      I've been trying to cancel my PayLink direct vehicle protection and get a refund that was promised to me. It's not what it was advertised to me as, since the times I needed to file a claim I was told each time my situation was not covered. (Having a flat tire last spring and needing a tow this winter). I tried calling several times in October to cancel and was sent in circles between multiple agents essentially harassing me telling me reasons I shouldn't cancel (that this insurance is absolutely necessary and I'm not thinking straight as it should come above my medical bills, utility bills, etc.). I shouldve caught on immediately as the agent who signed me up for the service was extremely rude and unprofessional as he called me irresponsible for not signing up after I clarified several times I wasnt interested. I tried calling this week to cancel but was on hold for almost 2 hours and when the phone line started to ring to connect to an agent the call was ended. I talked with a few people who were familiar with them and they also had nothing good to say with similar experiences. I was told in October that I'm almost halfway through on my 18 payments at 120 per month. I'm honestly dreading having to call again because I know it'll be a run around of being gaslit into keeping the service. My contract/policy number is: MRT131800. My billing accound number is: WFC4728672. I have a newer vehicle and truly do not need the service for what it covers. I want nothing more than to end this service and receive a refund.

      Very bad customer service. I called to cancel my auto policy and was forced to keep it another month to think about if I still wanted to cancel. I called the next month and was then harassed by the guy on the phone. I had to talk to him for 20 minutes trying to cancel this policy because he would not want to do it for me. He kept repeating the same thing and asking personal questions which were extremely unnecessary. I dont care how good of a policy it is, if I want to cancel something I dont want to spend ******************************************* and make assumptions instead of canceling what I demand to get done.

      Hello ****, thank you for bringing your situation to our attention. PayLink is the Payment Plan Provider for your vehicle service contract. As the Payment Plan Provider, we handle the processing of the monthly installment plan. We are not involved with anything related to the sale or cancellation of the policy, or anything else related to the vehicle service contract itself. Our records indicate that on January 17, 2024, you purchased a vehicle service contract from US ********************* Services LLC (USAPS). Our records also indicate that you called our office on April 25, 2024 to cancel your policy. Billing was suspended at that time, and you were referred to USAPS to complete the cancellation of your policy. Furthermore, our records indicate that your vehicle service contract was cancelled on April 25, 2024. Accordingly, no further payments have been or will be collected from you by PayLink. In an attempt to further assist you, PayLink forwarded the contents of your review to USAPS. It is our understanding from ***** that you called their office to cancel your policy on March 8, 2024. Per USAPS, you agreed to keep your policy after they offered to lower the policys total premium and extended the payment terms. It is also our understanding from ***** that you called again to cancel your policy on April 25, 2024. Per USPAPS, as part of their standard procedure to ensure customers are fully informed before making a final decision regarding cancellations, they attempted to address your concerns and discuss your policys benefits. USAPS has indicated that they cancelled your policy per your request and issued a refund to you via check on May 2, 2024 in the amount of $195.16. For any further questions, please contact USAPS directly at ************* for assistance. Thank you.
