: ***** Issues and Lack of Guidance - Extremely Disappointed**I purchased a 2020 Land Rover Discovery SE from Marietta Auto Sales ON May 10, 2025, and my experience has been a complete disappointment. On the very day I took the car home, I encountered multiple significant mechanical problems, including a faulty water pump as was told to me when I took the vehicle in for a coolant leak. Even though I had a warranty to cover the water pump, I had a $250 deductible. After returning home the coolant leak was not repaired. I took the car back to the maintenance shop and they discovered the leak was coming from another area that was not covered by the warranty and that cost me considerably. I'm dealing with an engine warning light that came on during the drive home which still exist 4 months later because no one can find the cause. I have passed birthday and can't get the car registered.Additionally, the car periodically experiences high RPMs, which raises concerns about its overall performance and reliability. Whats more frustrating is that, while Ive read reviews mentioning that the dealership encourages buyers to have their vehicles checked out before purchase, no one suggested this to me at any point. I feel misled and unsupported in this process. These issues have resulted in unexpected repair costs on top of my car payments, making my experience even more regrettable. I strongly advise potential buyers to proceed with extreme caution when considering a purchase from this dealership.

Within 3 weeks of purchasing the car my son began to have issues and took it to a mechanic who advised the car needed a new engine. We took the car to the ******** dealership for a 2nd opinion/diagnostic which confirmed the engine was sludged and needed to be replaced at an estimated cost of $22K. While we didnt elect to purchase a warranty from the dealership, we had every intention of doing so but didnt anticipate having issues within a few weeks of purchasing the car. In hopes that Marietta Auto would assist in righting this wrong I contacted the dealership on 12/15/2024 and left a message for the sales manager and I also sent a message through their website. After not receiving a return call I called again on 12/16, 12/17, and 12/18 leaving multiple messages and sending emails. Although, I never received a call back, the sales manager did contact my son and advised that he could bring the car in for a potential trade-in but it would not be for equal value. We had the car towed to the dealership on 12/21. We were advised that their service team had inspected the car and found no sign of sludge in the engine. At this point the car wouldnt accelerate and there was a loud ticking noise from the engine however, they continued to maintain that there was no sludge in the engine and nothing that they could do. To add insult to injury they only offered a trade-in value of $8,000 which is less half of what he purchased the car for. While there we showed the service technician signs of sludge on the engine cap and he advised that he could only do what the sales manager instructed him to do which was nothing. We have incurred over $800 in towing costs and another $7,300 for a used engine. Its unfortunate that used car dealerships such as them are allowed to exist.

Horrible experience, I am a mother of two, One child who is disabled and requires therapies 3 times a week (physical and speech) as well as doctor appointments. I purchased a vehicle and had problems the minute I drove off the lot, brought it back multiple times only to receive it back undrivable! During this whole ordeal my daughter has missed vital therapies, paid over 300$ in **** for rides to the shop after they claimed to have fixed it and it wasnt, they refused to compensate the ****s or anything meanwhile I have to also make the car payment and full coverage ins payment for a car I cant drive, incurred car rental expenses, asked them to cancel the warranty and **** to offset expenses and that was never done as they claim the lady doesnt work there anymore and informed me of that a month later despite me calling to follow up and calls going unanswered, *************************** emailing me at inappropriate hrs trying to convince me of bs. Im asking please make this right and take the vehicle back without making me shell out several thousands of dollars (******** to be exact), knowing this is wrong and u could write that off. I cant! Before u say u offered to put me in another vehicle, that vehicle wasnt comparable and had a service light on! Before use the political excuse used cars are unpredictable, if thats true than u should want to make it right especially with how early the problem occurred, how major it was and your service department making it worse. Also before u say I should have used the warranty , warranties dont pay for preexisting condition thus leaving me in this disaster of a situation. Meanwhile my disabled child suffers bc of greedy adults! Do the right thing and Ill change this review, while you wait my disabled child suffers as I try to figure out transportation to her demanding physical and speech therapy appointnents as well as doctor visits and work so I can support a special needs child

