Quickbooks has REFUSED to cancel my subscriptions. They continue to charge me and their customer service refused to give me a further information. They would not tell me how to file a compliant, they would not cancel my subscription, they would not delete my card, and they would not escalate my issue. When I request a call back, Quickbooks/intuit never calls. I wish to speak to someone about this. I cannot be held hostage on an account I have tried to cancel over and over.Initial Complaint

I have been having an issue with my Quickbooks Online account not giving me access to all my accounting information and have reached out to QBO support and all I keep getting is a generic answer "the engineers are working on this issue". This has been going on for months and I am tired of getting the run around every time I call. I need to be able to have access to my accounting information from my accounting software that I pay a monthly fee to use.Initial Complaint

I pay for monthly subscription for QuickBooks, but it is still charging me $337 to file my taxes. I spend 2.5 hours on chat to resolve, then told to contact quick books because somehow I was in turbo tax even though I didnt have a choice. Was chatting with both, and they both said they couldnt help me and to contact the other one. After 2 hours of simultaneous chatting, one disconnected me, the other made me sign into credit karma and then disconnected me. I just want to file for free after I did all that work and pay for the service already.Initial Complaint

Quickbooks has been holding money that should have been deposited into our bank account since 2/6/25. I received an email from quickbooks payment team on Monday 2/17/25 letting us know the funds had finally been released and that they would be deposited into our bank account "within 48 hours. The 48 hours would have been yesterday, and still today we have not received the funds. I call there resolution center a few minutes ago and now they are saying they didn't release it until 2/18/25. I have email confirmation that says it was released on 2/17 and the deposit should have posted. I believe there is some sort of fraud going on with quickbooks merchant services. This is not the first time they told us the money would be deposited. On 2/11/25 a call to there resolution center resulted in me being told the money would be released within 48 hours, obviously that didn't happen. We are a small business and this has caused insurance a payroll issues.Initial Complaint

I am unable to add an accountant to my account. I have used ********************** for years and after 15 days the issue is still not resolved with no timeline as to when the issue will be resolved. When speaking to customer service and requesting a discount for not being able to use a service I pay for, they said no. As a small business, I need my accountant to have access to my books during the height of tax season. This is unacceptable.Initial Complaint

Date of the Transaction:The issue began with my original request sent on December 3, 2024, regarding an *** notice about the employer-side Federal withheld amount for the 2022 tax refund.Nature of the Dispute:I contacted QuickBooks Payroll Support, referencing ticket number ***********, and later received a new ticket number *********** after my follow-up on December 17, 2024. Despite providing all necessary *** documents and sending multiple follow-up emails (the most recent being on January 15, 2025), I have not received any response or resolution from QuickBooks Payroll Support for over two months. What QuickBooks Committed to Provide:QuickBooks Payroll Support is responsible for assisting with payroll-related issues, including providing accurate documentation to the *** when discrepancies arise. Their failure to respond is causing delays in resolving the *** notice, which could result in financial penalties or compliance issues for me.Attempts to Resolve:I have made several attempts to resolve this issue directly through QuickBooks' support channels, but all my emails have gone unanswered. This lack of communication is unacceptable, especially for a service related to critical tax and payroll compliance matters.Resolution Sought:I am seeking urgent action from QuickBooks Payroll Support to:Provide the required documentation and details to the *** related to the employer-side Federal withheld amount for the 2022 tax refund.Confirm in writing that this has been completed.Explain the delay in handling this matter despite multiple follow-ups.This issue is time-sensitive due to potential *** deadlines and penalties. I received an email stating that my account would be credited $567 to the bank account on file. After checking, I discovered that the bank account I had on file at the time is now closed. I reached out to support to confirm whether the funds had been disbursed, and they confirmed that they had. I explained that the account was closed and requested that the payment be sent to me by check via mail. However, after several attempts to contact customer support, no action has been taken. I received a customers payments through QuickBooks in the amount of $21,670. QuickBooks closed my payments account for no reason at all. Then proceeded to still ask me to verify the payment 3 times which I did. After verifying the payment and spending over a week on the phone with customer service I was told they were gonna hold my payment for 90 days, mind you they still took their payment processing portion out of the payment. They also even provided a batch number for the payment but then removed it for no reason. I've since lost 3 contracts including 1 government contract so I called back and spoke with 4-6 different **** from the payment department every single 1 of them told me they escalated the case mind you the payment was made November 15th it's now December 3rd and I've still yet to receive my payment. I've since had to hired a lawyer in attempt to file a lawsuit against them. I buried my child 2 months ago which cost me a arm and a leg and after paying out of pocket to cover that and the customer's job. I haven't been able to work, feed my family, or anything. I had to have a army ***** pay to restore my phone service. The only thing QuickBooks would say is I'm sorry to hear that. There's nothing more we can do. When it comes to being a contractor if you accept card payment from your customers do not use QuickBooks they will use your money to scale their company while watching you fail and watching your business go under and then we'll offer no type of resources or advance payment even though there's no way it has taken almost a month to process one payment. My payment has even had a batch number at one point time which was removed. My payment has also gave three different deposits dates and never was deposited. Mind you the deposit dates were even after they supposedly close my account for no reason at all. I'm currently about to face a lawsuit that I'm gonna have to counter *** QuickBooks forInitial Complaint
