1 starI applied for an apartment through this company located at *** ******** ******* ************* ************. I had read the reviews I decided to pull out because the reviews were very scary & wanted my self & son to be in a not only safe area, but safe home. This week coming up will be three weeks that I have attempted to get back my deposit which they refused to return but every time I call they tell me it has been sent out! Next step my attorney & court. The reviews were so true when someone or several people said beware they like to keep peoples money and not return it so sad because when they took my money, they literally took it out immediately but now I can’t get my money back and I have been given nothing back excuses, and lies.Lexington Management, LLC

1 starProbably the worst place to ever live. When we first moved in it was dirty and they didn't even have the whole apartment fixed from the previous tenants. Maintenance takes forever to repair and when they do fix it, it is either the wrong thing or they break it more. Example, shower in the master bathroom (we made sure we told them which one) was having issues with the water not being hot enough. Put in a request and they came in maybe a month later and "fixed" the one in the hallway and the master no longer had any hot water. Put in a second request and took then another month to come out to fix it. Another example, started having issues with the toilet seal being bad. Put in a request for the master toilet, and they repaired the sink... They also cheaped out on snow removal our last year after raising rent. Very unsafe conditions with snow being cleared days later and ice everywhere and surprised no one was injured. The move out process was awful had around 15 showings and felt like we didn't get to enjoy our apartment for the last 2 months we lived there. After doing the final move out they came up with a list of issues 90% them being dust. Charged us $400 for 4 people to clean for 2 for dust, no damages either. Also tried getting us to pay for carpet cleaning after telling us they were going to replace the carpet that should of been replaced years ago. Charged us for light bulbs, because they weren't the ones they wanted, and never provided a list of what to replace with, just said they had to match. This was taken care of after we fought the charges. Charged us to fix the drains even after it said on the first final inspection it was good and then after we fought the charges they created another inspection that stated maintenance needed to check. We we ended up having to pay more than our security deposit and had to deal with rude people who took forever to respond back. Would give 0/10 stars if I can would would never recommend these apartments to anyone.Lexington Management, LLC

The follow is a reply to Mr. ******** review:After doing the final move out they came up with a list of issues 90% them being dust.1.Floors Throughout the unit the vinyl floors needed to be cleaned 2.Appliances The inside and the outside of the refrigerator, microwave, oven, washer, and dryer are all visibly dirty with food particles, crumbs, dust, hair, and residue in the photos shown in the final inspection. Each appliance can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on the size, cleaning needed...etc 3.In the kitchen there were the following items left behind: waffle iron, trash, ******* Wrap, boxes of baggies, tools, a drawer full of hot pads, books, straw, food particles, spatula, plastic containers which means none of these drawers and cabinets were cleaned at all 4.Baseboards and Trim Throughout the unit the baseboards and trim were heavily dusty and built up. This can be a very time-consuming task to clean.5.Bathrooms The toilets are visibly dirty with hair, marks, and waste particles. There are marks and residue on the sinks and countertops. Both the shower and tub showed stains and soap scum that needed to be cleaned 6.Light switches & outlets the switches throughout the unit show marks, food residue and dirt build up 7.** Units The ** had dust built up and needed to be cleaned 8.Patio door showed dirt marks and the tracks had built up dirt 9.Garage The garage flooring showed stains, marks, and dirt build up. Additionally, the door and outlet/switch was visibly dirty and needed to be cleaned Charged us to fix the drains even after it said on the first final inspection it was good and then after we fought the charges they created another inspection that stated maintenance needed to check This is not true. The final inspection always stated maintenance needed to check the drains. The move out process was awful had around 15 showings and felt like we didn't get to enjoy our apartment for the last 2 months we lived there. This is also not true. There were only 5 days that there were scheduled showings, not 15.Although we are grateful for his 2 year tenancy with us, it is unfortunate that the move out inspection did not go as perhaps he had hoped. We wish ****************** the best in his new home!Review fromEmma M

2 starsWe loved the large space. The apartment itself was very spacious and in reasonable condition. Our biggest problem was with management. **************** was far from actual management and they were highly unavailable. The worst instance was when the heat went out for many days over the Christmas holiday during negative temperatures. There was zero communication about when it would be fixed. After multiple attempts to contact we received and tiny space heater that barely did anything. I understand that it was around a holiday, but it had gotten to a dangerous point. We were happy with the space we got for the price, but if their rates go up much higher I would not recommend these apartments.Lexington Management, LLC

****, our records show that you called our offices on 12/23/23 and spoke with our facilities department. You reported that there was no heat. Our vendor, *************, was dispatched to the property that same day. You were also given a standard sized space heater in the interim. All of this means you were able to easily reach us by phone, that someone from our staff visited you personally with a space heater, and that the vendor was out to fix the problem all in a professional, timely manner. To say there was "zero communication" and "highly unavailable" is simply not true. We wish only the best for you in your new home.Review fromTessa N

1 starI would leave a 0 star if I could. I understand that there are agreements to pay for things after move out but Lexington gives you absolutely no leeway. The things they charged me for are outrageous. I lived in my unit for 3 years, multiple service requests submitted and only about half her addressed. They were TERRIBLE to work with. Having to pay for a professional cleaning for carpet that they then charged me $600 to replace. There was absolutely no damage they are claiming it had. I had told I was getting a new fridge before move in. That never happened. They charged me for a cracked rack in the refrigerator that was there when I moved in. They make you replace every light bulb in the unit when moving out which is absolutely ridiculous. We pay though the nose to live in their units that have cracks in the walls, spiders and mold. DO NOT waste your time and money with these terrible people who treat their residents like trash.Review fromKatie K

