I borrowed $1000 from Blue Trust Loans on February 12, 2021. As of today 7/25/2021 I have already paid back $2064 at $86 a week and they still saying owe them $420.71. This is predatory lending and I would not borrow from this company...I have already paid back double what borrowedBusiness response

In Febuary of 2021 i took out a loan of $600.00, i have done one with them in the past and hardships have fell and i am unable to fully pay the loan back at this time and have told them it would be 3 months before i could pay the loan back. They are now starting to bother my employer and will not stop calling, Ive made 14 payments of $114.32 which is roughly $1,600.48 and are telling me i owe them $1,007.38 to close. my issue i feel that this amount is insanely ridiculous. and i feel harassed by them calling every hour on the hour. I am writing on behalf of Blue Trust Loans in response to your letter notifying us of Mr. ***’s complaint.Blue Trust Loans is a brand of Hummingbird Funds, LLC, a tribal lending agency of and a sovereign enterprise, wholly-owned and controlled by the Lac Courte Oreilles Financial Services, LLC, an economic development arm and instrumentality of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin (the “Tribe”), a federally-recognized sovereign American Tribe.? The consumer’s loan was made by us as provided in the Tribe’s Credit Transaction Code.? Blue Trust Loan’s contracts, including the loan agreement the complainant signed, clearly designate the Tribe’s law as governing its transactions and provides all disclosures required by the Tribe and U.S. federal law.

Blue Trust Loans strives to assist consumers with their short-term cash needs while providing quality service and we are disappointed to learn of your dissatisfaction with us.
In your review you mentioned that you recently fell into hardship and are unable to fully pay back your loan. First and foremost, please know that we understand the strain this worldwide pandemic has placed on our customers, and now, more than ever, we try to work with our customers to satisfy their Blue Trust Loans loan obligations when possible.
Additionally, we have since placed your work and cell phone numbers on our Do Not Call list and unless you request otherwise, Blue Trust Loans will no longer attempt to contact you on your work or cell phone numbers.

In February I applied for a loan with Blue trust loans of 1000. I was told my monthly payments would be 262 and the repayment amount was 1245. They are taking bi weekly payments of that amount. I never received anything with the interest rates or payment schedule. I never would have agreed to that amount. I don't see how this is even legal. I have lost my job and have no way to continue paying thisBusiness response

Ms. ******* to date has not been delinquent or voiced a concern about her current payment schedule directly to us. Our CS team is very adept at working with altered arrangements to fit various circumstances customers may face. Ms. ******* did have the opportunity to view and discuss the loan application she signed complete with the required payment schedule she originally agreed to which another copy can be provided upon request. We will have an Advanced Customer Services agent call her at the phone number she provided to us tomorrow to explore the options to rearrange her schedule to best suit her current circumstance.
