    I purchased (2) exterior flood lights for my business sign. When I purchased the lights I called in and spoke to a sales rep who helped me with picking out the light I thought I needed. I had to pay a shipping cost of $14.95 for standard ***** shipping. I actually received the shipment 2 - 3 weeks late. When I received the order, each light was individually boxed, so I opened one to discover it had wiring connected to it. I instantly knew this was not the type of light I needed, but wanted to confirm with the company who installed the flood lights, They also, confirm just by looking at the light it was not the correct light. So far the only activity with the order was when I took it out of the box to look at it. I notified e-conolight and stated I would like to return the lights because they were the wrong type of lights. I was told as long as the light was being returned in the condition it was sent I could get a refund with 25% restock fee because it was beyond 30 days. Not a problem because I knew no one had touched the light but me, when I took it out of the box to look at it. Once e-conolight received the return, I was emailed by ***** indicating I would not receive a refund for the light I took out of the box because the wires were twisted. This was alarming to me because the wires were not disturbed in anyway and the only thing I did was put in back in the box to return to e-conolight. I feel this is e-conolight strategy to not loose a complete sale by being dishonest about the condition of the item upon return. It should not be a lost to the customer if the item was returned exactly how it was sent. Please bring awareness to the unethical act e-conolight is trying to get away with. The condition of the lights according to the picture ***** sent me, is not the condition I returned them in. The twisting of these wires was done by someone with in e-conolight and not me.

    We received the attached complaint, and I wanted to follow up with you to advise that we did credit the customer the cost of the order complete.

    Company refuses to stand behind warranty of a product that I purchased from them. After I have told of them of the problem, the have refused to respond to my emails over the course of the past ~5 months. My concern is that they are waiting until the product's warranty expires before they answer me, only to tell me that the product is no longer under warranty.

    We are working with this customer and are honoring his warranty request.  We no longer offer the particular fixture he had, but are working on a suitable warranty replacement.  If you have any other questions please let us know.
