On October 17, 2023 I contacted the owner via text message of J. Erickson Spurs & Buckles to order a buckle. I obtained his address at this point and briefly described what I wanted. I mailed him a check for $400 on October 20, 2023 with a picture of the belt buckle I was ordering. I checked to see if he had received my check on 10/26/2023 and he cashed it 11/26/2023. He assured me that it would be ready by Christmas. We were in contact on and off from that point until 12/23/2023 and at that point I had not received it and it took him a few days to answer me. He claimed that he had shipped it a few days prior but had not tracked the package. He claimed that he would check with the post office. I had still not received it by the first of the year. He stated that he would start another one to send. There was minimal contact in the month of January regarding progress. All communication stopped at the end of January. On January 31, 2024 since I had not heard from him, I informed him that I wanted to cancel my order and requested a refund. I have never received a refund or a response that time. Additionally, I never received a receipt and all transactions were via text which I would be happy to provide if needed. I can also get a copy of the cancelled the check.
