Within 2 hours of walking through the door we had notified Vacasa of lack of cleanliness and electrical issues. There was strong smell of mold, mildew on the window seals, human&pet hair found&stains on the bed After running a bath we went to turn on jets which made an odd sound causing half of the building to lose power. Call Vacasa the auto system started a txt convo.Was told they created a ticket for their local team to address. Asked if it was safe to stay in the home and was told In case is necessary for you to leave the unit the local team will notify you We had sent videos&pics of the oven showing an error message, lights flickering, the microwave not working, outlet triggering making a clicking sound. Due to the severity of issues and that it was quickly communicated we assumed someone would be out that night. By 11:30 no one had shown up.Woke up after a restless night and still no one by 9:15am so we text we were ********** later rcvd a call frm the local mgr stating that their normal procedure is to relocate us we requested they try to find us another option ********* after that we rcvd a call back and told there was an option that didnt meet our needs.Then told there was another ********* WAS LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO OUR INTIAL RENTAL!We were uncomfortable with staying next door to the house with electric issues and requested to cancel our remaining night and as well as a full refund We were initially told no refund at all stating everything had been resolved.We requested someone meet us back at the property to show us the issues were resolved were told that couldnt be arranged because there was no one in the county to do so.We called the main number and were then told that Vacasa only had record of initial complaint nothing of electrical issues.We were informed there would be no refund for the night that we had stayed even though there was no where to cook,no electricity to half the house and we werent even comfortable to use the shower/tub.
