On 4/8/2024, I placed an order at ************ Bangladeshi Grill around midnight. My order number was ******** for $24.26. When I drove to the restaurant to pick up my food it was closed. There was a sign on the door explaining the restaurant will be closed for the next month, as the owners are on vacation. I contacted EatStreet, asking for a refund for an order I never received, and they told me they cannot refund the order and to contact the restaurant. Theres no way for me to contact the restaurant, as they are closed for the next month. Im also concerned with how EatSteets program operates. They use the word confirmed and placed interchangeably. As soon as I ordered from the restaurant off of EatStreet, I got an email saying my order has been confirmed by the restaurant, but it would have been impossible for them to confirm my order. All that actually happened was that I placed the order, it wasnt ever confirmed by anyone. Yet they are using this technicality to deny a refund because they cannot cancel or refund a confirmed order. Just very disappointing, as Ive used this service several times. If you have any issues with your order they take no accountability.
