Honestly the worst this business needs to be shut down how they take advantage of people and they don't do what they say when they tell u they will work with ya on your account

We spoke with this customer in July of this year. At that time, they were offered a program to help them with their account. The program was accepted by them, and we have had no further issues raised by the consumer until now. We would be happy to discuss the account at length, and can be reached at **************.

No problems until their update on the 20th of November. Now I can't log in, reach anyone by phone, nor will it let me change password. I hope that my payment that will be late doesn't ruin my credit score. Been paying early for over two years and am almost paid off and this happens with no way to reach them.

Nightmare! Between 03/21-07/21 Belmont reported late payments although the we paid bi-weekly. I contacted them and also disputed with no success. We called Belmont back and asked for the pay off amount so that we could be done with them. They gave us the amount, we paid and closed the account in in July 2021. We recieved a letter from them confirming that the account was PAID IN FULL/closed. Not only did they CONTINUE to report it late for the following months, after it was closed.. They also charged the account off and reported it as "charged off/ settled for less". I have spent a year trying to get belmont to fix this. I recently spoke with Manny at their collections office (McNeil & myers). He told me that the pay off amount they originally gave me was "incorrect" and that I still owed them $216 more. Belmont said if I was willing to pay this "remaining" amount they would submit an "AUD" with the credit bureaus to fix the incorrect charge off/settlement they were reporting. We did not believe we owed this and it was their fault for giving us the "wrong pay off amount". But we are in the process of buying a home & the incorrect credit reporting was hurting our score so we decided to pay it as a quick fix. I even received an email confirming they would fix it upon payment. We paid the $216 and I got a notification today that belmont made changes to our report. Belmont did not change the late payments. They removed the charge offs for Sept & October and replaced it with a 120+ late payment (the account was paid off and closed in JULY!) This caused our score to drop 17 points! Disqualifying us for our mortgage program. After reading the reviews on this company it seems like belmont is known for giving "incorrect pay off amounts". We plan to sue Belmont for violating FCRA requirements for accurate reporting and instead, knowingly and carelessly reporting false information that has negatively effected our lives and our ability to pursue credit with another company.

Predatory Lenders!!! Belmont Finance is partners with New England Air Solutions. The two companies blame each other for their indiscretions and non-disclosures. They sell the product on a deferred basis without disclosing that the interests and penalties accrue during the deferral. The only reason I discovered this deceit was I tried paying off the purchase after six months and was refused by a Belmont representative. Then, I contacted New England Air Solutions to rectify the issue, and they never returned my calls. The only way I could get the attention of Belmont was to stop paying the monthly payment after six months. Two months later, Belmont starts collection actions, and calls none stop. Calls four to five times daily, texting and emailing. Finally, I took a call that was being recorded after they lied and reported to the credit bureaus that I had a balance that was never paid since the original credit was established. My credit dropped 47 points. I told the rep on the recorded call they would not get payment until they rectified my credit and account. Initially, I called to get a payoff balance but was refused. What a scam. I am sure they were expecting the finance fees these the refusal of a payoff.

Belmont Finance, LLC, is not partnered with any other business. The terms of this loan were verified with the consumer at the inception of the loan. Our loans have no pre-payment penalties, and the consumer may choose to pay the loan in full at any time. Our call logs do not correlate with the consumer's claim of non-stop calls. We report accurate information to the credit bureaus on the last day of each month.

Paid my account off with their 3rd party company. They are still saying I owe money when I have the satisfaction of account letter, keeps tanking my credit with “missed payments” when I’ve already paid the account off. Will never recommend this company.

Belmont does not advise of a daily interest rate charge and we never received a contract my emails go back multiple years and there is no contract, you end up paying double what the item is worth

Terms of the contract were verified with the customers at the inception of the loan. Customers also verified that they received a copy of their contract at this time.

THEY ARE VERY HARASSING AND THEY WONT SEND STATEMENTS. I HAVE ASKED CONTINUOUSLY FOR MY STATEMENTS AND CONTRACT AND GET NOTHING. THEY LOVE TACKING ON LATE FEES AND OTHER FEES WITH NO EXPLANATION

This company is no different than payday loans that pushes people to bankruptcy. They lie, and teach young adults how to lie and take advantage of people. They don't even think one day their own children could be the victim. It is because of people like these US is facing so much homelessness and poverty. They are excellent in lying and misleading customers about their product. I would give them 4 star in deception to make a buck while pretending to be such a good people. But they are no different then a thief with a pretty face. They will sale their mother if they could.

We are sorry that the customer feels this way. We ********************* a loan for them, at their request, and have nothing to do with the product.

Paid off my loan and was told I owed interest and late fees

Belmont Finance has no record of the customer contacting us for a payoff amount, and we received an incorrect amount to completely payoff the loan.We request that the consumer contacts us at ************, Option 2, to discuss this further.
