Dear Better Business Bureau On December, 13, 2025 I filed my first report. When I first went to the Fetch Rewards app to check my points it notified that my account was suspended/frozen. I waited a few minutes until I made my first email. I notified Fetch that my account was frozen and waited for a response. Fetch said they would look into the issue. A few hours later they told me that I had REMOVEDbut I simply hadn't. Fetch promises to give points due to receipts, online shopping and playing games. I had only played the games that Fetch had offered. I was awarded points but that's not the problem. After I was disappointed with their response I made another report. Shortly after a few hours they responded again but with no resolution to my problem or answering my issue. I checked the players friend list to find that mostly Fetch employees get benefits. There is no amount of receipt or spending for them but limits for other users. This complaint is solely for the purpose of getting my Fetch account back due to lies of the company to keep their end of the bargain. The company did not tell me what "Term" I violated or will go into it any further. I went to check the bottom of my email to some website that gives AI responses back to their customers. I solely want my real issue resolved with the employees themselves. I believe that their AI system is faulty and did not give me a chance or solely banned me just for playing games on Fetch. I did not use any receipts but only gameplay. Fetch has violated their own terms and have not gave me a valuable response.Business Response

There were two offers on Fetch, which were "buy shameless pets dental treats" for 6000+5000 for each bag, limit 3. I made the purchase on REMOVEDon Nov 28th, then the package was shipped on Dec 5th and that was the day when the invoice had been created. I let fetch app the scan the invoice and then I could submit this invoice for my 11000*3=REMOVEDpoints because they are time sensitive. The app could not scanned my invoice, then I filed a ticket and sent the invoice to fecth directly. The system told me that I would get the solution in 24 hours. One day later, nobody come to fixed the problem. Several hours later, those offers were gone. At 7PM on Dec 6, finally the invoice had been scanned by the fetch system, but my offeres were gone. I filed another ticket. On Dec 8th, customer service told me that I submitted too late to get those offers. On the same day, I filed a new ticket to tell them that was not my fault. I need my REMOVEDpoints back. The same thing, my ticket had been ignored again.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address this concern. We have reviewed the customers account, the receipts provided, and the offer details active during the relevant time period.
After completing our investigation, we were able to manually award the eligible base offer points for the purchase. These points can be viewed within the customers Points Activity section of the REMOVEDapp.
Regarding the additional POPS promotional points the customer is requesting, we confirmed that this promotion began on December 4, while the customers qualifying purchase was made on November 28. Because the purchase occurred prior to the start date of the POPS bonus, it does not meet the eligibility requirements for the promotional doubling of points. As with all offers and promotional bonuses on Fetch, eligibility is strictly determined by the dates specified within the offer terms.
We understand the customer experienced delays in having their invoice successfully scanned, and we apologize for any frustration this caused. However, even with manual review, we are only able to award points that fall within the clearly stated offer and promotion timelines. In this case, although the base offer was applied, the POPS promotional bonus could not be added because the purchase date preceded the start date of the promotion.
We remain committed to providing timely support and ensuring that points are awarded accurately and in accordance with offer terms. If the customer has any additional documentation or questions, we are happy to review further.Initial Complaint

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We have reviewed the customers inquiry regarding their reward redeemed on November 30th.
After investigating, we confirmed that there was a delay in the processing of the customers reward, which extended the delivery time beyond our standard 72-hour window. This delay has since been resolved, and the customers reward has been successfully issued.
After reviewing your account, we confirmed that some points were removed in error. We have gone ahead and restored the points associated with the incorrect deduction, and they should appear in your account shortly. If you dont see them right away, try closing and reopening the Fetch app. Fetch remains committed to delivering rewards in a timely manner and appreciates the customers patience throughout this process.Initial Complaint

Fetch deducts points from those who are using the app in an honest manner. And then if you inquire as to the reason why this happens they repeatedly give a vague response saying that you violated the terms of use and refuse to elaborate on details and leave you high and dry. How am I violating any terms of use when I am 100% submitting receipts for purchases made by me?Business Response
Date: 12/01/2025
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this case. We completed a thorough review of the users account and receipt activity.
Our investigation confirmed that a portion of the previously deducted points was associated with receipt activity that did not meet Fetchs Receipt Compliance guidelines. Because of this, some of the original deductions will remain in place.
However, after reviewing the users more recent receipt submissions, we found that their recent activity does comply with our policies. Based on these findings, we have reissued REMOVEDpoints to the users account. These points have been successfully returned and should now be visible to the user.
Please let us know if any additional information is needed. We are happy to assist further.
Thank you,

All REMOVEDpoints in my Fetch Rewards account were removed without explanation, and three of my redeemed gift cards were wrongfully declined. I had strategically redeemed the gift cards in advance because they take up to 72 hours to process, and I wanted to use them this week for Black Friday deals. The points and gift cards were earned legitimately, and my account has always been in good standing.Points removed: November REMOVEDpoints Total points removed: REMOVEDGift cards declined: 3 REMOVEDgift cards totaling $125 As a result, I am unable to use my points for planned purchases, which is especially frustrating given the timing around Black Friday sales.Resolution Requested:1.Immediate reinstatement of the REMOVEDpoints 2.Approval or reissuance of the three gift cards. 3. Confirmation future points will not be removed if issue resolve and I continue to use the app I have already attempted to contact Fetch Rewards via email regarding this issue but have not received a satisfactory response. I am filing this complaint with the BBB to seek resolution.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Business Response

