              On 7/5 I had a call with customer service with Traveler’s insurance about an ongoing issue getting my car back from a shop they had recommended for repairs from a hit-and-run. The customer service rep understood how difficult it was to be without my car for a month, when I was initially told 10 days and she offered “remuneration” (her word), for my troubles. I was appreciative and tried to follow up with my agent. Then followed tons of phone calls and emails with Travelers, mostly someone named Susan Smith, with them denying any remuneration and getting all sorts of details wrong. They told me they would search for the call on 7/5 and then kept disappearing until I emailed or called again asking for follow-up. I would call customer service and they would tell me they would review everything, then bump me back to Susan Smith who simply would not engage in the fact that Traveler’s told me they would offer remuneration for all of the difficulties I had from being without a car for a month because the shop they recommended couldn’t care less about a timeline. It has been really frustrating having a large institution say x and then simply refuse to make good. I have paid my premium faithfully for years, $200 or whatever, is nothing to them. I realize this seems small, but they could not care less about all the trouble they caused me by recommending this shop, getting the dates of car return wrong repeatedly, not returning calls, not returning emails, etc. etc. It would be great if Traveler’s would treat their customers better.

              Travelers acknowledged liability for the accident and covered necessary repairs to my Tesla. Despite some initial complications with the rental process, adjustments were made to provide a Tesla rental, which I appreciate. 2. **Bodily Injury**: Following the accident, I underwent medical treatment for neck and back injuries, submitted my medical bills, and received a $5,000 settlement for the injuries, lost wages, and pain. This part of the claim has been satisfactorily resolved. 3. **Battery Issues**: A significant concern remains regarding my Tesla's reduced battery charging capacity after the accident. I provided Travelers with charging logs and Tesla's diagnostics, which clearly show a decline in performance following the collision. Tesla has indicated that the issue could be related to physical or thermal damage caused by the accident. Despite this evidence, your appraiser has refused to acknowledge any connection between the accident and the battery issue. Tesla’s Battery Management System (BMS) may have detected damage post-accident, triggering a limitation on battery performance as a safety measure. The evidence provided points to a direct link between the accident and the battery issue, yet Travelers has continued to deny this claim. 4. **Unresolved Dispute**: I have submitted all relevant documentation to substantiate my claim, including communication from Tesla mechanics, charging history, and diagnostic reports. Travelers’ refusal to address this issue without a valid explanation is both unreasonable and frustrating.