1 starI fully understand we signed a lease reading all terms, but after moving in, it was a battle with management about every topic they didnt like, or if we had issues within our unit. Being yelled at for command strips, quiet hours, guest parking, being forced to have 9 hours open during the day if maintenance or management needed to come in for something, and fighting with them about kenneling my *** cats for 9 hours, which was never going to happen. I had an indoor camera which showed management walking all around our unit with their shoes on, bringing in excessive people to look at replacing the carpet for the next tenant, and those guests of management being a bit too comfortable staring around at our property, and not the floor for the carpet. I unfortunately had the experience of a negative co-tenant abandoning responsibility of cleaning to obtain our security deposit back, and when discussing with management, specifically ******, was met with rudeness, confusion, and like always, its corporates issue, not ours. Being sent threatening letters about odor disturbance on our entire building floor, threatened with fines about almost anything you can think of, and yet they pry and beg to see where you moved to next and beg you to come live at the property once your lease ends. For 4 days, teenagers were using the underground shared garage as an auto body shop, and property manager ***** did not take action about it until multiple tenants reached out stating the stairs were blocked, there was oil on the ground, and we wanted the vehicle towed. Definitely no positive environment found at Cobblestone Creek. I read another review and laughed because my friends and family would say the same, that we lived in a glorified Dorm housing building. It may be a little cheaper in this area, but I wouldnt recommend Cobblestone Creek or the sister apartments Fountain Ridge to anyone. I lived there for 1 year to the date exactly.Lexington Management, LLC

*****,It is disheartening to read this review, and we are sorry to hear your experience at Cobblestone Creek was not up to your expectations. The staff on site was also surprised to read this review and stated that all of the interactions with you were pleasant. I see that you received your deposit back in full, minus your final water bill. I realize that you have already moved out so there is little we can do to resolve any outstanding issues, but we wish you only the best. Thank you for being a valued resident.Review fromRebecca H

1 starI have rented at Oak Meadows for 9 years and finally left after giving their 2 month notice I was suppose to give. I got a 1000 dollar bill for bogus charges against me. The garage key they told me I was suppose to give back never existed. In winter time the front of the apartments flooded and froze making it a safety issue. The secure front door never locked. The drain pipe from the roof fell down and was never replaced. The garbage disposal that was never used was changed to me for replacement. They showed my apartment 3 times while I was in the middle of moving with only a 12 hr notice only sent to my email. I am glad I am out of this place they are thieves and do not deserve to be in businessLexington Management, LLC

We appreciate the time you spent with us at ****************** and wish you all the best in your new home.I have reviewed your formal dispute with our company, which is different than this review. Dear ***, we regret that your application was not able to be approved. Our records show that after your application was denied the refund of your ******* money was initiated right away. In the letter from our applications department, you were informed that the refund can take a minimum of 7 business days from the date of payment. This is due to banking institutions and their process and time frame. Before we can initiate a refund, the transaction must be approved between banks. You paid the ******* money on 2/22/2023, and your refund was sent 3/3/2023, which is 7 business days. We wish you well in your future endeavors.Review fromKaty T

1 starFebruary 21, 2023 Lexington Management, On February 15, 2022 I believe that Lexington has committed several violations in accordance with ********* State Laws. There have also been several other instances that the behavior of Lexington Management has been highly questionable . Lexington management came to the ******** dr ******** on February 15 ***** ( ***************** they knocked on the door , and we (the parents) did not hear them , in the meanwhile My 5 Year old son went to the door because he thought his grandmother was at the home . **************** tried getting my 5 year old son to open the door, I find this behavior very unprofessional. Lexington Management has zero regard for safety, or respect for us as tenants. Lastly My family ,and i have been very ill the past few weeks ; Lexington notified me that they were doing a walkthrough on February 14 ***** , i responded to let lexington know that we were sick ,and they would have to reschedule , they never responded(unprofessional) on Feb 15 they scheduled another showing ( lexington cancelled) . Then again after being told that the family was ill Lexington entered the property on 02/16/2023 this is when **** ,and /or ********* tried forcing my 5 year old son to open the door (they did view the property) On February 21 Lexington notified us that they wanted to do another walkthrough , i again notified them that the family is still ill , and we were all diagnosed with strep throat ,by the clinic on 02/20/2023. Lexington has shown zero regard for our family while we are ill , we need to rest ,not have people walking through our home. I am seriously concerned at the lack of regard for public health in regards to having the public unknowingly walk through a home with illness present without any personal protective equipment ( face masks, hand sanitizer). We are just coming out of a pandemic, and I believe people have the right to be notified ,if families are ill.Lexington Management, LLC

After **** gave her notice to move out, a standard pre-move out inspection was scheduled for 1/26/23. Our staff posted a 12-hour notice to enter but were unable to do so because the screen door was locked. The pre-move out inspection was rescheduled for 1/31/23 and we were able to enter at that time.On 2/14/23 a showing was scheduled, and the tenant said they were sick and did not want us to enter, which we did not. The showing was rescheduled for two days later, the 16th. When our staff arrived for the showing, the screen door was locked again, and 2 small children answered the door. Our staff asked if their parents were home. A few minutes later, **** came to the door and said she was unaware someone was at the door, even though our staff had knocked several times. The showing was done, and **** did no say they were still sick. On 2/19/23, **** was issued a fine for 2 unauthorized animals that were discovered at the pre-move out inspection. On 2/22/23 our staff had to cancel a showing a 2nd time due to tenant being sick again. The showing was rescheduled. According to our records, both times the tenant said they were sick, the company rescheduled. To say the company showed "zero regard for our family while we are ill" and "tried forcing my 5-year-old son to open the door" are not only inaccurate, but they are inflammatory and accusatory. Lexington emphatically denies these claims and asks that this false review be stricken from the record.Review fromarthur b
