. WHICH CBS COLLECTIONS FAILED TO NOTIFY ME ABOUT REPORTING DEROGATORY INFORMATION. In section 603(p) 15 U.S.C. ss 168s-2(a)(7)(A)(I); "The notice required under subparagraph (A) shall be provided to the customer prior to, or no later than 30 days after furnishing the negative derogatory information to a consumer reporting agency described in section 603 (p),' 15 U.S.C. ss 1681s-2(a)(7)(B)(1). which i am sure your legal counsel will agree that CBS collections did not do. Lets also not forget that CBS COLLECTIONS broke commercial law under UCC § 9.501 that all notices were timely and properly given by dated certified mail receipt. They were NOT met. IN MY DECLARATION i asked for validation of debt and DID NOT receive that. CBS COLLECTIONS failed to give me my Mini-Miranda five days before placing this derogatory item on all of my consumer reports, per Section XXX(XX) & ***** ****** which is $1000 per violation and the state of LA allows treble damages. Under § 809. according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, failing to provide this notice can result in a penalty up to $2500 and can be enforced by the FTC, and that my state attorney general can also enforce this with a $1000 penalty as well. I NEVER received DOCUMENTATION. there is no contractual agreement that i owe any alleged debt to CBS collections. THINGS THAT A DEBT collector MUST do is offer proof of the debt as owed by providing copies of the signed intrument or judgment from the original creditor. ******** FTC informal staff opinion letter, May 17, 1993. See Ost v. Collection Bureau, Inc. 493 F. Supp. *** (D.N.D. 1980); ******** V. ********* 950 f.2D 107 3D cIR. 1991); ****** v. ***** General American Credits, Inc. 943 F.2d 482 (4th Cir 1991), et seq. 2. I am sure that your legal counsel will agree that CBS collections have violated multiple of the above stated laws. IF CBS collections continue collection activity with not shown me ANY PROOF, nor the FTC OR CFPB that i was served my Mini-Mirandi rights, i will be pursuing LEGAL ACTIONS AS WELL AS FILING A REPORT WITH THE LOUISIANA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE.

    CBS Collections has completely complied with all requirements of the FDCPA and the FCRA. This has been verified by legal counsel, Louisiana Collectors Assn., and the American Collectors Assn. The requests and legal threats against our company are not warranted. We have received hundreds of these letters crafted by credit repair agencies and posted on the internet.

    I was alerted that an account was added to my credit report. I am not liable for this debt with CBS COLLECT and I do not have a contract with said company. The original paperwork was not sent to me before this debt was added to my credit report. The Amount Disputed: $438.00. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS COMPLAINT AS "VALIDATED". I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT IS TO ENSURE THAT THE ACCOUNTS WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT AND TO BE PAID FROM THIS COMPANY FOR THEM VIOLATING MY CONSUMER RIGHTS (FCRA).     In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act. This account has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681.
    15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy.
    15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions
    In accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Debt collectors are not allowed to communicate with me under the 15 USC 1692C
