      I signed up with this company for Auto insurance through Onstar. They were cheaper than everyone else. But the one time I needed a tow they told me I had to pay an additional $29 when I already paid for roadside assistance on my account monthly. They cancelled my policy, and I never received any communications. So, I rode around for 3 weeks unaware that I didn't have any insurance. Yes, I was late on my payment but when I realized and went online to pay, I got a message that I no longer had an account and they weren't offering insurance in my area. So needless to say, I'm out $150 penalty fee from the DMV. When I called them to inquire, they CLAIM they sent a letter to me of cancellation but when I looked through my USPS informed delivery emails for the entire month they claimed they sent it, and there was NEVER a letter from them. Since I started a policy, I never received any communications from them about anything. The only way I could pay was through the Onstar app, It's really sad that insurance companies can treat people that way and get you all caught up!!! This is a company I will never recommend.

      I was working at a lab inside of a community hospital when a drunk woman hit my parked car while I was working. Someone came and informed me someone hit my car. The woman who hit my car was admitted into my hospital and later arrested for a DUI. I put in a claim and they were able to fix the damages to my vehicle but then later they couldnt recover the expenses because the drunk woman had no insurance. They turned around and not only doubled my premium but basically blamed me and put as if the accident was my fault as if I wasnt on the clock at work while this happened and now its following me as if I was at fault. SHAME

      If I could give zero starts I would. I was hit in the back and I filed a claim. Went through this insurance and Bob has terrible communication. Also, this car has been sitting at the mechanic since 08/14/2022 and I’m still dealing with it. It is now 10/01/2022! I am very disappointed and if you want any thing done for you steer clear of this company.

      As of now my patience with Midvale Auto is evaporating. Purchased this insurance through COSTCO thinking it reputable. They immediately charged me $118.50 for not signing up for paperless billing and auto pay. This was on top of over-priced auto insurance in the first place. I also carry a homeowner's policy with them. I've read very stinging reviews concerning their homeowner's insurance also. I think I'll be shopping around for other insurance! their customer service SUCKS!

      I have used Midvale for my workmans comp insurance for my employees. I have been a client for 3 years on autopay, never had an incident always pay on time. American family sends out about 4 emails and letters a week always saying theres been a change to your policy. When you log on account there are no changes. One of the emails was to let me know I had an upcoming insurance audit. I have never missed one before and didnt intentionally miss this one. I noticed a $1000 charge from the company in my bank account and called and they said I missed my audit so they fined me. I had no clue I had one and sent in the paper for them to do the audit right away. They said no one was allowed to talk to me about it and I will not get a refund for that outrageous fee! They have since messed up my account 4 times in the last month which apparently they can do but a loyal client cannot be late without a $1000 fee! Im going to be taking my business elsewhere and spreading the word about this scam of a business.

      We arranged for insurance through Midvale for a house that we were purchasing. They issued a policy and we went through with purchasing the home. Several weeks after sending an inspector to the house and after we closed they denied our coverage unless trees were trimmed, and the roof was repaired. Needed repairs that were not flagged by our home inspector, or within the appraisal for the house. The time frame for making repairs was less than a month and they made know allowance for time required to get someone in to get the work done. The representative said that this was standard policy, and offered no other possible solutions for maintaining coverage. They only agreed to send the actual report to us as a courtesy and not as a part of standard procedure.
