I purchased a car on July 15 2023 with a down payment of $7500. When I drove the car home the engine light came on and I immediately called the dealership before they closed. The asked me to bring the car in on Monday July 17 2023. I did and they said it was the gas cap and reset the light so it would go off. When driving the car home the whole car locked up (the engine locked ) and the car lost all power resulting in me nearly being in an accident on the interstate. The police came and I had to have the car towed to my house $80. This morning July 18th I had the car towed from my home to the dealership which cost $326. The dealership asked why the car was brought to them and wanted us to pay to have the car towed somewhere else. I asked for my money back because I literally have not been able to drive the car 24 hours. The manager and everyone was rude and unwilling to help. I believe that this was fraud and grand larceny at the very least. I want my money back and this deal pulled as not to affect my credit.

On 5/26/23, I purchased a F150 from Marietta Auto Sales. The salesperson used tactics unbecoming of a first-time buyer. I was talked into putting a down payment of $300 on a GAP policy which was inflated 3 times above the market price for a GAP policy. The warranty that I was talked into buying, which is not applicable for the first 30 days was inflated by 4 times the market price. I drove the truck home, and saw oil, fuel and transmission leaks on my driveway. I took the truck for a post purchase inspection which revealed leaks in the fuel system and transmission, along with Oil and engine leaks. The repairs will cost $1,300 to repair. I contacted Marietta Auto Sales and they have yet to respond to my consumer concerns. DO NOT PURCHASE ANY VEHICLE FROM THIS USED AUTO DEALER. THEY WILL SALE YOU A PIECE OF JUNK AND DO NOTHING TO PROMPTLY COMPENSATE YOU FOR THE POST SALE R***IRS. THIS BUISNESS SHOULD BE REVIEWED BY THE BBB AND THE *** AS THIS TRUCK SUPPOSIDLY PASSED AN EMISSIONS TEST, HOW IS UNKNOWN TO ME WITH ALL OF THE **** LEAK ISSUES.

I am sorry to learn that ****************** is disatisfied with his purchase.  However, ****************** signed the Buyers Guide, commonly known as the AS-IS (see attached), which states that he is taking the vehicle in the condition it is in.  It also states that the customer can have the vehicle inspected prior to the completion of the sale by his own mechanic, either on or off our property.  ****************** chose not to do so.  As to the extended service agreement ****************** purchased, it states that the warranty begins on the EFFECTIVE DATE.  On page 2, under definitions, it clearly states that the effective date of the plan is the later of 30 days from the date of purchase or **** miles whichever is later.  Again, ****************** signed the document.

      Sincerely,

      *********************

Purchased vehicle from Marietta Auto Sales on 9-28-22 for $29K. Also purchased the extended warranty for $2500. While driving home from the dealership, the ***** Pilot began making strange noise that had me concerned. On 10-5-22, the ***** broke down and put my family on the side of the road. Called Marietta on 10-6-22 and advised what had happened. Marietta advised to bring the ***** to them and they would look at it. Took ***** to Marietta on 10-7-22 and they found no issues. On 10-9-22 the ***** put my family on the side of the road again, would not go past first gear. Recording of this breakdown was sent to Marietta. At this point, I contacted my warranty company spoke with *********** because we felt like the issue was due to the transmission. The warranty company advised me that the dealership should be responsible due to pre-existing conditions. I spoke with Marietta and they advised me to bring the ***** back in which cost me $350 for a tow bill. I have now been advised that the ***** needs a new transmission and Marietta will not begin the process until 10-28-22 so they can use the extended warranty I purchased. I do not feel that I should have to use my extended warranty since they sold me a faulty car. My first payment for the ***** is due 10-28-22 and Marietta is not responding to my text to get this issue resolved. Marietta refused to give me anything in writing stating that if I towed the vehicle to them that they would cover the cost to fix it no matter what that cost was.The following are the issues I want to see resolved:1.The ***** to be Fixed 100% without using my warranty up.2.Tow Bill reimbursement 3.Car payment due date extended 4.Rental car expensed covered until the car is fixed and returned to me.5.Paint chips on the hood fixed as promised when purchased.I am not able to attach the videos but I can send via text.

Date of transaction 8/31/2022 Vehicle - 2020 *** M8 Issue - Sold my vehicle to Marietta Auto Sales on 8/31/2022. Marietta Auto sales agreed to give me $94,000 for my vehicle, while my pay off was ******. I agreed to put the ($4000) difference to cover the pay off of the vehicle, and signed the bill of sale along with Marietta auto sales. The deal was done bill of sale was signed by myself as well as the other party (Marietta Auto Sales) and the keys where handed over. I grabbed all of my belongings out of the vehicle and took an Uber home. Weeks later i get an alert stating that my payment is late from ALLY Financial the lender for the car, i reached out and explained that the vehicle has been sold to Marietta Auto Sales and i have the bill of sale. I contacted Marietta Auto Sales to see what's going on with them paying the vehicle off, they stated that they changed there minds and that I can come and get my vehicle and they will give me my cash back and they are not paying off the vehicle. However the deal has already been made both parties have signed and as of today 10/4/2022 my vehicle still hasn't been paid off and affecting my credit score in a negative manner. Please note I am a veteran and have a security clearance for my job which this can heavily affect in a major way because it looks as if I'm not responsible and can't pay my bills which is false because the vehicle was sold but still impacting my credit because Marietta Auto Sales has yet to pay off the vehicle. Please Help.Respectfully,*******************************

I purchased an Audi A5 convertible the end of July. The day I got the car home I had a leak and standing water behind the drivers seat. The driver's seat could not be moved by the electrical switch as well. I immediately texted pictures to my sales person and was told they would fix it and "make it right". I also informed them that the service light was on and it required service, which I was told would be done as well. I brought the car in and had to Uber home ( which I was also told I would be reimbursed for the ride. I came back to get my car and was told it was fixed. No service was done on the car and I called them back to let them know the car was leaking again- two weeks ago, while driving down Roswell Rd to a work appointment, my car automatically braked in traffic, causing cars behind me to slam on the brakes. I was sitting in the middle of the street trying to get my car to start and it said Parking Brake Malfunction on the display screen. After about 5 minutes, after turning the car off, I was able to start the car and drive to my meeting. When I left my meeting as I was making a left turn onto Roswell Rd, the car stopped again and the same message came on the display. This time ongoing traffic and the traffic behind me had to slam on brakes. I repeated the same steps and was able to get the car to my friends house .5 miles away, where I had it towed to Marietta Auto Sales. After one week of having my car and no returned messages they told me they were not fixing it and I had to come get it. I had it towed to an audi dealership who informed me today that it was leaking and causing a short in the parking brake and that I would need ****** new roof. I require my car for work, and now I had to rent a car and have no idea how to resolve this other than rejecting this car and getting my money back from Marietta Auto Sales.
