If i could give - stars i would. My Family and I stayed at this resort Memorial day weekend from 5/24/24 5/26/24 .We paid our deposit for our room On 4/10/24. When we arrived we paid the remaining balance on our room . We were also charged a $216 security deposit that was put on my card . The gentleman with a Kane advised that we would be receiving our security deposit a few days after we checked out. He was helping us check in at the kiosk where we also go our wristbands. I call numerous times after check out and asked when i would be receiving my security deposit back and they would say each time 7-14 business days. On the 14th day i called and they advised that the security deposit went towards my room and that i would not be getting back. The point of the wristbands is that they weren't actually put on my card but on my husband’s card instead. Basically there saying i owe for room charge but all our purchases were activated on my wristband linked to my husbands debt card. Kalahari is not helping at all and neither is my bank. I just wanted for my family and I to have a good time but clearly there is always some b.s to deal with. I Should of went to the ********** instead.

Was charged for items that were not take. From snack bar. Its was not more then a $14. Overcharge but its the principle that manager denied me a refund. If we would have taken them i would not mind paying for items i did buy. We spend close to $200. On meals and stuff we did eat, but not the $14. Charge of 2 bottle waters they claim we took.

Went this weekend, it was my dads first time going into this resort and was pretty excited to go on the water rides, specially on Master Blaster. We waited for over an hour, and when it was our turn to ride, they made us weigh ourselves and they didnt allow him to ride it, when in the beginning of the ride it states that you can ride up to 400lbs combined, to clarify my dad weights 200lbs and he was going to ride with my sister who weights 80lbs. The employee who assisted us said he couldnt ride it, then my dad begged if he could just ride it by himself, the rude employee with an attitude said no, youre too heavy to ride it that not only made my dad upset, but it triggered his anxiety and depression, but just that fact that we WAITED FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR JUST SO THE EMPLOYEE SAID YOURE TOO HEAVY. It just made this experience 0/10. If they want to make things better, they should change that policy that its posted on the beginning of the ride and change the wording since thats is false advertising by stating that you can ride up to 400lbs combine. If youre going to weigh people, do it on the beginning of the ride thats way we dont have to be waiting for OVER AN HOUR JUST TO BE TOLD THAT YOU CANT RIDE IT!!!!!!!!

My child threw up all over himself and his car seat six minutes before we arrived at Kalahari. We had also forgotten his suitcase at home, so he had no clothes to change into and his seat was unusable. I asked the front desk if there was a hose we could use to wash off his seat and we were told no. I asked if we could get a bucket of water. I waited for a bucket and then a manager directed us to the edge of the property for a hose. We went in with his dirty clothes and car seat padding and bought a swimsuit for him to wear at the park. We put our luggage in the room. We were told we could use laundry facilities later. At the end of the day we went to wash his clothes and the machines are coin operated. My partner asked to buy quarters and he was told Kalahari is cashless. He continued to ask for quarters and was told there arent any. He stood in the lobby asking guests for change, to no avail. I called the front desk and was told I could drive around town and ask businesses for quarters. I could barely sleep that night because I was worried about my son not being able to use his car seat. In the morning I spoke with the front desk who told me more of the same. A manager said I could buy quarters off of her bank bag. I said since they are cashless they should just open the w/d and give me quarters to use. She said I had to buy quarters from her. I spent half of the trip stressing out about being able to get my kid back safely because Kalahari is cashless except for the w/d which only takes cash. I experienced an incredible amount of stress over this poorly managed laundry issue that Kalahari should have resolved immediately.

I would give it no stars if I could . Worst experience ever . The staff is incompetent , rude and disrespectful .There were inconsistencies between staff members which cause my daughter to Do the water slides one day but then not be allowed another day.We were hounded about ** eating even though we explained we keep kosher and cannot eat the restaurant food and they brought security and flavored my Children .We were also never informed about a policy of no hot plate and charged $350 after our stay . I explained our kosher situation and Needling to Cook for my kids and the staff was absolutely unhelpful and downright rude . This is NOT a family friendly resort . I will not be returning but hope other parents see this as well.Great wolf lodge is a much better option for a family friendly resort .

Went to the Kalahari in the dells for a convention not first time here. Staff at counter were rude arguing with me about the credit card not matching, if they had another card number, it would have to have been from previous stay, and shouldn't be on file Last year had extremely bad service for a waitress at ivory coast. When I checked out informed front desk & also about damaged cabinet and couch issues in room. also sent email.. NO RESPONSE! This time after front desk episode asked for coffee because we didn't have room made up....NOPE. THen to top everything off when we got home found out they charged us for an extra day and $60 for towels We don't use the waterpark so only used towels in room and they're not so great that I'd want them. After checking out we shopped for at least !/2 hour to 45 minutes went to the rest room and pulled out of property by 12:00. I was never informed of check out time or that it was that strictly followed I've had to wait hours for my room and finally get at 4:00. Have sent emails this year and last about problems and over charges .... Still no response. Not planning on staying here again. BAnquet staff is great. but these charges need to be taken off my card! If this manages to get a response I'll be surprised but they can answer at
