I ordered tires off of this website almost 2 years ago and 4 of them are defective and bulging to the point where the vehicle is a safety issue due to all tires bulging. The website recommended these tires to me for a good price but little did i know they were a terrible brand. I proceeded to file a warranty claim with Custom Offsets on August 6, and the issue has yet to be solved and i have been without a vehicle due to the slowest response time i have ever dealt with and nearly refusing to help me after spending 2500$ with them.Business Response

These tires were purchased on 3/31/2022, meaning they are well over three years old. Aside from this, our team was happy to assist with submitting a warranty claim to the manufacturer for review. While unfortunate, we are unable to expedite the review process by the manufacturer. It should be very clearly understood that we at Custom Offsets do NOT provide the warranty coverage on products and individual warranty claims are at the complete mercy of the manufacturer as they provide the warranty coverage. As of 8/22, we are still awaiting a response by the manufacturer for confirmation of the claims denial or approval. I purchased five tires and wheels that were supposed to be mounted and balanced from fitment industries. I did the initial wheel and tire check to make sure they fit properly and they did so I mounted them and my car was shaking violently at 60mph and above. This is the third set of wheels and tires I've had for this vehicle so this isn't the first time that I've changed the wheels and tires on this vehicle, but it is the first time that I've had this problem. I took the tires and wheels to a local mechanic (I have also sent fitment industries this information so they could contact my local shop if necessary) where they were Road Force balanced and the owner of the shop did the work. He told me only two out of the five could actually be balanced properly and would be usable. You said the reason a tire would need to be Road Force balanced is because it is made of low quality rubber with hard spots in it. He said The other three needed to be replaced. I have sent all the required information to this company and they want to argue and tell me that I need to have them Road Force balanced once again. I've already paid $150 plus to my local shop to do the job the first time and now this company (fitment industries) wants me to pay another $75 to have those rebalanced. The tires themselves were $391 for all five of them and they are refusing to exchange these three tires. I'm not asking to return them I'm literally asking for three tires that are actually good. I should not have to pay $225 Plus to have something done that should have been done before they were even shipped out. This company is trash and I would never recommend them to anyone. They are literally fighting over 3 $78 tires that are supposed to be "performance rated" and I have to spend more than that to get them replaced. They should be reimbursing me for the road Force balancing as well since that should not be necessary to begin with.Business Response

I have responded, I have already paid for this once and now this company wants me to pay for it again and pay a shop to measure the depth of the tires. By the time I'm done paying for all of this for a second time I might as well have just repurchased a whole other set of tires. I have already sent pictures of the tread depth and everything that was asked for in the beginning. I should not have to send it a second time along with more information that I'm going to have to pay for out of pocket. I should not have to pay to have a warranty issue resolved. We're always more than happy to cover costs associated with warranties that are within reason. The reason we are asking for another tread depth reading is that the original one was done with a ruler, which does not show true depth. It's claimed that the work of both tread depth and road force balancing has been done but our team has not once received a shop statement confirming this work. We've asked numerous times for this information to be sent but again, have not seen it come our way yet. It should also be noted that any reputable tire shop would not charge a customer to test tread depth. We again advise that shop statements be sent our way if the work was truly done as the manufacturer requires it in order to proceed with a warranty claim. It should also be noted that these requirements are directly from the manufacturer as they are the ones that offer the warranty coverage, so their requirements must be followed. Better Business Bureau: I have been told by this company that I need to go to my local shop and ask them to use their tools free of charge to check tread depth on these tires. No shop in my area is going to allow me to use their tools free of charge. ****************** / custom offsets seems to think shops just let any random person walk in and use their tools. That's not the case, these auto repair garages have paid for these tools so they can use them to make a living off of. Until I get a guarantee that I'm being reimbursed to redo everything that I've already done, it's not being done a second time. Like I've said in the past I've already paid well over $150 to have five tires Road Force balanced and I've also sent the pictures of the tread depth. The tread depth was clear as day on an actual steel rule that had 30 seconds on it. So all they're trying to do is give me the runaround until I give up and end up having to eat the cost of the tires that I purchased from them that are garbage. Just like a company to try to s**** the little guy.

