Zero stars! After 3 months, still no service. Finally came to bury the line to the house, and cut through electrical to our shed which was CLEARLY MARKED, and also cut the line to our current provider. Refuse to fix the problems, leaving us without power and internet. Did absolutely nothing to help resolve, now I am having to pay out of pocket to fix what they did

We decided to discontinue service, called to cancel, TDS rep informed us that our billing cycle had just renewed 4 days prior and that we would be billed for the month, as they do not pro-rate bills. We had to call again because the boxes to return equipment had not arrived. At that time we were told our service was disconnected after our first phone call - essentially we are being asked to pay for a service that was disconnected. We were not told the disconnection was immediate.

WORST EXPERIENCE of my life using with an internet provider. We cancelled their service 2 days before their billing cycle started and even though we pay a month in advance ,they still insisted we pay another month.because we cancelled 2 days early We told them I have lost my job due to ***** reasons and that were senior citizen to boot. A couple. Words come to mind describing TDS HEARTLESS and COLD BLOOD .I hope what goes around comes around. I wont leave a rating unless you have something in a minus category.

My wifi has worked well, and I am satisfied with what I am paying. The problem is that this company, like so many others, does not understand what customer service actually is. This is why they sent me a message telling me that my payment system was going to change--and then sent me another message telling me my account was going to be billed--and then sent me yet another message telling me that I am in arrears. While they change their billing system, which is beyond my control, I am left to decode their messages (sent to my by bots) to try to figure out how to get my automated payments working again. When I called to speak to a representative, she was less than friendly, She couldn't understand why I couldn't pick out THE message (the one saying I can't pay on my current account without calling or going to the office in person) from the several messages this company has coughed out, including one that assured me my automatic payment was about to be deducted from my account. This company doesn't understand: customers pay you. Without us, you don't exist. Customers aren't responsible for your billing choices--YOU as a company are supposed to provide high quality service to US, the best possible. How about generating and sending out new account numbers and instructions for upcoming billing and THEN cancelling the current billing system, TDS? I want to bill YOU for an hour of my time. It's not worth nothing. If you use this company--in some cases, you have no choice--be aware, the customer service--it's beyond bad. There is one live human being in my town to handle face to face transactions. One. There are three other chairs in the row of desks, but the company doesn't see the need to hire another person to help her out. People stand in lines out the door, and with the company, this is apparently fine. This company spends too much money on mass mailouts, not on people. Being a person, I object.

I agree with all other negative reviews and wish I could leave 0 stars. We recently moved out and needed a cheap internet provider. It took them 3 months alone from the initial service being purchased to actually come out and do the installation. Numerous appointments were scheduled and no shows just for us to call in and them saying they had no record of the appointments. For the past month we have had our internet go out for hours at a time then go back on for 40 minutes. Over and over. We only stuck with them for so long because they kept promising us credit to our account only for us to now be $100.00 past due? Currently on hold for 30+ minutes wanting a resolution to this but will most likely end up paying the whole bill bc they dont offer solutions, just false promises. Please trust the negative reviews because your experience will NOT be different! Anyways just got off the phone with ******** after switching and could not recommend ******** more. In my opinion, switch today .

I have been trying to cancel my TDS Internet service without success. I was told it was cancelled and autopay for bills was turned off. They required me to pay my final bill over the phone (plus a $4.95 convenience fee.). Then the autopay also took the payment from my account. I called back and asked for a refund, was told I had to send an email and then wait for a call back, which I never got. I was told I would be sent return packaging so I could return my equipment, but have received to notification that it has been sent, no tracking number. There is no cancellation confirmation, nor any type of communication. Meanwhile, they continue to bill me. With each phone call I have to wait up to an hour on hold, then I get a very confusing story as to how and when I will know my service has been cancelled. My online account shows no cancellation, and no useful information. TDS is among the very worst customer experiences Ive ever had.

I would give 0 star if I could. This company does not take accountability or ownership of their mistake. They will not correct the mistake they make. They will say and do anything to take your money only. Saint George Utah office is run and managed by the receptionist. They will tell you that all their upper management are out of state. The poorest excuse!

TDS canvassed my neighborhood 2 years ago for pre-registrations on installations of fiber that were planned for later in that year. It's now been over 2 years and there has not yet been fiber installed in my neighborhood. I called TDS to ask for an update and they stated that there is no plans to install fiber and then I should call back at the end of the year. I let them know that I'm not waiting another 2 years before they ever get to my neighborhood when they've already taken my money. I immediately asked for cancellation of my account and a refund on my pre-registration. Don't do business with TDS unless the fiber is already in the ground!

This business disconnected my internet without my express consent when they made a mistake on a work order for another apartment in my apartment complex. Rectifying their mistake has been frustrating and time consuming and I have been given erroneous information several times about when they would restore service. They are a terrible company to work with but I have no choice because my apartment complex is wired for this company only and I am not allowed to choose my own provider. Avoid dealing with this company if at all possible.
