I dropped of my 19** ****** on March 18, 2025 for a motor swap. Given the shops options, the store and district manager verbally told me it could take anywhere from 2-5 weeks to get the job done. Given there were small custum parts, i thought an additional week would be more than enough buffer time.
Given the location, the manager promised the ****** would be put in the shop for safe keeping. 2 weeks later, I came by to check on it and saw my vehicle still outside. I discovered it was also left unlocked, with the keys still in the ignition.
They did not use the engine we agreed on, and instead went with a more expensive option.
They gave false promises of when they would start the work.
They promised the vehicle would be pulled in 1 week later, but it still took a couple of days.
April 28th, they finally pulled the old motor, and had the new motor ready to be put in.
May 9th, the ****** was back outside and not being worked on.
They sent me out to get random hose fittings for a stock fuel pump
Since then, theres missing parts and hardware, probabaly from leaving it unsecured outside in that area.
After multiple fals promises of the truck being done, it is still sitting there incomplete as of July 4, 2025.Since the job is incomplete and I have not received my truck still, I have not paid or made any transactions with this buisness.
However. Id like to add more information I failed to mention previously. After nearly 2 months of false promises and verbal ensurance on the security of my vehicle (After leaving it unlocked with the keys in, outside), I found my truck back outside with the hood off, uncovered. During this time, there has been some serious rain, with everything exposed potentially causing further damage. After examining my vehicle, I saw exposed electronics to include my ********* alternator (retail $300+) only held in the vehicle with a zip tie. Furthermore, wires and connectors has visible water damage and corrosion. More rust and sitting water from rain.Initial Complaint

I went for a transmission fluid top off and was charged 168 dollars for it. They say they had to take parts off to do it but there was transmission fluid every where on the plastic like it was just poured in. When my husband told the manager your just the person I need to talk to he asked us to leave. He knows they were wrong and I should not of been charged that much all they had to do was pour in with a funnel where the dip stick goesBusiness Response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: They did not try to resolve it. They said they would call back and never did. I was charger an amount I could not afford was not gold upfront it would cost that. I feel they could have used the dip stick to pour the fluid per several mechanics have told Me. They did extra work to charge me more. I should have been told the cost up front not after the fact.
Sincerely,
******* *******Initial Complaint

They supposedly replaced a water pump on my car, and other things. They told me that they would make sure it was fixed properly for my kids. They were very unprofessionall Signed me up for something I asked not to be signed up for, and I am going to have to pay this ******* almost 3k for a water pump they never replaced, on top of that since they did not change my water pump, all of the coolant disappeared and it blew my head gasket which the dealer replaced in 2022! I had to buy a water pump and the original OEM one was still attached to my car! I have it in the box the new one cam in! They lied about doing repair work on my car which made my car inoperable! I had to cancel kids weekend trip which was non refundable, labor day trip, and replaced multiple other parts not knowing they did not change the water pump! I tried calling right after the incident only to be told they would give my number to a district manager who never got in contact with me after 5 attempts. This has negatively impacted my life along with my children. I have multiple videos of coolant leaking from water pump, pics, receipts, and everything. They told ******* that they did the repairs that they signed me up for, and work was done. No work was done on my vehicle. It is their fault my car ran out of coolant and my head gasket blew! This ******* which I refuse to pay will now ruin my credit, after they already ruined my car from being operable. I do not want them to fix my car, they ruined my car and i have proofInitial Complaint

I dropped my car off mid-December & paid $2000+ to this shop to perform repairs/maintenance on it. Repairs were overpriced, but I was in a rush to leave town. Picking up my car next day, mechanic said he wasn't able to fix gas gauge but said they'd be able to fix @ no cost to me when I returned it. I started my drive to *** this is when a tapping sound started coming from my car. didn't drive my car during my stay in *** When I began drive back to **, rattling sound was still there. Eventually, car broke down, & I had to pull over & have it towed to a mechanic, 5hrs away from my ** destination. The next weekend, I had to arrange transport back to ** to get the car. The ** mechanics explained they found my radiator hanging from my car. They said whoever had worked on this car previously was to blame for this. I paid $800+.
When I got back to ** & tried to get repairs done that I'd already paid for, there were extreme delays in getting my vehicle serviced. They wanted to charge me for more diagnostic work after I'd already paid them $2000+! It was nearly a month of dealing w/this shop since I'd gotten back, & I'd still not received any contact from management about the damage reimbursement, despite numerous reminders to them. When manager called me, he was very rude and made it clear he wouldn't help me get reimbursed. I finally got in contact w/shop's owner. I got reimbursed for the damages and partially reimbursed (minus taxes) for the repairs the shop never completed - nearly 4mos after initial shop visit! When I was about to drive to ** after getting reimbursed, gas started spilling from under my car as I was gassing it up. I had to drive from ** to ** w/gas spilling out of my car at every gas station. My car charger didn't work the whole trip too. When I got to **, a mechanic addressed the issue Precision Tune couldn't fix. They also told me whoever worked on it before didn't connect a hose, causing the spillage; they also hadn't plugged my car charger back in.Initial Complaint

On December ***** I went to Precision tune for an oil change and coolant fluid flush. Five minutes after leaving the shop my car began running hot. After calling the shop they sent a tow truck to pick my car up and admitted not filling both coolant tanks. I am afraid that this could cause long term damage to my car but there is no way of telling at this time. They admitted negligence and we should be compensated in some manner.Initial Complaint

Hello, I am writing regarding an issue that happened at***************************. I took my vehicle in on Monday October*** ONLY for an oil change and of course they
"found" another issue that I should have taken care of. I got that recommended service done and was on my way. It was late when I picked up my car and the next day when I got on the highway I could hear a noise like a flapping sound. I took my car back Thursday morning and explained the noise I heard. I told them it sounded like maybe something was not tight enough or something like that. The tech test drove my car and said it was my CV axles. Due to the high cost I was hesitant and after being explained to me what the axles do, I had that service done as well. Problem NOT fixed. The next day, Friday evening I took my car back to the shop told them my car was making the SAME noise they said they fixed. The alleged manager took my car for a drive and upon return he said no it's something else. At that point I told them to give me my keys and I left. The next
morning, Saturday I went to another shop and the only thing needed was my front fender needed a screw. It had come loose and was rubbing my tire. My fender was not loose prior to me taking it to Precision Tune so this was a result of their faulty workmanship. The shop didn't even charge me for the screw. I have spent over $1K in 2 days at this shop on services that for sure were not needed. They made guessing games on why my car was making the flapping sound and attempted to get more money from me. I spent $874 on parts and service that were not needed. my car was misdiagnosed and all I needed
was a little screw. I'm seeking reimbursement of my money and
any interest that has been charged on my card. I have used this shop for many many years and with this new manager, Derrick who was very nonchalant, uncaring or concerned in the costly error made by the mechanics I will not be returning.
