I am filing this complaint against Fetch Rewards regarding the unfair handling of my account.I legitimately earned points through ********* purchases submitted via e-receipts. Recently, Fetch deducted over ******* points from my account and falsely claimed that my receipts had broken the rules. This is not true all receipts were from valid purchases.Because of this wrongful deduction, multiple gift card redemptions I had already requested were canceled or declined. These include:$50 **** (Declined 9/28/25)$50 PlayStation Store (Declined 9/28/25)$50 **** (Declined 9/28/25)$10 ********** (Declined 9/28/25)$10 ********** (Declined 9/28/25)$25 **** (Declined 9/28/25)Screenshots are attached showing the deductions and cancellations.I am disabled and cannot always go out to shop in person. Because of this, I rely on online orders and e-receipts as my only way to participate in Fetchs program. By taking away my points and canceling my redemptions, Fetch has unfairly excluded me from its rewards program and penalized me for my disability.I contacted Fetch support (case #********), but my issue has not been resolved. Instead, I have only received delays, automated replies, and false accusations of rule violations.I request that Fetch immediately restore my points or, preferably, issue the gift cards I redeemed for without further delay.Business Response

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Fetch team!
After careful review, our team has decided to uphold the point deduction. We can confirm that the user canceled these eReceipts.
Please be advised that Fetch does not disclose evidence of fraud to users. While we do not take point deductions lightly, we are obligated to enforce our Terms of Service when violations occur.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Fetch has falsely claimed that I canceled my own orders. This is not true.
The points were deducted by Fetch, and the rewards were declined or canceled on their end, not mine. I never canceled any redemptions. In fact, ********* the source of my e-receipts does not even provide customers the option to cancel once a delivery order is in progress. My receipts were legitimate and tied to valid ********* purchases.
I have also provided screenshots showing that ********* issued me a promotion due to the inconvenience I experienced. This further proves that my orders were real, valid purchases, and not fraudulent in any way.
Because Fetchs system flagged my receipts incorrectly and falsely accused me of violating the rules, my gift card redemptions (totaling $245) were declined or canceled. This was entirely Fetchs error, not mine.
I am disabled and rely on delivery orders and e-receipts to participate in Fetchs program since I cannot always shop in person. By deducting my points and denying my redemptions, Fetch has unfairly excluded me from its rewards program and placed me at a disadvantage compared to non-disabled users. I take disability discrimination very seriously and will not accept being penalized for circumstances directly tied to my disability.
I respectfully request that Fetch issue the gift cards I redeemed for immediately, as their error caused the cancellations not any action on my part.

Hello and thank you for reaching back out to the Fetch team.
After reviewing the account activity, we can confirm that the user placed four separate ********* orders within a 24-hour period, totaling $1,559.03. Each of these orders was fully canceled, which means no qualifying purchases were completed.
Because the orders were canceled, the points earned from them were not eligible to remain on the account.
No valid ********************** were lost, and the deductions were made correctly in line with our Terms of Service. (***************************************************) We strive to keep our rewards system fair and accurate for all users, and we appreciate the opportunity to review this inquiry.
After careful consideration, we want to convey that the decision regarding the case is final.

On 9/16/25 I noticed on the Fetch App that I was one Doordash purchase away from ****** points. Attached is screenshot showing that app had me at 2 out of 3 purchases before my last order. I take screenshots now because this isn't the first time they dont follow through with their offers. My email is linked to the app so I waited for the digital receipt to upload, and when it finally did it marked it as the Restaurant name and not as Doordash. I gave it an additional day before I reached out to Fetch Support. Fetch Support did not resolve the issue and instead chose to tell me that my purchase was not food or restaurant. Well they should fully check all their resources as Vaqueros is a ****************** that only sells food. Their customers should not have to screenshot anything to hold them accountable on their offers. This essentially is false advertising and not how you should treat your loyal customers of the app.Business Response

I previously filed a complaint about them falsely accusing me of scanning records that were not mine and sending retaliatory messages. Their answer was basically "we don't care" now just so you know, you can't delete your account if you've ever "violated" their terms of service. Which they can just say you did and provide no proof and then keep your info forever.Business Response

Following a comprehensive manual review of the account in question, our team determined that points were removed due to a violation of our Terms of Service. Specifically, our records show an unusually high number of receipts submitted from ********
Our Terms of Service prohibit the submission of receipts from transactions completed in the capacity of a store employee. This includes receipts obtained from self-checkout stations or registers that were not part of the users personal purchases. Additionally, collecting and submitting receipts from friends, family members, or third parties is not permitted.
To help prevent future issues, we encourage all users to review Section 34 of our Terms of Service, which outlines prohibited receipt submission practices in detail.
We value our users enthusiasm for Fetch and strive to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants. Should the complainant have any questions about our policies or require further clarification, our support team is available to assist.Initial Complaint

