I attempted to pay off my line of credit through this company this past weekend. However, each attempt resulted in an error message that there was a problem and that I would need to call customer care. The problem is that customer care is only open Monday through Friday. When calling today, I requested that I be allowed to pay off the line of credit, but also be reimbursed the daily interest I was charged. I was informed that they cannot take any charges off the account. I questioned how this is a legal practice to continue charging daily interest over weekends, even if they refuse to allow a payoff over the weekend. I would like the daily interest of $19.18 returned to my account in order to resolve this issue, but I would also like this company looked into for these practices.Business Response

been getting called multiple times a day by different people at eloan warehouse from different phone numbers that I continually try to block. They claim I have a loan with them (I never even looked into having a loan with them) and that they cannot give me any information about it unless I give them my social security number to verify the account. I refuse to give my ssn since there is no reason I should even have an account or loan with them. They refuse to stop calling and are saying I need to set up payments for my loan.Business Response

On december 29,2023 3:59pm est i dealt with a customer representative about a loan i request i ask to speak with **** she stated he was busy i ask to speak with a supervisor she tells me there was no supervisor argued with me she was going to hang up on me cause i ask to speak with a supervisor then she tranfer me to her friend that work with her name ebony i told her i wanted to speak with a supervisor she start she was going to hang up on me too these rep was rude disrespectful and be prejudice and bias i wanted call back January 4 **** to speak with a supervisor i talk with ******* told everything that happen she advise me that ******* put me on do not call and they cancel my loan that i never gave them permission to do i told her i was going to file on the better business bureau where corporate office need to know how people they hire treat a customer on top of there dealing with my personal information where it will question rather this company is secure and not fraud.. its sad that this company hire to reps to be disrespectful rude and condescending bias and etc towards there customer specially when your handle personal private information that we trust you with.. after that happen i started get private calls.. this need to be address cause if you have people working for this company like that you will loose alot of business. i do have a recorded conversation on everything that happen this is a brief summary and you can also pull up the calls.. i will never trust this company with my personal information when you have reps like that working for you and playing games on the phone . i would like for corporate to listen to the call on how i was treated. *** it sad when your rep cancel my loan that i never gave them permission to do as well put me on do not call cause they knew i was going to file a complaint on them as well they knew i was recording them they did not care. so its show what type of comany is this that allow thisBusiness Response

EloanWarehouse has egregious and unethical practices that not only violate my privacy but also breach the laws governing payday loans in ************************.I found myself in a financial emergency and, regrettably, sought assistance from them. Unbeknownst to me, payday loans are illegal in ************************, a fact that was concealed during the loan application process.To compound matters, I have recently discovered that EloanWarehouse has called my workplace in an attempt to contact me. This reprehensible behavior not only jeopardizes my professional reputation but also places confidential information into the hands of my employer, causing undue stress and embarrassment.These actions are not only in violation of the laws governing payday loans in ************************ but also a clear breach of my privacy rights. I am appalled by their disregard for ethical lending practices and the potential damage to my personal and professional life.I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau investigate this matter promptly and take appropriate action. I applied for personal loans at the end of December and ELoan Warehouse apparently was one of them. I at first ignored the calls since I had gone with a different lender, however, ELoan Warehouse continued to call. I then tried answering the calls to let them know I was no longer interested, no one answers and the call disconnects so I cannot even request to be removed from their call list.It's been over a week now and I get multiple calls a day without being able to talk to anyone.Business Response

I took out a loan with eloanwarehouse on 10/25/23 for $1000. I have paid two payments of $431.64 on 11/6/23 and 12/6/23 for a total of $863.28. I called today to see what the payoff was and they said it would be $1,123.58. I don't think this could possibly be correct or legal as the maximum interest rate allowed in ** is 16% APR. They have all of my bank account information, so I'm sure they will take another payment of $431.64 on 1/6/24 bringing me to a total of $1,294.92 paid over three months on a loan of $1000. If I do the math correctly, it seems like the total interest if paid off in 3 months should be less than $30. I have contacted the company and of course they assured me that this is completely legal and that there is nothing they can do to reduce my payoff. What should I do? Should I seek legal help? I can't afford to pay them $1,123.58, but I really can't afford to pay them $431.64 per month forever either. Either way, I would recommend that anyone seeking a loan should avoid eloanwarehouse at all cost. This is a scam that I'm pretty sure is illegal.Business Response

I applied for a loan, gave all my bank info and personal info and was approved. Among calling this business, they decided to withdrawal my application to resubmit it. I applied several times again while calling customer service. No one, not even a manger, could help me resolve my issue. Just kept saying there was nothing they could do after getting all my info making me think I was approved for this loan. In April 2023 I contacted eloan warehouse about a loan and was approved. Weeks later I reached out for additional funding and was told that I qualified for a line of credit, which I was told would be better. I asked how would the line of credit work and was told by a representative that I would pay it back the same way I would any other credit card. This in fact was a lie. Over $200 every two weeks comes out of my bank account. That is in fact not how credit cards work. Today I called eloan warehouse and inquired how much it would be if I paid in full today. representative told me $1400. I verified the original loan amount from April 2023. He stated that I borrowed $1200. I was lied to about the line of credit. Predatory lending at it's finest.Business Response

I took out a loan with this company earlier this year due to an emergency. Now they have taken out extra payments at the same time even after I emailed to have my ACH revoked. I can not get ahold of anyone no one response to emails or calls. I have a line of credit with this company. I have always paid my account in full. I am going through a hard time and have called to ask them to close my account and ask for a payment plan to pay off my remaining balance. I was told that they "do not do payment plans unless I default on my account". I do not want to default on my account, but cannot afford to pay $150 and have the principal only reduced by a few dollars because of the astronomical interest rates. The supervisor that I spoke with was very condescending and was not even looking at the correct account info prior to arguing with me. All I want is my account closed and a payment plan set up, because I do not want to default- I always pay my debts but cannot afford to keep paying consistently without any relief of the balance. I would like my account closed and a payment plan set up. I have always paid my balance even prior to the company changing from **************** to Eloan Warehouse.Business Response
