We are in the process of building a new home at ******************** in *******. A new tank was placed on our property and shortly after it was installed, it was filled and we began using the propane to power a boiler and heater in our new house (The temperature being set at 64 degrees.). After two weeks of running the tank was completely drained (740 dollars worth of propane) and we had to have an emergency fill. Our general contractor, felt that there must be a leak and called WK Appliance out to check. It was discovered that the cap on the top of the regulator was loose and had been leaking. This information was shared with our contractor by a WK Employee.The Manager of WK Appliance stated that the reason the tank had been drained was because of the boiler system in our house. In speaking with our general contractor and installer of the boiler, ***'s information is simply not correct. It is a high efficiency boiler and there is no way that it would burn through 500 gallons in 2 weeks of operation. He stated "your contractor told us that the boiler had been running for almost a month.". I confronted my general contractor and he informed me that they "are lying."I asked to speak to the owner of WK Appliance and the manager said he would pass my request along. That was 10 days ago. I have sent WK three emails requesting a call from the Owner ***********************-spaced 24 hours apart and no one has responded to me. Somehow, a portion of $1,000 worth of propane disappeared from my tank and as I've stated to both WK and my general contractor, it doesn't really matter how this happened. because at the end of the day I'm the one left holding the bill for $1,000. WK needs to make this right.**** Manager is doing them a grave disservice in the way he treats customers, the level of customer service he is able to provide, and his questionable ability to tell the truth.They need to make this right and I am very disappointed.