Again, all that we are asking for here is proper tread depth measurement. A tread depth gauge costs $8 at a local hardware store and as we've mentioned numerous times, including in this complaint, we're happy to help assist towards covering cost involved with warranty claims. This is not a matter of our team trying to delay any warranty and is quite literally a requirement to submit the warranty to the manufacturer. We've previously addressed a complaint from this customer under complaint number ********. Our final response and our firm stance is as follows:
"Again, we reiterate that a test fit was not done and a return can not be completed due to voiding of our policies. As for the matter of compensation, our team offered a credit towards the cost of the work done on the vehicle, not to cover the entire amount. Given that the work was done outside of our recommendation and that we were not made aware of any issues until after the work was done, we are unable to assist in full coverage. To bring this information and cost to us after the fact does not create some obligation towards total reimbursement. We have offered a $200 credit and this offer will stand. At this time, we do consider this matter closed and are firm on the decision that no return or total reimbursement of work done without our recommendation will be due. Thank you."

Made a purchase May 12th, 2025 shipments were delivered to the wrong address, I have coordinated with all parties and am denied a solution, I have tried mediating for all parties and I am done waiting. Fitment industries staff is very friendly however they are not helpful. They are saying they were delivered to the correct address and were left at a garage. However I do not have a garage, they are town homes, I have attatched images below. I even have my address written on my window so delivery drivers know which home is mine. In conclusion they arent willing to refund me and the package was never delivered to the correct address, and all three parties Katapult, Fitment industries, and ***** are unwilling to provide a resolution. Ordered Dec 30, 2024 Purchase cost: $1152.12 Powder coat: $300 Tire mount/balance: $89 Tire re-balance: $20 Road Force readouts: $56 Tire dismount: $71 After one wheel being out of round following immediate vibration after install and rebalance by a local shop, I contacted Fitment Industries about submitting a warranty claim on the defective wheel. The customer service department came back with recommendations to use a reputable tire company, which I did in the form of Discount Tire. They also stated to attempt rotating the tire on the wheel to better match the balance. To accomplish this, I decided to get all of the wheels/tires Road Force balanced at another local shop, ******* Tire, with a Road Force machine. The technician at ******* Tire informed me that all four wheels were out of round and they would not even attempt to balance them. They shared the Road Force readouts and provided a recommendation to submit a warranty claim for all four wheels, not just one. This is when I again contacted Fitment Industries and conveyed my desire to submit a wheel warranty claim. I took the advice of a reputable tire shop here in ******** and there was obviously an issue with the wheel/tire setup, as my car had zero vibrations prior to install. In total, the wheels/tires were on the car less than 200 miles. I had to provide photos and readouts for the claim, then shipped the wheels to Neuspeed, the wheel manufacturer. Upon arrival at their warehouse, one wheel was damaged during shipment but Neuspeed is claiming I damaged the wheel and along with another wheel that had a flat spot. I provided photos prior to shipping and received advice from a wheel/tire professional. I am out nearly $1700 after everything involved and would like resolution. Fitment Industries is not even offering to ship the wheels I purchased back to me.Business Response

There is a bit of a misleading information regarding this complaint. These wheels have been subject to impact damage which can be found in the attached picture. These wheels were delivered on 1/8/25 and we were not made aware of any claimed issues until 3/20/25. We worked with both the manufacturer and customer to return the wheels for inspection and the manufacturer, who provides warranty coverage, found two wheels to be perfectly fine, with no issues of balancing and two others that were out of balance due to impact damage. This is damage that does not suddenly occur and is often caused by road hazards, such as potholes or debris. Road hazard damage is not covered under any warranty hence the warranty being denied. We have offered to return the wheels to the customer granted the cost of shipping is covered as we have covered the costs to send in for inspection. No replacements are due based on the findings by the manufacturer. We are again, more than happy to return said wheels but ask that the cost of return shipping is covered by the customer.Customer Answer

