    This business cut my tree down and the owner came back to grind the ***** but didnt finish the job and refused to come back and complete the job without charging me extra! There were clearly many spots that he missed and I had to pay another company to re grind it

    We have done many jobs with this client in the past and have always had a good working relationship with her.  We ground her ***** as outlined in the contract.  If you are going to have the area roto-tilled, as she did, additional roots will be exposed. her contract clearly states than any re-grinds are an additional fee. I offered to continue her job for $50, which is our basic trip fee.

    AAA Tree Service cut down my maple tree on 11/30/2022. They were also contracted to grind the *****. After the tree was removed, ***** from AAA collected the full amount from me. This was a total of $2,268.25, which included $250 for the ***** grinding. ***** stated that he couldn't grind the ***** that same day, as he was supposed to, but he would return the next day, 12/01/2022. He did come back on 12/01/2022, but stopped working shortly after beginning after hitting some rocks. He told me that he could not continue until the rocks were removed because he would break the ***** grinders teeth. I understood and told him I would work on getting them removed. Because of it already being December, he said I should call him back in the spring so he could continue the ***** grinding. In March and April, I tried to remove as many rocks as possible, but some were impossible to remove without heavy equipment. They are encased in the tree ***** and roots. Because of this, in lieu of finishing the ***** grinding, I asked ***** to grind some of the surrounding area so that I could build a raised bed garden around the *****. ***** said he would come on Saturday, April 15 to do this work. April 15 came, and ***** never showed up. I called him and left messages, but he would not answer or return my calls. Since I paid $250 for my ***** grinding and he refuses to complete the work, I am due a refund.

    I did return in the Spring and noticed the rocks were still there.  As I told ****************** in order to complete the job( there is only 20 minutes worth of work left), he would have to fully remove the rocks.  He made no attempt at all to remove the rocks at all.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    [***** (AAA Tree Service) agreed to come back and on Saturday, April 15. Not only did he not show up, he has neglected to return my phone calls. Since he is admitting that he still owes me work, at the very least, I'd like to be refunded that amount of money. At this point, I'd settle for $100. ]