Upon review of the consumers Fetch account, our team identified that several submitted eReceipts did not comply with our established submission guidelines. As a result, the points previously awarded for those eReceipts were removed in accordance with our policies.
Specifically, our investigation confirmed that some online transactions were returned or canceled after being submitted for points. Per Fetchs Terms of Service, returning, canceling, or otherwise invalidating a transaction after it has been submitted is not permitted and disqualifies the submission from eligibility.
We understand the consumers concerns; however, we are unable to reinstate the points associated with these invalid submissions. The account remains active, and the consumer may continue to earn points through valid receipt and eReceipt activity moving forward.
Fetch remains committed to providing support to all users. Should the BBB require any additional information regarding this case, we are happy to assist.Customer Answer

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
Fetchs statement is incorrect.
All of the eReceipts I submitted were valid, completed transactions. None of the orders were returned or canceled, and this is clearly reflected in my bank transactions. Their claim that the submissions were invalid is false. Fetch processed my points, then a few days later they manually went in and removed the points without notice that I violated any terms.
Fetch also wrongfully declined my already processed Amazon gift cards, which I received properly and in full.
I stand by the fact that I followed all guidelines and did nothing to warrant the removal of my points or the denial of my rewards.
Thank you for your time and assistance.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address this concern.
After a comprehensive review of the account, we confirmed that REMOVEDan attempt to obtain Fetch points in a manner inconsistent with our policies. Because these transactions did not meet the requirements for valid point eligibility, the points initially awarded for these eReceipts were removed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. (REMOVED)
We understand that this outcome may be disappointing; however, we must uphold the integrity of our rewards system for all users. After a thorough evaluation, we consider this matter resolved.
We appreciate the understanding and the opportunity to clarify our position.Customer Answer

The gift cards totaling $125 from REMOVEDwere redeemed on November 21st, several days before the Target orders were purchased. The points for the gift cards were rightfully obtained. The is no explanation for why the gift cards were rejected. Fetch is claiming they are not able to redeem my points but have not explained why they rejected gifts that I redeemed several days before the target purchases.

Thank you for reaching back out. After reviewing this users account once more, we confirmed that they have multiple Target orders that were canceled.
As a result, points were removed for these canceled orders. We understand this may be disappointing, but points can only be granted for completed, qualifying purchases that the retailer finalizes and transmits to us. If the user has any successfully completed Target orders that did not receive points, we would be happy to review those individually at REMOVED.

I purchased a chewy gift card for $50 and got it on 11-4-2025. Right after that I noticed they deducted REMOVEDpoints from my account. I emailed them and they said it was because of some receipts that didnt follow guidelines. I emailed them back asking them to tell me which receipts were in question I told them I can provide any receipt needed That the REMOVEDpoints taken out would not even come close to that amount . A few days later, I decided to get a $25 Kroger gift card same thing happened. They deducted another 7040 points from my account and denied the gift card. I emailed them about both amounts being taken out of my account for no reason they emailed me back and said the 7040 points Were unintentionally taken out and they restored my points for the gift card and the 7040 points emailed them again asking about the other REMOVEDpoints that were in error. Both times was after purchase of gift cards. They need to provide me of the receipts in question so I can get this resolved .Im willing to prove that I follow their rules and guidelines and provide any information needed to get back my points that was taken from me. I feel if they cant or wont work with me and give me the info I asked for that they have something to hide and are just stealing my points. I know Im not alone on this. It has happened to others also seems very suspicious that it happened after two gift cards only a few days apart. The last email I got from them was 11-11-2025 and was basically told that it is considered resolved. ITS NOT. They need to issue me my points REMOVEDpoints back. I know I havent done what there are falsely accusing me of, otherwise they would give me receipts in question. Thank you.Business Response

After a thorough review of the consumers Fetch account activity, we confirmed that some points were deducted correctly due to violations of our Terms of Service related to receipt submissions, while others were removed in error.
Upon investigation, we found that in several cases, the consumer had flagged items on receipts that were not actually purchased, which is a misuse of the apps receipt-scanning and item-flagging feature. This behavior violates Fetchs Terms of Service, which prohibit falsifying receipt data or claiming points for items not reflected on a valid purchase.
However, we also identified that not all of the point deductions incorrectly removed. After confirming valid receipts that did not involve incorrect flagging, we have reissued REMOVEDpoints back to the consumers account.
REMOVEDstrives to ensure all users are treated fairly and that our rewards system remains accurate and secure for everyone. While we have corrected the errors and returned the appropriate points, the remaining deductions were valid and supported by our internal verification of the receipts in question.
The account remains active, and the user may continue to earn points through legitimate receipt submissions consistent with our Terms of Service.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase for a laptop on Best Buy but I did so through the fetch app in the shop section. It is advertised that youget five points per dollar spent and since I spent $1000 I expected 5000 points I however, did not get awarded that. Fetch has these so called "contests" where you win money or gift cards or points but have to use your well earned hard points for, they just finished 2 contests and are 3 days past and haven't announced any winners but claim they did. It is rigged cause NO matter how many entries you enter its still NOT enough when they do finally announce winners. It is a scam and I feel the people they claim win are friends and family or employees DO BETTER BE BETTER ALSO PROVE ME WRONG IF IM WRONG I WILL APOLOGIZE.
