            On september 29 2022 I purchased a brand new handy scoot scooter Through scooter direct.There is a 2 year warranty on the scooter and recently I've been having problems with it.I already submitted for a warranty repair on a latch. And they replaced it with a new one. But I'm still experiencing problems with it also, There is loud noise coming from the tire area. I brought it up to the business.Attention, and they told me to contact a repair shop to get it fixed. There are no repair shops that are willing to fix it. So they told me to mail it to them. And they will fix it. But I will be responsible for the cost of the shipping. I told them I will not pay over 200 plus dollars to ship it when it's still under warranty. I would like a full refund on this scooter or free shipping so that they will send it for repairs and fix all the things that's wrong with it.

            My father's scooter lift bar got damaged right before he had surgery. Ordered new one, UPS lost it. Got new one over night. Didn't open it till we were in another state for surgery. Bar didn't fit. original one arrived while we were gone. Got home, called to get refund and send back both boxes which we didn't need because my uncle had bar fixed. The "manager" I talked to said out of $149+ dollars we paid, we only get a $80 refund because we had to pay for 20% restocking fee and pay to have it shipped to them. They don't use shipping return labels. He said it cost them $40 to ship it to us. So now since we have to return 2 boxes, any refund we get will just replace the money we spent to ship them back. So basically we get no money back at all. We don't need the kits, so once they're sent back we basically spent $149+ on thin air. I will NEVER order from this company again, and will make sure to tell all my military relatives, their friends in military, VA Hospital and the American Legion to not buy from them because it's a waste of money.

            Part ordered by the customer was the part sent.
            Scooter Direct Return Policy is posted online: https://www.scooterdirect.com/returns/ - Shipping fees are non-refundable.
            Customer was past the return timeframe but an exception was made because FedEx lost the freight and it was delayed arriving. We shipped another part overnight at our expense. We also reduced the restocking fee from 25% posted online to 20%. Customer confirmed the part arrived by their deadline.
            Customer was told they did not need to return both parts as they were only charged for one.
            Customer would not accept any resolution except a full refund including the shipping costs to and from the customer.
            We apologize for any confusion on our part but we followed the posted policy.
