Terrible company. My loan was for $23,862.46... I've been paying $340 every month since and my balance is now $23,019.43....at this rate, it'll never be paid off. This is a predatory company. They don't show you the interest rates either, so be aware. Seriously, do not use this company! You'll never get out of it. I also pay my payment on time EVERY month and now I apparently have a $10 fee tacked onto this current statement with no reason as to what it's for?!

Beware monthly statements, payments and interest dues do not calculate correctly. Our payments started in February and it is now April and somehow $450 of our payment is interest due even though we paid $3350 in payments already. They do not have an option for principal payments either which in itself is untrustworthy. Instead our next due date is for January of 2025. I suggest not financing through foundation finance and securing your own personal loan. We got our windows done with Power and they financed through foundation finance company.

A member of our account servicing team will reach out to discuss with you. Foundation contracts are "simple interest" contracts. Your Truth-in-Lending disclosures show the total interest you would pay and total repayment time if you make only the minimum payments on the exact due dates. Paying early or extra will reduce the time to repay and total interest repaid. In the case of a larger payment, interest due is collected first and the remainder does reduce your principal balance so that for the next period, interest is accruing on a lower principal amount. Your due date will also advance. While you are not required to make a payment until January 2025 based on what you have already paid, interest continues to accrue between payments. We can share your statement of account with you so you can review with any trusted banker to show this is accurate.

I have a loan with them as I had my shower done last year. My original balance was 11k. After a year it has only gone down to 10,200. Of course there are 3 different balance amounts on the statement. It is very deceiving. I called back in Nov to have someone explain why this amount hasn't gone down. My monthly payment due was 152 but I was making 200 a month payment. The lady tried to explain and even said if I wanted to make a principal payment I could at anytime. My recent statement shows I am not due to pay them until July 1 as I am far ahead of payments. This doesn't reflect on my statement though. I called them today to make a one time payment for principal of 5k. They wanted to charge an extra 69.00 for interest. They said their system isn't setup for just principal payment. After a long discussion with the manager I agreed to do that and wanted to use a credit card on it that doesn't charge interest for a year. They said they only can do payments through checking or savings acct. Only the accounts in delinquency can do cc payment. So I told the guy basically the guy who pays his bills gets screwed, he laughed and agreed. I later made a payment for 4k. I will wait a few days an actually see what the balance is then. These guys will screw you out of your money. I will be paying this company off asap. I will probably still get screwed on interest payment. I want them to send me a copy of the contract. I didn't know it was a 10 year deal. They blamed that on the dealer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Worst company ever!!! Please DO Not do business with them, they are money hungry! I started out with $23,000. I've been paying $355.41 a month for a year and my total is still $22,000 !!!!! Only 1k less....I would not recommend my worst enemy to this company!!! Their interest rates must be extremely high, or something isn't right!!! I hope a customer sues them and we all get refunded for extra charges....Foundation Finance I hope they get sued and lose their business....I absolutely hate this company!!! The owners ought to be ashamed......I'm hoping I can eventually get a personal loan to pay off them off. Just seems like I'll be paying on this forever!

Our office has tried to reach you to review your Truth-in-Lending disclosures and summary of account but has been unable. Please reach out to an account servicing manager at ************ at your convenience. Foundation offers simple interest accounts. Your annual percentage rate (as disclosed in your TIL disclosures) is broken into a daily periodic rate which is applied to the principal balance which is multiplied by the number of days since your last payment to determine the interest due on each payment. Your TIL disclosures show the total interest and time to repay if you make only the scheduled payments on your due date each month. Paying early can reduce interest/total repaid and paying late can increase interest repaid and extend the time to repay. We are happy to walk through this with you and provide a statement of account that you can share with any trusted banker.

Two years ago I needed a roof replacement, the Hero company offered me to draw up an agreement through the service group fund, I opened the year without delays, but my loan was not transferred, the loan was in the amount of 22 thousand, and in two years it was reduced by only one thousand, I think this is a scam, I regret that I didnt read the reviews about these monsters earlier. If I had known who I was getting involved with, I would never have signed a contract with them.

DONT DO IT! DONT take a loan with this company!Ive been paying for 9 months on this loan originally $36.236.00. The balance has only gone down $700 with payments at $451.00. The total account Balance as of today 3/8/25 is $35,535.00. This doesnt make any sense at all. Im not a mathematician but your math isnt adding up. Some of the interest payments have gone from $52.00 to $400. WTH?

With a daily simple interest account, your annual interest rate is broken into a daily periodic rate that is applied to the unpaid principal balance. Due to payment timing vs. the billing statement cutoff date, one recent statement reflected 5 days of interest due while another reflected 34. We are happy to explain this when we reach out and to provide a statement of account as needed.

HORIBBLE!!!! Wish never done business with this company. First, let me stated by stating I have been making my payments on time since my contract started. Then I had a situation to accrue and i made my payment late. I get court paper in the mail that this company has put a lien on my property. Secondly, I called and spoke to a rep name ****** regarding how is my payments are being allocated. I pay over my amount due. I requested that my overage be applied to my principle and not the interest.. He informs me that i am being charge a periderm interest each day from that time my statement in mailed out. This interest that is NOT listed on my monthly statement (which they can't provide in writing) and is more than what is listed on my statement. I requested documentation to suppose the interest and what exactly what I am being billed for, they can't provide that in writing. Mr. ****** will tell me i would have to pay more if I want more to be applied to my principle. I am already paying way more the what my monthly statement said I owe. REALLY!! This company is displaying illegal action. You are suppose to be able to show everything on my statement. You also can't pull this information on their website either. At this rate and with this practice I will never pay off my loan. There should be some legal action ramification. If there was anything below a 1star I would have giving them that.

There seems to be a misunderstanding of how a "simple interest" contract works. The per diem is not in addition to your interest rate - it is the annual interest rate you agreed to broken down into the daily periodic rate and applied to the principal balance for that day. Ive already had a few projects funded by this company and every single one has been a great experience. Nothing but good things to say about Foundation finance. And the customer support team is awesome. They always answer the phone ready to help.
