    Received a letter to pay money with no information listed, called the company and it was a personal phone number. Did not leave a message, called the main number that transferred me to a person that couldn't find any information and didn't know the next step when I asked. They then disconnected me.

    Kohn Law Firm is a total rude and unprofessional company. They claim my fiance' owe more money then what she was told originally. Every time I make a payment I have no receipt or invoice showing how much is paid or the balance that is due. This is unacceptable and they customer service is horrible!! They need to be investigated and shutdown!

    This is an awful Law Firm, they were supposed too be making arrangements for me for property taxes, I have talk too them 3 different times about and nothing has been done and I pay them every month

    Rude and unprofessional is only the beginning of describing the experience with this so call law office. I had the same experience dealing with this collection agency as I have read on the other reviews with this company. Phones are answered by call center **** who claim to be legal assistants, these are debt collectors who can give you no actual response to legal questions about the legal paperwork you have received from this agency. None of it made sense!!! How are you charging daily interest on a monetary obligation owed to *****************************, who is your client, that is not stated in the court order. The person that answered the phone stated "it states the interest that will be charged in the court order", but it does not, she's actually the one who told us it's daily interest because I was unaware of that up until today when one of your legal assistants told me that.. This doesn't even sound legal to be charging daily interest and then you reject payments from my employer but continue to charge interest? And now my balance **** continues to go up but this company literally sent my payments back to my employer after them being garnished to pay the debt. I will also be contacting *********** to give my complaint about the company they have contracted with to collect their debt. There has to be way more competent businesses that they can contract with. You are literally hung up on if they can't answer your questions. Only way to deal with these people is to have your own lawyer, which I have contacted today, they are relying on you not understanding what's happening so they can get more than you owe with this daily interest, which is probably already causing some kind of hardship for most people.

    Comapny has been refusing to accept my request fir a reasonable payment plan for several ywars. They garnished my wages to the point that I spent over a ywar living on the streets. But then tacked on so much interest that I owe more than they garnished on top of the original debt. Wyen I finally had a stable residency again, and trued to wirk with them they demanded my foodstamp amount so they could calculate a higher payment.

    Kohn Law Firm (a debt collector according to their paperwork) was receiving monthly payments (of which I have documentation to your agreement to the payment arrangement) for a debt that they purchased. They stopped the payments abruptly. When we realized this we called to ensure the payments continued to pay the amount due. They wanted more money. We agreed to a $25.00 increase. This continued for two more months and then the payments abruptly stopped again. We called again to make sure payments continued. The lady who answered the phone was rude and tried asking questions outside of her legal reach. She refused to take any more payments and hung up after saying she would take it to small claims court. See you in court with our attorney and documentation so you may explain to the judge that you refused payment for an arrangement that you agreed to. This will ensure we have a proper forum to engage in a subjective discussion regarding how this matter should have been handled and then you may acknowledge and apologize for any actions noted in this review . While we may not be your client you are the debt collector making the arrangements and no you do not ensure everyone is treated professionally, ethically, respectfully and most importantly, in accordance with all applicable laws. Placing stress on the professionally and respectfully. I would advise anyone to not make any arrangements with this debt collector and instead take it to small claims court.
