    Customer service is seriously lacking here.Last year I decided to get new glasses because it had been a few years. After picking them up, my vision was blurry and the glasses were causing me to have headaches. I called and left a message to see if I could come in to have them looked at, and Dr. Ayers replied with a snippy voicemail saying that my glasses were the same prescription as my contacts so they should be fine. I was quite upset that she was unwilling to meet with me so I could discuss my concerns. I should have advocated for myself more, but now I have an unusable pair of glasses sitting in my drawer that I wasted money on.Flash forward to this year and I get a postcard saying that I am due for another appointment. I called to schedule and took that day off of work. Then 2 hours before my appointment I get a text saying that it has not been a year since my last visit so insurance would not cover it and I would need to pay out of pocket. I called to inquire and ***** at the front desk was unbelievably rude to me, to the point where she was talking (read: yelling) over me. I know that every insurance plan is different, but feel that when I scheduled the appointment I should have been notified the date of my last visit so that I could confirm that insurance would cover it. Since ***** did not state this at the time of scheduling, and because I received a postcard saying it was time for a visit, there was no reason for me to believe otherwise. Per my previous conversation with *****, I had to wait until after 7/8 to make an appointment that was covered by insurance. I decided that I did not need an exam and only wanted to order new contacts. Since the office is closed Fridays (7/9), I called this morning (7/10). ***** then informed me that my prescription expired on 7/9 so I would have to have an exam to place a contact order. Because the office was closed on literally the only day I could have ordered something, I suddenly can't. Unless you enjoy being treated like garbage by people who couldn't care less about their patients, I would seriously recommend that you go elsewhere."