This is my first time ever buying a vehicle from a dealership. I have to say it was a complete disaster. I'm buying a car online and from out of state you expect the dealership to be honest with you and accurate about the condition of a vehicle. That's not what happened here whatsoever. I purchased a 2016 Maserati Ghibli from this dealership, where I live in ********. I was told the vehicle was an excellent condition. After weeks of waiting for the vehicle it showed up was absolutely zero gas the sun visor was broke the back vent was completely missing and it had an exhaust leak. Which absolutely not a single one of these things was mentioned prior to buying a vehicle. I feel like all they cared about was getting their money, and that was it . There was little to no communication from this dealership once they got their money. I literally had to call everyday for over a week to see what the holdup was and why the car was not being shipped and every time I got a new excuse from a new person. I honestly wish I would have never bought the vehicle from this dealership

I bought a 2020 ***** Camaro on October 4, 2023. On October 12th, the check engine light came on and a message came up that said stop engine soon. As soon as I got off the freeway and turned right to the nearest business the car stopped on me. The auto repair shop stated that I needed an engine. I called the local ****************** Dealership and asked if the engine was under warranty. They looked up the vin number and asked me how many miles was on the car. I began looking at the books that came with the vehicle and it should be under warranty. After the car was towed to the dealership, the service rep checked the vehicle out and said it was not covered due to Car Fax reports that showed on 2 oil changes the life of the car. The dealorship said I need an engine and turbo charger which is $11,280.34 total for parts and labor. I called Rafiu and ************************* at Marietta Auto Sales. ***** simply lied and said he would call me back after seeing what they could do for me. He never called back. **** claimed he was the General Manager and there was no one other than him I could speak to. He said he was just charge me less than the dealership to put a new engine and turbo in. I told him I shouldn't have to pay anything. I requested to speak to the owner and he said there is no owner. They have horrible customer service and should not be in business. The finance manager, ***** knew there was something wrong with the car that's why he kept pushing the $4,000 warranty. Mind you I could buy the same warranty from ****************** for $2,900. They are ripping people off. I paid more than retail value for a vehicle that needs and engine and turbo charger. As a consumer I am extremely disappointed and hurt that I am out of transportation and money. I paid full coverage insurance and have a loan to pay for a vehicle that I can't drive!

The actual process of getting a car @ Marietta Auto Sales was pretty straightforward. I went to the location with no appointment and was assisted by a gentleman named *****. We found a car I liked, test drove it, and completed the application at his desk. My credit is horrible right now, but I was able to get a loan and plan to refinance in a few months. A couple days later I pick up my car (filled the tank on the ride home because I hadnt noticed that the tank was almost on E when I left the lot), drove it for one day, and the following day it was completely dead. I reached out to ***** and was met with very little sympathy for the fact that Id just purchased a vehicle from them, but now had to deal with not only the inconvenience of the car not starting and having to purchase a new battery, (I asked for reimbursement for the battery I purchased, and ***** says h*** let me know the answer Monday. Monday passes, I reach out, then he says Tuesday. Tuesday passes. Wednesday passes and still nothing.) but also the overall stress /frustration/time/energy put into resolving this issue. I communicated this to *****, along with my frustration about being given a newly purchased car on E, a broken fuel cap cover, literally trash (melted candy, wrappers, and some hunk of chocolate in between the passenger seat) finger smudges on the windows, rear view mirrors, windshields, and visors, dust, dust, and what just seemed to just be a lack of a thorough cleaning of the car. ***** is apologetic and wants to make it right. I ask for the car to be detailed inside, he immediately let me know that they dont have a detailer on site but it can be cleaned again. I drove back to Marietta, only for them to clean the areas that I specifically pointed out. Its clear that the car wasnt cleaned thoroughly, again. I leave the dealership and the check engine light comes on. ********** Zone and the O2 sensor needs replacing. (Rest of the review can be found on *******
