    Hired for tree and fallen tree removal. One tree in particular is rotten and split. This was one of the focal point trees. It was not cut or removed. The concern was the split would fall and perhaps cause injury - this indeed happened only days after the work was done and paid for. I called and texted the owner multiple times with replies promising to take care of this. 3 weeks later - nothing. The job was not completed to our mutual agreement and follow up promised, all failed. Owner was paid in full the following day of the main job.

    On August 2, 2023, **** from Brady Tree Service came out to discuss trimming a large elm tree in my backyard. I had received his flyer in my mailbox. He came over and verbally gave me prices and talked about the process and said he would be in touch in about a week. I went into the house, called his office, and asked the receptionist for a written quote, which I did receive.On August 5, I had another tree service over for a discussion of their process and price. While the second companys process was more complicated and much safer, the price was substantially lower. They talked about involving the neighbors, calling WEnergies, and the fact that if I accepted the job from them, they would not touch the tree until fall for fear of exposing the tree to elm disease. However, I still had a third company coming to discuss this matter on my calendar.To my shock and surprise, when I came home from work on Tuesday, August 8, there was a huge pile of tree debris on my front sidewalk and patch of grass next to the street. In order pass my home people needed to walk into the street! I ran to the backyard to see the tree was trimmed. I called ***** company and explained the situation to the receptionist telling her that I did not give permission and she seemed sympathetic and surprised herself.Later **** called and claimed that I verbally agreed, which I did not. I still had two other companies coming to discuss.**** wants to discuss this issue with me and is being a bit threatening. My worry is now about the tree being exposed to elm disease. This tree is probably 150 to 200 years old, and was healthy. It just needed trimming but that needed to wait to be done when the weather is cooler.What a mess. I hope my tree will be okay, but I dont know.**** jumped the gun thinking he was going to get fast money. He never called to say he was sending his crew or to see if I wanted to proceed. I signed nothing and I never agreed to his services.

    We had Bradys tree service come out to access our tree removal. They quoted us and then did the job. VERY UNSAFE. These people pulled up in a truck and did not even know how to start a chain saw. They broke our mailbox during this time and did not even have the heart to tell us. We had it replaced as ******************* one of the owners agreed to pay the bill for a new mailbox. It has almost been two months and we have not received the compensation and the full job has not been completed. We have constantly been calling and texting and they keep saying it will happen but never does. They were disrespectful to us during this entire process and trying asking for more money when we had already paid the full amount. The removal of the debris took 2 weeks when we told that they would be there the day after the removal of the trees. Then it took a month and a half for the stumps to get grinded. I wish that I would have gone with a different company who did not have the horrible reviews they do. We used them as a neighbor in our area did and they put flyers in our mailboxes. WE JUST WANT THE MAILBOX INVOICE TO BE REIMBURSED AND FOR THE COMPANY TO BE SHUT DOWN OR LOOKED INTO.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 

    This company needs to be looked into. They took three plus months to get the money that was owned to us. I have posted on social media about their horrible business. Many agree they have had similar issues that this is a fraud of a company!