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.There is no misleading information contained in my complaint and I contest that the damage occurred to the wheel while en route to the manufacturer in ********** from my residence in ********. I had to take photographs of each wheel prior to shipment and there is even data associated with each photo to determine the date they were taken, which shows zero visible defects. The wheels were causing an extreme vibration on my vehicle and they were only on the car for less than one tank of gas, or approximately 250 miles. Also, regarding the date of wheel delivery to filing the complaint, these wheels were delivered during winter in ********. I do not drive this vehicle in the winter when the roads are salted and also work during the week, so had to wait until a free weekend with good weather to get the tires mounted. And this was after sending the wheels to get power coated a matching color, as I was sold three wheels in bronze and one in black, so they did not match upon delivery. So yes, there was a delay getting them on my vehicle due to winter, work and power coat timelines.
I assert that there was no damage to the wheels when shipped from my home and have photos to prove it. Additionally, the wheel professional here in ******** that determined the wheels were out of round due to manufacturing defects has offered to support my claim. This shop, ******* Tire in ***********, ********, used their Road Force machine to attempt balancing the wheels/tires and could not perform the work due to how out of round the wheels showed on their machine. They provided me photos of the read outs and offered to speak with the manufacturer or company that sold me the wheels on my behalf. This has not taken place and I keep getting accused of misleading those involved with selling me these wheels.
I am frustrated on the multiple claims of being untruthful with this situation. I would be happy with replacement wheels for the two that were determined defective by the manufacturer, and return the other two that were deemed within tolerances. However, and coincidentally, the wheels have been discontinued and are no longer available. I feel that the manufacturer knew that these wheels were defective and why they only had a few remaining in stock vice a complete set. Also, I should not be held responsible for shipping wheels back to my residence, especially after one was so severely damaged while being shipped to the manufacturer in the first place.

We would be happy to review the photos that are claimed to have been available prior to shipping wheels to confirm that the damage is from shipping. The only photos that we currently have been supplied with are with the tires still mounted and are not incredibly clear which could hide the bend in the one wheel. As for the flat spot in the other wheel, this again, would be related to impact damage. This is reasonable and safe to assume based on the balance reports stating the wheels will not balance and the findings of the manufacturer. I have engaged in three separate conversations with female supervisors who assured me that a resolution would be found. Despite never experiencing any issues with this vendor and consistently being satisfied with their service, I encountered a problem after purchasing tires and wheels from them. They had persuaded me to purchase their set of tires, which offered an affordable warranty and included wheel selection assistance. Over the past three months, I had been making tire selections with their assistance, and they had assured me that the 35 by 12:50 and 22 x 10 wheels would fit my vehicle upon installation. However, upon receiving and installing the wheels, I discovered that they did not fit. I promptly contacted the vendor multiple times and presented them with evidence to support my claim.During one of these conversations, a female supervisor informed me that she would reimburse me for the cost of the tires I had purchased for my truck. However, she later recanted her statement and transferred me to another representative. Subsequently, I have been left in a state of limbo without any resolution.Furthermore, I am currently undergoing cardio rehabilitation due to a severe allergic reaction to an allergy shot that lasted for two and a half weeks. Three weeks into my treatment, I am experiencing difficulties in communicating due to complications from severe anaphylaxis, which I had experienced while hospitalized.Upon reviewing the wheels, I noticed several issues, including a ceramic coat, drips, and damages, as well as wheel imperfections.Business Response

I never had these issues with this company And the lady told me she would call me back and Ive never heard anything back from them and in the meantime on my truck was on the lift I was in and out the hospital And I just got out and they promised me that these tires and wheels would fit and Ive been contacting him for months to help

Wheels took 3x longer to get here than originally quoted. They finally come and they are missing all the lug nuts, adapters and center caps. Cannot get a hold of any live person at this company. No one has an answer on why its missing pieces and where they are. Now my truck is in pieces and no one has an answer after waiting 3 months. My truck is in a thousand pieces and now I am paying to put it all back together since I cannot get an answer from anyone at this company. I sent my own label because the manufacturer told me you guys did not respond to him after several attempts about him trying to get a label from you. Attached are the invoices totaling $1053.05 to get them shipped to me after taking my own time out of my day to make sure you guys did your job correctly. Also, there was only 35 PSI in each tire upon arrival (they require a minimum of 60 PSI). There is also no weights or balance beads in 4 of the tires. It rides terrible. Original attached invoice shows wheel balancing and balance beads included. Now I have to take it to another tire shop and have them all balanced which I paid you for already and you did not do. Please expect another bill from me for that.