Ordered placed on 9/12 I submitted proof of my order placed thru Shop. However it did not populate so I reached out to support. Was asked to show proof which I did. My order was almost $69. The reward was 50 points per dollar. They have me 2500. I reached out to speak to a supervisor or file a complaint and was onto given 250 more points.I shouldve been rewarded ********* points.Business Response
Date: 09/17/2025
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the documentation of your September 12 purchase. We understand you were expecting 50 points per dollar (approximately ********** points) on an order close to $69, and were sorry for the frustration this has caused.
After a full review, we can confirm that your purchase does not qualify for Fetch Shop points. We see that a discount/promo code was applied at checkout. These conditions makes an order ineligible for Fetch Shop points.
Exclusions or conditions that may make an order ineligible include the use of coupons, discounts, and/or promotional codes. For most retailers, you can view a detailed breakdown of point values and exclusions by selecting the point icon in the top-right corner of the Fetch Shop web view.
We recognize you contacted Support previously and were issued ***** courtesy points, with an additional 250 courtesy points added later. Those ***** courtesy points will remain on your account; however, because this order doesnt meet the qualifying requirements above, were unable to issue the remaining points you requested.
To help ensure future Shop points track correctly:
Start your shopping trip from Fetch Shop and complete checkout in the same session.
Avoid coupon codes, discounts, employee pricing, or student codes unless the retailers Shop terms explicitly allow them.
Disable ad blockers and allow cookies so the tracking can attribute your purchase.
Dont navigate away to other apps/tabs before completing checkout.
We hope this clarifies why the expected points didnt populate for this order.Initial Complaint

Fetch continues to allow consumers to play games on the app under the apps games but refuse to award the points once a task is completed. Ive looked into the terms and agreements and see no such information explaining that you would not receive points for completing task if a vpn is private. How would the consumers know if vpn has changed if we are using the same device, same app and playing the same game. While playing game through the app it gives no knowledge that the progress is no longer being tracked until task completed and no points awarded. There no disclaimer on this problem .Business Response
Date: 09/17/2025
Hi there thank you for sharing your experience, and Im sorry for the frustration.
Fetch Play Games awards points when our attribution partners can confirm that the game install and task completion are linked to a session started from the Fetch app. Certain settings block that attribution and prevent points from being awarded, even if the task is completed. In particular:
Active VPNs or private/Incognito browsing interrupt the connection we use to track progress.
Ad/tracking restrictions (e.g., Limit Ad Tracking, App Tracking Transparency not allowed, or ad-blockers) can also break attribution.
Installing/launching a game outside of Fetch, or having it installed before starting in Fetch, typically wont qualify.
Based on our review of this account, we previously provided a one-time courtesy credit for a Fetch Play offer and explained that were unable to grant additional manual points when attribution requirements arent met. We have to apply this policy consistently.
How to earn going forward
Open the game from the Fetch Play Games tile in the Fetch app.
Disable any VPN and avoid private/Incognito browsing while working on the offer.
Ensure device settings allow attribution (no ad-blocking; allow app tracking where prompted).
Complete the task within the stated timeline.Customer Answer

Thank you for following up on your complaint and for sharing additional details regarding your concern.
Our team has carefully reviewed your account activity and prior support interactions. We want to clarify that Fetch offers through third-party partners, such as mobile gaming apps, are subject to specific tracking requirements. If those requirements are not met, Fetch does not receive confirmation of completion and is therefore unable to award points.
In your case, our records show that you have previously been assisted with missing task inquiries, and our Support Team has explained the policy regarding one-time adjustments. Once points have been awarded for a missing task as a courtesy, we are not able to grant additional points for subsequent issues of the same nature.
We understand this may not be the resolution you were hoping for, but we have already provided full transparency regarding the reason game offers may stop tracking, including the use of VPNs or other factors that interfere with tracking. Unfortunately, without verified confirmation from our third-party partners, points cannot be credited.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue to work with our partners to ensure tracking remains as seamless as possible for our users.

As I mentioned at first, I'm a rightful user of the app. You can check my all points history I never violated the terms. I searched on web and terms never found anything about sharing my Referral code on social media is wrong. I removed all my posts though. Because I guess somebody may violated the terms with my referral code against me. I saw many referral bonus that I earned on my account's points history but I'm telling you with my all honesty, I thought my followers on social media joined the app but if that points are the violation reason please take them back and unfreeze my account because i never violated the terms I swear. I added the points history that shows referral bonuses that i never mentioned before. Please help me to recue my account because it's really unfairly frozen. Thank you.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We have reviewed the account associated with the customer and confirmed activity that violates Fetchs Terms of Service.
Specifically, our investigation identified a pattern of duplicate demographic and/or contact information being used across multiple accounts. Our program permits only one account per individual. Maintaining this one person, one account standard is essential to protecting program integrity for all users and partners.
In accordance with our Terms of Service, the account in question has been permanently deactivated and we are unable to reinstate access. We notified the consumer of this determination on 09/04/2025 and directed them to our Terms of Service for further detail.
For reference, our Terms of Service are available on our website: **************************************************
We understand this outcome may be disappointing; however, it is consistent with our policies and applied uniformly. If the consumer believes our decision was made in error and has new, verifiable information for our review, they may contact us through the channels listed in our Help Center.

As I told it before, I am innocent. I only share my referral code on Instagram, ******** and Whatsapp only once than I realized that one of my friends made this violation against me to block my account. Unfortunately she did! How can i prove you my innocence? I really don't know but I am adding my points history as attachment. You can see all those points are earned legally and rightfully. I just tried to earn referral points but it didn't go well. If you would look up my account you can clearly see that violation happens only once and in same day which is same my sharing day. I am totally okay with you to take back that referral points of that violation but I want to go on using my account because it is the way to keeping my receipts in order and see my spendings/ savings... I will never share my referral code on social media I swear but give me back my account please.
