I have lived in the WestGrove apartments for ** years. Five years ago, I moved from the upstairs apartment #** to apartment #9 below me due to my inability to walk stairs. I have multiple sclerosis, diabetes, 4th stage liver disease, and chronic sinus infections. Since I had moved to *************************** my health began to deteriorate. In The spring of 2021, I had two bouts of pneumonia and at least three different sinus infections. In April 2021, I ended up in the icu on life support, almost died, and Has been hospitalized two other times since. It was during my ICU time that my daughter found out I had mold. Amold testing kit from ********** confirmed there was indeed mold. When investigating you can find black mold in almost every corner of this apartment, blackmold Is very dangerous! Underneath the sink in the bathroom We found so much black mold growing, and realized It was due to the sink leaking. Maintenance confirmed there is leaking from my bathroom into the garage below, because my bathtub has holes in the it. Even though They said it was bad and needed to be replaced, yet they just painted over the holes. And to my knowledge they did nothing to fix the leaking in the garage.This management has done nothing to fix the problem , and even the new management that started a few months ago has done nothing. When I showed them the black mold kit they kept it and wont give back. There is so much mold here, its coming out of the heating ducks, through the outlets in the walls, and even in the bathtub and toilet. I am almost positive that all of my sinus infections and cases of pneumonias reported due to this mold. My doctor has confirmed that It is highly probable my pneumonia and sinus infections are due to inhaling blackmold. There is also a chance that my other health issues have been made worse due to the black mold. It has caused burning eyes, runny noses, respiratory issues and who knows what else. I want ********************** for suffering.
