I would like to say thank you to Anthony and Roger at the Neenah location. They are always so very kind, informative and helpful! Always very accommodating of my schedule and offering their shuttle services to make my appointments most convenient and efficient. I have been taking my vehicles (***** *** *********) to Auto Select in Neenah for over 5 years and have never had an issue with them. Anthony is quite knowledgeable and lets me know what is wrong the the vehicle(s) and how serious the problem is. I started using Auto Select when Anthony moved there from another company; it's actually further for me to drive, but that's how much I trust his/their judgement; I have been working with Anthony for over 15 years.Auto Select, Inc. They do quality work, give honest evaluation of your vehicles needs and genuinely care about your vehicles safety and condition. first of all me and my whole family we all go to the auto select in neenah if we have any issues with our cars, But recently i took my 2008 infiniti g35x to auto select in neenah and have them look at my car because the interior lights wasnt working And the license plate lights weren’t working... but while my car was there they told me i need to get my catalytic converter Fixed and i got it fixed spent around 1500$ on it but when i picked up my car there was a check engine light on. I told them And they looked at it and RESET The check engine light and told me to come back if it turns on again. So i left with my car and brought it back the next hour because the check engine light turned on again and they reset again and told me to come back the next day if its still there. So i brought my car back to them the next day, NOW they told me i need to replace catalytic sensors too and i would have to leave my car there because they had busy schedule.. understandable BUT IN NIGHT TIME WHEN I GOT DONE WITH WORK AND I WAS DRIVING PAST AUTO SELECT IN NEENAH I DIDNT SEE MY CAR THERE IN THE PARKING ALOT OR IN THE GARAGE. I have the PICTURES AND VIDEO PROOF and i could sleep all night knowing someone is out there driving my car pushing on it or misusing it because its NOT THEIR PROPERTY when i confront them the next day about my car not being there lastnight “they kept refusing said they parked it in the church parking alot because their parking lot was full, but wholetime the parking lot wasnt even fully full there was still 3 to 4 car parking spots were empty in the parking alot.. and i even paid for the sensors and have them put it on my car.. so my girlfriend can finally drive my car but the check engine lights was still on.. so i left and brought my car to the bergstrom and They kept my car there for week and test every single part on my car and they said the check engine light is keep turning on because of the bad catalytic convertor PART that auto select put in.

****, We have reviewed and compared your concerns with our records, many of the details don't line up with those that were explained at the time of repair. We'd be happy to go review those with you again. We "DO NOT" allow the use of customers' vehicles to our staff. As previously explained, our parking lot was under construction therefore all of our customer's vehicles were being parked in the lot adjacent to ours at St. ********************* during that time. We have documentation and photos that refute your claims and feel your negative claims are more than disingenuous.Review from Diane Z

I contacted Auto Select on Church Street in Stevens Point WI because they allegedly fixed my brakes in early January and now I have no brakes again. I contacted them through their website to schedule an appointment and stated I wanted communications to be via email. They called me 5 times and I still don't have an appointment scheduled. I have told them I cannot take phone calls at work or make phone calls from work and that is why I want communications to be via email. I have told them where my car will be located from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. so they can pick it up and work on it. I also told them, since this is a brake issue and they should have fixed it in January, that I would not be paying for the repair. They, of course, called me. This is not a reputable company and is unwilling to fix an issue that should have been fixed when the brakes were allegedly fixed. I believe the issue is a broken brake line. Something they should have seen in January and repaired. Be cautious when doing business with this company. They only do minimal repairs in hopes you have to come back to have issues they didn't want to do fixed.

We DID make the mistake of trying to call ************* in an effort to get her vehicle repaired. We since have made multiple attempts to contact her by email. We have simply asked when we could pickup, where the vehicle would be parked & where her keys would be. She has responded where & when- just need to know where keys will be. We definitely do not want to disturb anything in her car looking for them. We replaced front & rear, brake pads, ****************** Clearly stated to ************* that if any repairs that were performed were incorrect or there was a failed new part- repairs would be covered. If there was a brake line that failed since repairs- we would need to discuss further. We would definitely not repair anything that passed the initial inspection. Unfortunately, as with all things, there can be unforeseen problems. We will continue to work through this with **************.Customer Response

Auto Select lied about my not responding to their emails. They also lied about telling me they would pick up my car to repair it. They wanted me to drop it off on 2.17.22 either in the morning or afternoon to check. I do not trust this company since they cannot tell the truth. I have email verification of our conversations. They refuse to take responsibility for not fixing my brakes properly. I will be taking my vehicle somewhere more reputable to get the brakes fixed and will submit the **** to Auto Select. I hate liars and companies who refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. This company should have, at best, a C+ rating, not an A+.Review from Geno E

******, on February 4th at 10:08am you entered our shop and requested us to diagnose the cause of a coolant leak and your fog lights not working on your 2013 **** Explorer with 3.5L engine and ****** miles on it. The manager of our shop, Jaramey, explained the electrical inspection cost and process and the cooling system pressure test cost and process and then had you sign the document with both inspections clearly notated including the total estimated cost of $167.72 for both inspections including sales tax. We performed the testing and provided you with a verbal estimate for the recommended repairs to which you declined further repairs. You were given a detailed invoice explaining our testing and findings and your credit card payment was processed at 12:05pm with your in-person signature. We are unsure as to why your displeasure was not expressed throughout any of this process but only several hours after you had left our shop with your truck but we don't see how we could've done better for you?Review from Joseph S.

I went to auto select weston for what I thought was a misfire. They looked at my truck and told me my timing had jumped and I needed a new engine which would cost around $5000. I went and paid the $55 diagnostic fee and took it to a different shop for a second opinion. The second shop replaced my spark plugs and my truck runs like new for 1/10th of the price. I'm just concerned that this has happened to multiple people that dont know any better or just agreed to have the work done."Auto Select, Inc. Response

Joseph, on April 20th you asked us check your 2007 Ford F150 with a 5.4L engine and 168,000 miles on it, for a Rough Running engine and a Check Engine Light on. Prior to bringing the truck to us, for some reason you disconnected the battery which cleared all Diagnostic Test Codes (DTCs), Current, pending, or history, and turned off the Check Engine Light. On our initial vitals check we found no existing DTCs, Oil level full, Antifreeze level full, Battery test passed, and Charging System test passed. On the initial test drive, with a Scan Tool hooked up to your truck, we were unable to set any pending DTCs throughout the drive. We did perform a cylinder contribution test which tests one cylinder at a time and measures fuel rate among the other cylinders to see if there is a weak cylinder. No DTCs were set during that test which indicated misfires across all cylinders, not just cylinder #3 that you mentioned. We checked your Oil Pressure which was on the low side of Ford specifications at 15 - 20 psi at operating temperature. As the engine warmed up, the oil pressure dropped and Timing Components got noisy, thus our concerns about worn or broken timing components. A new set of Spark Plugs isn't going to bring that motor back to like new condition. Our suggestion to you was was to be CAUTIOUS investing much, if any money in a 14 year old engine / truck with 168,000 miles and these symptoms. I did not prepare a $5000 estimate to replace the motor. In fact, I didn't try to sell you anything nor did I ask you to agree to anything. Our goal is to look out for the best interest of our clients and make the best professional decision we can with the information available, so you don't waste your money. In addition, I only charged you $57 for all our diagnostic time, which makes getting your 1-star review even more frustrating. Only time will tell how much life truly remains in your engine.
