    I saw the comercial on TV, then I actually called and talk to an agent, She was very transparent, and I ask questions like, my warranty already expired from **** it is very expensive to fix this vehicle, this is why i would like to have a peace of mind. She asked me question about my Vehicle and I responded, and I asked when will the vehicle be protected, and she answer, after 25 days, or 1000 miles something like that, and I told her with my luck it could happen any time, well after 3 month I started to have an issue with the vehicle, my luck of course, the vehicle had probabbly 4500 miles after coverage, I tow the vehicle to a shop near where I live, which the shop was in the network, and the first thing the shop said to me was, Carshield, sorry we can not help you, I do not want to deal with them and I said to my self, OMG, What Have I done, the owner of the shop was hearing my conversation with the shop advisor and said, I'm going to give them another try, they said they have change> After two weeks at the shop and myself without a vehicle, I had to rent a vehicle to get around, and no carshield did not pay for it, the shop diagnose the vehicle in two days, and carshield would not tell me if they would covered the diagnose nor the broken part. Finally i got the call to tell me that they have review the claim and carshield is not responsible for the broken part which was a burnt Valve, which under their coverage, carshield was suppose to coverage, is a mechanical issue that could happen to an automobile anytime int its life span, I end up paying for the rentals for two weeks($700.00) and paying the shop for the diagnose,($450.) and now I have no car, so I do not recommend carshield for anybody that is looking for car protection. They are full of it.

    This was my first time filing a claim for services at one of the participating Meineke shops. My car was done and I was there waiting for two hours!! Therefore, I had to call because the shop manager was told he would get a call back after providing the codes and photos of the work that needed to be done. He was waiting for that confirmation of payment so I can pay and leave. And what really made me feel doubtful was when the rep. **** I have to wait for 24 hours. I'm sorry I need my car to get to work and do my errands. Fortunately, everything did work out, not financially for me, but it still was a plus that I had the coverage. Thank you for working it out for me in one day. Much appreciated.
