I hired Advance Lawn Service in the fall of 2021 to do our landscaping, plant trees, and for lawn care. In July of 2022 they planted 13 arborvitaes, and numerous plants and flowers. They also started our lawn care program in the Spring of 2022. They informed me they warranty their product for one year, and would replace any plants/trees within that time that did not survive. I contacted them on more than one occasion over the summer and fall of 2022 with a list of plants that did not survive, and my concern with some of the arborvitaes. They promised they would replace them in the Spring of 2023. I had also ordered and paid for one maple tree to be planted in our front yard, as this was a requirement of our neighborhood HOA. I reached out at least three times regarding the maple tree, and was promised it would be planted before end of Fall. They finally stated they would not be able to plant it and would do it in the Spring of 2023, and I would be first on the list for the maple tree and replacing the plants and trees. I had paid cash, $10,000.00, for the landscaping and trees. I had also paid for the maple tree in full, almost $600.00. Come Spring, I finally had to call them in the middle of May as I had not heard from them yet. ******, the owner, came out and did a walk through and made a list of the plants that needed replacing along with 1 arborvitae. He also planted the maple tree. The rest of the story can be explained in the attached email as there are not enough characters left here to re-type it all. My complaint is that Advance Lawn Service did not live up to their one year warranty and chose not to replace our maple tree that was in poor shape when planted. Instead, they want to blame me for not watering when that is not the case. At this point, I would like the cost I paid for the maple tree returned to me.
