I travelled to ******, ** from *******, ** on November 13, 2021, and had rented a car (Pre-Booked) from Budget Car rental at ****** Airport. (Rental Agreement Number 390192913)After about five and half months I am in receipt of the letter dated April 29,2022 asking for $450 for cleaning services as some animal hair was found in the car which I returned at ******************************, ******* **.No animal was carried or transported in the rental car during the said rental period. It was a business trip and, I do not own, keep or carry any type of pets at home or at my workplace. I arrived by southwest airlines Flight # **** and headed straight to car rental area (Incidentally the car was rented through Southwest too with Confirmation # ********US5). To my dismay the Budget Car Rental Counter was not operational, and I was serviced by some other car rental provider after waiting for more than an hour. Also, the prebooked standard SUV with 5 passenger was not available and I was provided with larger 7 passenger SUV. As soon as I received the letter informing me that I will be charged for the cleaning services I immediately contacted them via E-mail and informed them about the facts and the situation (Budget Case: ********, Reservation: ********US5, Rental Agreement: U390192913). But they refused to take into consideration of the facts and proceeded further to wrongfully charge $450.00 from my Credit card account.As I have earlier mentioned that I do not own, keep or carry any type of pets at home or at my workplace and had no carried any pets during the said trip, I was wrongfully charged for the cleaning services.Thanks
