    Back in October 30, 2024, I paid Konstant Autowerks $7,350.63 utilizing a loan from Affirm to perform an engine replacement. The business did the engine replacement in a timely manner but this engine failed within 1300 miles and around two weeks long. The business advertised a warranty and they said they were going to honor it but apparently the business they used to buy the engine refused to honor their warranty and now I have been waiting for a resolution on this manner. I have message Konstant Autowerks a couple times utilizing ******** messenger but they are not responding the messages even though they seen them.

    We are sorry for our untimely response to this warranty issue. We have been trying to contact the company where we sourced the engine from but we havent heard a response back. We will be in contact with you shortly.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    After the conversations I had with the business I am not completely satisfied with their response. They offered to cover the labor of the repair but they want me to cover parts for it. They stated that they were scammed with the engine they bought for the repair and I completely understand that but I am also a victim of that scam. I feel like I should not he responsible for any monetary obligations on this repair when I was promised an engine that was going to last and clearly this did not happened.

    I really appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with me. I completely understand why youre frustrated, and I want you to know that my goal is always to do right by my customers.
    This situation has been difficult for everyone involved, and I truly want to resolve it as quickly and fairly as possible for both of us. When we took on this repair, we fully believed the engine would last, and its frustrating for both of us that it didnt. While we were also misled by the supplier, I understand that this doesnt change the fact that you trusted us to get the job done right.
    Were doing everything we can to minimize your costs, including covering the labor, which would typically run several thousand dollars for a rebuild. I believe we can use the best parts from both engines to create one that works, and Im also working to keep any additional parts costs as low as possibleideally with little to no added expense to you.
    Lets talk and see what we can work out. I truly value your business and want to find the best solution. Let me know what works for you, and well figure this out together.
