      TDS terrible customer service. They sneak things into your bill and charge late fees even when you have auto pay setup. You call and they can't explain the bill at all. At first I was told the tax for internet in wisconsin increased and that's why my bill went from 40 to 70. They will not cancel my account they just keep bouncing me around.

      Quite disappointed. Left ******** to save 50% and better internet with fiber optic. Had 2 year locked price deal that expires the November 2024. After 1 year, price has increased several times. Service is non existent. And TDS TV plus is AWFUL!. Good channels and good download speeds but receiver buffers all the time. And, their TV guide shows old shows as NEW for most programs. Even programs off air for years! They blame it on contractor and say they are working on it for over a year. Internet is ok but tv is just plain bad. Everyone brags about fiber optic but coax never buffered!!

      TDS Terrible customer service and billing! We switched over to TDS because we were promised great, faster service and a much lower bill. The bill was almost double what they quoted me and never would change it. Then only 6 months in my bill went up almost $20 a month. Wouldn't do anything about it so I switched back to ******** internet. Which has actually been more reliable. Closed my account before the billing cycle, still received a bill for $18.76, you can't pay online due to account being closed and they want to charge you $4.95 to pay by phone. This company is terrible and a scam!

      This company does not think before they install their services on your property. They will destroy your yard and do nothing for you. Fixing the install will cost me thousands or days of my time to fix what they have damaged. Use any other company, but this one.

      Even as BBB they had poor service and now, it's expensive and terrible. They sell internet service by m/gbps but I've never seen it anywhere near what they advertise. Usually downloads run at 115 mbps and uploads average 12.3 mbps. I could be that we have little to chose from in Central ****** but at least they can be more honest. AND - I had changed my autopay bank which is how I had paid for years. For some reason they did not process the March payment through the new bank. Being not aware of that, I received in snail mail an invoice for two months of service ($569.34). I reviewed my autopay on their site, tried to renter it, and got a message that "the bank account chosen is currently restricted from making payments as there are payments currently processing". No reason as to why the account would be restricted. On top of that, I get a cost recovery fee of $2.99 (I believe is the cost of sending me the letter). Someone needs to straighten that organization out. I'm baling as soon as I find a decent replacement.

      Horrible customer service. I have wasted hours of my life simply trying to pay my bill without having the same bill pay options as everyone else. I am unable to use online bill pay and just get told to pay over the phone for a service fee or go to the store.

      I am extremely disappointed in the customer service of ********************. I dealt with them for over 3 months trying to eliminate some of my service. I spoke on a twice a month basis first eliminating TV service and then Internet service. Each time I was quoted a price only to see a higher price when I received a bill. I was quoted a final bill in Feb. then received a bill for twice the amount. When I called to question, was told that it went into the next billing cycle and they do NOT prorate. I have since cancelled all service and gone with ******* for Internet and Y-tube for cable service, and am extremely happy. I do not recommend TDS for any service and their customer service department is very poor. They would not direct me to any supervisor to resolve my issues. Therefore I had no other option than to report their practices through this forum. Do not use TDS under any circumstances, there are much better and more cost effective options out there.

      TDS has flat out lied to us three times. 1) the sales person who came to the house offered 3 free months if we tried their service. 2) We tried their service and received a bill the first month. After several calls a TDS manager said we would not be charged if we cancelled within 30 days. 3) We cancelled within 30 days and, once again, received another bill. After another call and being transferred several times a TDS representative said he would credit our account and we wouldn't owe anything. We have now been contacted by a collections agency saying we owe TDS. We would not recommend TDS to anyone. Their customer service has a lot to be desired and they flat out lie out you. What a disappointment.

      Very poor service. Lousy connection, had the service at my new home for 13 days and had the tech here 3 times during that time. Cancelled the service after 13 days and went with a new carrier. Received a bill for double my previous billing. Called to correct billing, took half off for an additional moth they had billed me for and the full month that I only had service for 13 days. I called, they don't prorate. So the consumer is hosed for a full month of service when they did not provide the service. This is unethical and poor business practices. The cost continues to climb, the service is extremely poor and now this. Run far away from this company, especially if you work remote. I was unable to work for several days due to a down connection. No adjustment to my fee for no service either.

      When cancelling your service, make sure they cancel your auto pay. They keep charging your account if they don't do this. I had to make several phone calls to fix this, which added up to over an hour. A refund should happen within the next 5-6 days hopefully, but it makes me wonder if this is a part of their business model - I bet a lot of people don't notice they are being charged again for services that were supposed to be cancelled. I had to ask for a manager because they were going to deny the refund. Watch your checking accounts!
