I financed a 2017 ***** Silverado **** on 5/21/22.Ever since purchasing this truck I have had nothing but problem after problem with this truck. I returned the truck 1 month to them for brakes, they repaired it. About 5 or 6 months later I returned the truck back to them because of a sway bar problem, they fixed it. About 10 months later it needed another sway bar link, I had that repaired somewhere else and once taking it to another shop they showed me how someone wielded the sway bar link on the truck. I have receipts I had the front driver upper control repaired; I barely drive this truck. A tune up done somewhere else and found out it needed 3 coils and fuel injectors. When I had the tune up done the shop told me I might need an engine, so I thought of another shop to try to get money. So, I went to another shop to have a diagnostic check and they told me I need an engine. So, I went back to where I purchased it on 11/3/2023 and told one of the owners about it. He said, let us check it out, so I said OK maybe they're going to fix it. Sadly, they didn't repair it, the owner said they will repair it for $3800. I think this is a slap in the face twice, the first time is purchasing a used truck for that large amount of money and the second time is when the dealer is not repairing it for free. Who wants to finance something that large and the company not showing good faith on their part to fix the problem. The only thing I want is this huge problem to be corrected.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

For someone to purchase a truck from the dealership and the engine has a problem with in a 1-1/2 years, that is just not right on all levels. I don't think anyone would agree with the dealership offering to fix it for any kind of price. I think they should have fix it in good faith free for me purchasing a use truck for a large amount of $38,000 and this truck engine doesn't last 1-1/2 years. It looks like they're just another crooked dealership, that's not going to make things right regarding this engine matter. No dealership shouldn't be allow to sell a car or truck with only giving a customer a vehicle warranty for 30 to 90 days. This truck had many problems I took it back to they fixed the problems with no problem. I had other repairs done on the truck because I got tired of taking the truck back to them with all the issues. So, now it's a problem with the truck engine they want me to pay to have it repaired.

I will let the finance companies aware of this matter regarding what happened to me so they can look into this dealership far as doing before financing another customer with them.

Whomever is checking or not checking their cars and trucks is not doing their job. I just wanted my truck engine fixed! Right is right and wrong is wrong, and this is totally wrong!

      Regards,

On April 5, 2023 I purchased the vehicle from Reo motors. Since I drove the car home that night I had to take it back to Reos to get serviced which has been over 6 times while my car was under their warranty. I complained of a noise I can hear when driving the vehicle that kept saying its not an issue there is no lights on and keeping driving the car. I repeatedly told them its not a light issue is sound that something is loose or coming a loose. I feel that they prolonged the situation until my car wasnt under the warranty anymore now Im stuck with a vehicle I have to pay a monthly note for that I am unable to drive

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not agreed to what you guys said for the simple fact that I have brought my car in multiple times and have complaints since April 5 regarding the same situation and every time I took my car in for service. The issue was not resolved continuously complaining about the same sound and issue that Im having with the vehicle and the last Mechanic drove with me. He stated that he did not hear a noise although I was telling him that I can hear the noise while in the vehicle with him Im not sure if it was because of language barrier, but I continued to bring the car in for service after the fact the last time I called I was told that you guys are no longer able to service my car because it was not under warranty anymore. Even though I try to get all issues resolved while it was under the warranty I have been getting a runaround. This whole entire time although I can take my car to get serviced by a different shop I feel that the issue should be resolved with ********** considering the fact that I have been bringing this issue to their attention since April 5th 2023. The ladies at the front desk always have a attitude and get smart with me when all I try to voice is my opinion about the vehicle that I have to drive daily that I dont feel like its safe because it constantly sound like something is coming to loose or already loose rattling underneath. I even asked the manager that was on duty at the time. If theres anyway that they can give me my money back or switch my car out this was still in April. He said to give them one more chance to fix the vehicle, and at that time when I got my vehicle back, the vehicle still had the same issue he didnt stated that he was going to make sure that my warranty did not start until after the car was completely serviced, which did not happen. I am currently not satisfied with the response, the service or anything at the moment I even went on ****** and social media to get other reviews after the fact, and multiple people agrees with me that the service is not all the way there and that they have issues with the cars from the time that they left the loc. I feel that Rio motors are getting over on people knowing their situation and the immediate need of a car at that time.  They have you sign a contract and then act as if theres nothing they can do once you sign that contract.

I would like for them to actually fix the issue with my vehicle with no charge and not just take the car in the shop and have me pick it up with nothing fixed. I just called after I received the email and again the lady at the front desk stated my car is not under warranty and I can bring it they will charge me $100 to look at it and that does not include the service fee. Which I dont feel I should have to pay due to this being the same issue from when I first got the vehicle. Also feel that they should cover a month or two of my car note payments considering I bought the car April 5th I had to bring it back April 6th it was in n out of there shop from April 6th to the ending of May early June I wasnt even able to enjoy the vehicle the first month of having it and even after Im scared to drive it due to the sound it makes like something is loose or broken.
Im not able to work my second Driving drive due to that which I been missing out on income for the pass 6 months

or I would like for them trade the vehicle or simply give me my money back.

Finalized purchase of a 2010 Acura RDX. Dealer misrepresented the type of vehicle that was being purchased. They indicated that it had the “Technology Package” which adds $1,500+ to the value. Unfortunately, the vehicle did not actually have the package and I overpaid for a vehicle. Secondly, the vehicle was delivered with a brake issue that they claimed the fixed. It required a second trip to the dealer to fix. Additionally, the vehicle has inadequate shocks and those were replaced during the second visit. It’s now two days later and every time the vehicle is drive, the VSA error alert shows up. This vehicle was not safety inspected and was delivered with numerous safety defects. Along with the inaccurate description of the vehicle, this dealer has intentionally sold an unsafe and overpriced vehicle. The owner was supposed to call me but he has not done so. I’ve been placed on hold for 20+ minutes so they avoid my calls.

On May 8,21 I signed an agreement with REO MOTORS for a 2013 Ford Escape on May 22,21 I returned the car (the second time) because of an oil leak and the car would make a rumbling noise when I made a right turns. Now initially in this discussion I was told that according to a clause in the contract ie, if the car was returned they would be allowed to withhold 5% ,but the started by offering $1,750 from the $2,400 that I put down on the car. I refused the offer and demanded my down payment. I told him that I would pay $100.00 for his troubles. Backstory: I was driving the car and had signed the paperwork, but the finance company backed out of the deal, not because of me, but because the guy tried to sell me another before this one and had markup the price by $4000 and the VIN number of the car and the paperwork didn't match on The 2012 Buick Enclave . Ford Escape refund. This guy tells me that they are entitled to 5% he writes a check for $2,100 ,instead keeping $120. He took $300
