Mid May 2021 I had my driveway at ************************************************************* removed and replaced as per quote ***** dated 5-5-21 for $14,740.00. Within weeks the north part of the driveway began to crack. I contacted *************************, Project Manager ************ in June, 2021 regarding this defect. He stated it would be rectified by the end of 2021. It was not done. **** and 4-28-22 I left voice messages with **** regarding getting the driveway repaired. He got back to me in May, 2022 stating there was a work order for the project. 6-28-22 left voice main for ****. No return response. July 8th, 2022, I left a voice mail at the main office ************, regarding the no response from **** and the cracked driveway. I also left a message in the quote section of their website stating my dilemma. 7-10-22 I called the main office again and spoke with a female who stated she would talk with her supervisor and that she or someone would get back to me. Now 7-13-22 I contact BBB for hopeful resolution. I would appreciate a response from Johnson and Sons Paving and resolution to the defective work done in May 2021 for the amount of $20,212.Customer response

The case ******** has NOT been resolved. **** from Johnson and Sons called me 7-13-22 stating they would come within the next 2 weeks to fix the cracks and top coat the driveway for free. I had not heard back from them in the 2 weeks so I called **** 7-26-22 to get an update. He stated they would come mid August, to rectify the issue. He stated the same thing last August, 2021 and nothing was done. That I why I contacted BBB. We have been in contact with the customer. We are sorry for all the confusion with correcting the problem. Our project manager has talked with the customer to come up with a resolution that we both can agree on. The work for repair will be done in the next two weeks. We always take our customers concerns very seriously. Please let her know I will be following up to make sure she is happy with her driveway.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This case is still open. I left **** of Johnson and Sons Paving a voice mail 8-15-22. No response. So I called him again **** and he actually answered the phone. He stated my job was "in cue" and it would be done some time this year. He stated he would get back to me when it is scheduled. As of yet,8-20-22 no call back. I stated he told me that last year and it was never completed. I have attempted to call the main number of Johnson and Sons **** and **** and it always goes to voice mail. This case will remain open until the work is actually done. The above response in writing states 2 weeks. I'll be waiting!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Johnson and Sons Paving sent a subcontractor, ************** on 8-31-22 to fill the cracks in the driveway and apply two seal coats. The work is satisfactory and the case can now be closed.
