            This issue is ongoing. Thrivent has been uncooperative in disbursing funds owed to me awarded in a divorce settlement. The original account belongs to my ex wife and I was awarded half the amount in the settlement. I have signed the necessary paperwork that was sent to me but yet Thrivent refuses to send me my payment and has not contacted me regarding the matter. I have stopped by my local Thrivent office and was given excuses as to why they could not do anything there.

            Thrivent has been extremely difficult to work with!! My elderly mother who resides in a nursing facility bought the Thrivent spiel and had signed up with them years ago. She had purchased nursing home insurance. When it came time for her to use it, they fought it tooth and nail. I had to get numerous, numerous affidavits and legal declarations and sent them a two-inch thick folder of documentation in order for them to finally cover her. Since that time, they treat me, the POA, like a criminal and will not discuss her policy; are rude and dismissive when simply trying to update addresses and phone numbers, and overall are cruel and harsh in their demeanor. No one expected my mother to live as long as she is, so at 95 years of age, they continue to deny and fight back against her increasing nursing home charges. I would never in my life work with this company in any manner!
