On 11/22/2022, I hired and paid MKE Movers $1,348.00, to perform a residential move. At the time of the estimate, a week prior, the move coordinator *********************************, came to my home, stated to make the move smooth, it'd help if I staged as many boxes in my garage to save time & cost, which I did. ******* also assured me that my more expensive items would be properly wrapped, protected and secured, to prevent damage, before they were taken out the apartment & loaded on the truck. He also stated that any furniture disassembled by his moving crew at the origin location would be reassembled & put back together at the destination location. The day of my move the moving crew did not cover nor protect my furniture items, like they were supposed to, per *******, creating lots of damage to my personal property (ie: 75" TV, sofa, love seat, hutch/bookcase, leaner mirror, both ******* son's ***** ********** damage to my landlords entryway walls, window blinds, stairway & 2 doors. I witnessed the moving crew rip & tear my **************** drop my bookcase/hutch, fail to remove the legs of the sofa & drop boxes marked, "FRAGILE GLASS, " down hard on to the floor. They lost pieces needed to reassembled my ********** left my son's bed disassembled. I called the main office to complain. The movers got upset that I called, began being even more aggressive & handling my personal property with reckless & gross negligence. When I said something to the movers for the 5th time, one of them verbally threatened & verbally assaulted me so bad to the point that I called the police. I also called the **** *********************, left him a message and he never called back. I texted him ********************** of what transpired. He read them all & ignored me. Since then he has avoided and ignored my complaints, ignored my claim forms filed/submitted & just simply refuses to correct the gross ****************************** his crew has displayed. They got their payment & want to wash their hands of me
