      I've been living in Berrada for two years and six months. When I was moving in, I was warned not to stay too long. They could not be anymore correct. The first few months, somebody busted my window for no reason in the garage. So I parked outside, just for my car to get towed a year later around the holidays. Both incidents cost me 400 dollars each. I paid to park in the garage and had a sticker on my car just for that to happen. The garage remote key was rendered worthless because the doors are wide open for anybody to enter! I've dealt with roaches, they were visible in the hallways. You can't have packages sent to you because they will be stolen. Many of your neighbors are inconsiderate, they don't care about you or themselves. There's trash everywhere outside and inside the building. It got worse, the cleaning staff visited there less and less. Probably because they got sick of cleaning behind grown folks. Why was my rent increasing when the quality of life erodes over time? After waking up to two roaches to my room, I've had enough and terminated my lease. Do not move here, and if you do, do not become comfortable. Make an exit strategy, it may not be bad then, but it will progressively get worse.

      Never came and fixed anything in my unit they don’t even offer a prorated rate when you move out I paid for the month because when you don’t they only give 5 days to move out and come lock your unit which I wanted to prevent since I was living in the middle of the month. I cleaned the unit out and still can’t get my account closed out due to them giving me a run around don’t rent otherwise you will have bigger issues the building I stayed in was infested with mice, rats, bedbugs and roaches they don’t care about no one’s living conditions just as long as you pay rent on time they didn’t even realize I lived in the unit and made me sign multiple leases in a year to even keep residing it just ridiculous and not worth the headache

      Very bad for business. My ceiling caved in May 30th 2025. Another piece of ceiling has collapsed, June 22nd 2025. No response from maintenance still.

      i hate this place it has roaches, mice, bed bugs, the hallway carpets are nasty and they don't clean the hallways it was a ********** stain on the wall in hallway. Rooms have no lights only kitchen and bathroom. I dont recommend living here they take forever to take care of anything you have to call multiple times to get what you want done. NEVER AGAIN!!!! And their blinds are very low maintenance i do not recommend this place

      I am a current tenant of barrada and I strongly suggest no one rent from him. It's to the point where I would much rather live in a homeless shelter for free than to pay to live in these horrible conditions. He has been my landlord for a little over 2 years now and the entire time we have had problems with everything from the cockroaches bed bugs, doors not lacking the garbage outside. No one cleans the hallway. You can never get a response from the email. You end up having to call the housing authority to get anything done and then they treat you like you're a complainer and it still takes months to get it done. If it gets done at all. I have to pay out of pocket to exterminate my apartment every two weeks. Even though the whole two years I've been renting from him. I've been filing with the housing authority because of the bug problem through this entire building. The time that it takes to clean up the messes to make the phone calls to send the emails. It's literally a full-time job to rent from him and in the end nothing gets done. Anyways, I've contacted everybody from berrada the near West side association, the aldermen the News company. It's literally driving me insane. Everybody acts like oh, That's so horrible but nobody does anything. Barrada's a professional at putting a bandage on problems only when they hit the public's eye and I've been saying for the longest time why don't we take some preventative measures so it doesn't have to get this far. But let me tell you that is asking way too much way too much of Berrada. I feel like I literally have to babysit this building at all times and shockingly enough. I'm not ********* mom. I'm not the building manager. I'm not the spokesperson like really get your **** together dude. You chose landlord as your occupation and then what really blows my mind is all these buildings with all these problems and he's still buying more. News flash if you can't maintain what you already own, maybe you should stop buying more!

      No care nor concern for the Tenants.
      The whole building has been without water since yesterday. There was a notice saying water was going to be shut off for 1-2 hours between 8 am to 4 pm on 11/4/24 for a repair. Today is 11/5/24 7 am and still no water not any notice/update from Berradas to the tenants. Tenants have been called the urgent maintenance line and as usually, only leave a message. They never answer back. This is a building in ******, WI.

      Never rent from Berrada property!! The slumlord has the company Always Towing tow your car for no reason whatsoever just to make a profit and force tenants out!!! Mold in the bathroom. Roaches and mice. **** in the dryer. Blood in the hallway. Very strong odor of urine and feces in the hallway. Maggots from food not being disposed of. Puke in the hallways. Other tenants steal your mail. I am only a visitor to this property, as my boyfriend lives here and I am so horrified that I felt the need to make a review!!!

      This has been the absolute worst living experience I've ever had. 1 year ago I lost limbs from a frost bite, this past winter I had no heat in my apartment from Thanksgiving to Valentine's Day, with temps reaching feels like -37, I'm in my apartment literally freezing and can't get ahold of Berrada Properties, it's like they aren't required to answer any phones in their organization. I tried calling every resource the City of Milwaukee had for help during that time and wasn't able to get any due to the entire city going through the same situation with Berrada, to the point where it made the local News. Now I'm being too that I have to pay back rent or loose my apartment. If Berrada would stop spending money on fixing unnecessary stuff and fix what's needed there wouldn't be a problem. He'd rather make the outside of the building look good and leave the inside in ruins. I've been living with mold in my kitchen for six months and can't get maintenance to answer their phone under any circumstances. You can call whatever number they give and press any prompt and you'll never get a human being on the phone and they don't return calls or emails.

      I filed an online maintenance request twice over a two week period, according to the online instructions. It was only after I gave the company a phone call that I was told I had to follow up my online request with a PHONE CALL.

      On July 2nd I filed an official maintenance request on the company's website. One week later I filed a 2nd request for the same problem. Getting no response I called the company on July 14th. The person I spoke to told me I had to follow up my request with a phone call. The complaint process on the website doesn't state this. On July I9th I visited the website and my request was marked closed. Nothing has been done to correct this issue. My oven still does not turn off completely when the dial is in the off position.

      Because of an on going dispute of a late rent charge, the landlord is withholding maintenace service in retalliation . I have filed complaints with the state and city government for this ILLIGAL practice.
