      This institution looks bright and shiny from the outside ... but inside it's anything but. We've had several direct deposits stop working because Blue changed the last 3 numbers to the wrong account. I went without my paycheck for almost a month while they tried to figure out what happened. When they finally figured it out they didn't apologize or ask if there had been any financial hardship due to their mistake ... nothing. They are out to appear "trendy" and "new" but they are only looking out for themselves.

      DO NOT bank with this institution. It is easily one of the worst credit unions out there to deal with. Quite literally everything is outsourced making you sign up to some outside agency to either transfer your own money or to even just pay a bill.If you want to wire transfer money, which should be normal for a credit union, you either have to sign up for another service, or pay $30 to have the money transferred.They have "convenience" fees for things that are less convenient for the user.. makes little to no sense.They have drafted out 3 separate car payments without permission totaling more than $1,800 and then gave us the run around trying to get it fixed.I can bet that in the 70 years this credit union has existed, it was once a very good, but that is long gone.I hope people wondering whether or not to go to this credit union read this and walks the other way. As for Blue, no need to respond to this with some auto generated junk. This company deserves 0 out of 5 stars.

      The worst credit Union to ever use for a car loan. You cant set up automatic payments online or on the app. If you call their automated line they charge you a convenience fee of ten dollars to make an online payment. How is it a **** convenience to have to call to make a dang payment. Unless you have a bank account with them you can not make or set up payments online. This is just a credit Union run by scammers. Avoid them, dont do any kind of banking with them. They only using you to make money or take whatever you financed with them. I make my payments every month and being charged an extra 10 dollars for a convenience fee. Cause they wont let you add a payment account online or buy calling. So I have to use the automated service.

      I paid my vehicle off in Oct.2022 and have been told Blue CU is waiting on the state of California DMV to send out a paper title to Blue for my vehicle DMV has issued a change in title and will not let me register my vehicle, DMV says Blue CU has NOT released interest electronically in their system. I've been reaching out to Blue and have gotten little response. Frustrated.

      5/5. Talked w/ Cory S @ their HQ Call Center in Cheyenne, WY and was very knowledgeable in helping me with what I needed. This was my first time having a loan through them despite living in Casper, WY. I didn't receive anything in the mail from them regarding my account but this stuff can happen a lot and is not always the fault of the credit union (such as the documents, moving up in the envelope, cutting information off and the **** system kicking it out.). Seeing all these bad reviews gave me bad feeling of doing my loan through them but barely even being on hold for a minute and Cory's kindness dissolved all of those feelings. You generally only see the bad reviews but people who had great experiences tend to not leave reviews.

      Absolute joke of a business. I want to pay off my vehicle and there is virtually no way to do it on their site. Their website is so confusing, like they’re intentionally trying to keep you from paying off your loan so they can make more money. Linking accounts is so cumbersome, it’s like their website was made in 1990 and never got updated. I spent half an hour just trying to figure out how I can make a lump sum payment on my loan, which I never found. If you care about making payments online and having an easy payment experience, stay FAR from this company.

      They are the worst don’t do business with these people. They repossessed my car and then told me I had to pay the whole balance off they would not let me pay the back balance. Don’t do business with them.

      Bad customer service, tried to skip a payment because Covid hit my family disturbing our finances and the company didn’t care at all they just told me the repercussions of not making a payment when I just wanted a little help. From a former business owner you need to take personal interest and a possible resolution with a loyal customer mostly when I have made all my payments on time to blue federal. I recommend not going through this credit union, lack of understanding from customers situations that keep the business running is the worst kind of business.

      They are holding our money hostage! I over paid off a loan; was lied to that the refund check was mailed out on 1/10/22. When we talked to Alexis to find out where our money was and why we were lied to she was very condescending and stated the check was never mailed to us but would be in the mail tomorrow. The worst customer service we have ever experienced and they have stolen our money!

      I’ve been a member of BFCU for years and I’ve always had an amazing experience with them. A few weeks ago I had a scam happen to me. I called Blues support line right away and was told by two different reps that since the charges were still pending there was nothing they could do and to call back once the charges were approved. After five days, the charges went through and I called Blues support line like instructed by the two reps I spoke with. I was told by THIS rep that since the charges were now approved there was nothing they could do to dispute the charges, but the charges could of been disputed had they still been in a pending state. I was very upset that I spoke to TWO different people and they both failed me. All I was told was he was sorry they didn’t know what they were doing and he would try and dispute the charges. I was contacted by Blues fraud department and explained the whole situation and was told that since I authorized these charges they couldn’t dispute the charges but could help with $30 here and there. The scam was for over $1000. Isn’t every scam an authorized charge since you’re unaware you’re getting scammed? Throughout all this, Blue suggested cancelling my debit card (even though the scammer had none of my debit card information) and it’s now been over two weeks without having my new debit card. I am beyond disappointed with the customer service I’ve received and how Blue has handled this entire situation. Had their representatives been trained better I wouldn’t be out $1000 and this all could of been resolved weeks ago. I’m currently searching for a new Union because of this situation after being with them for years. I would highly recommend finding another Union that won’t let you down so horribly.
